Nice hotel in close proximity to down town city center

Very nice personnel in the lobby. They called the restaurant try to make a reservation.

Location

Bathroom is designed by someone who doesn’t know basics. Toilet is just behind the door so you have to close the bathroom door. If someone will open will crush your knees or give you thrashing on the feet. Tea coffee maker should not be at eye level high. Closet is just for hangers. No drawers to keep stuff.

Under renovation. paint tubs and equipment outside my room. Building is under an external and internal refurb. Didnt know, would have booked elsewhere.

Perfect location if you are embarking in Trieste. Walkable from the train station and walkable to the cruise ship terminal.

I have stayed in NH Hotels before so know what to expect: grey walls, grey carpets, grey doors but they are usually clean and comfortable. I got a very friendly welcome at check in and was given my room at 1pm. The hotel faces onto a busy road and it was difficult to sleep. The following morning, to start with my shower was only dispensing scalding hot water, then only cold water and finally no water. I reported this problem to reception but got no real response. The usual hotel guff about nobody having this problem previously. The breakfast is bad value at €14 with plastic ham, tasteless cheese and a poor selection of bread and pastries. There is better value a short walk away. On the positive side it is close to the train station and the city centre.

I likes the position, but the noise fron the street was terrible, even though the room was on the fight floor and had very good windows.

Very old hotel poorly maintenane. By the advertising it look that there is a renovated rooms. We got verey poor room. It looked like everything is falling apart. The staff were not willing to help. Only one socket. The price does not worth it !!!

Chose this hotel because of the location (close to train station) and the pretty good rating. Lobby and staff was nice. Room was really old. Hardly anything from this century (carpet, bathroom, furniture was not renewed in at least 15 years). It smelled odd. I found several hairs that could not be mine. If you want a useable wifi connection you have to pay extra. Free wifi was so slow that I almost destroyed my device in frustration... This is not a 4 star hotel and you should not pay more than 100 € per night!

Good location but difficult drop-off & no parking. Comfortable rooms.

Bathroom, shower (tropical) and towels were very good. Bed was also comfortable.

The staff who work in reception is very kind and responsible for her job. I like this hotel because of her. There is illy cafe near the hotel, and workable for spots. Clean and cozy room.

Front desk was very helpful, but the Wi-Fi was horrible

The position is great, the bed comfortable and breakfast offer is satisfactory. Although the room was freshly refurbished, it was impersonal and not perfectly appointed (walls, cleanliness of some parts, etc.). Reception upon arrival could have been friendlier. Overall Ok, but not on my bucket list.

Location is great, i stayed here before. Breakfast is good , but dont expect 4 stars. Good 3 stars. If the price is ok for you go for it

Good overnight stay on my trip from Italy into Croatia. Hotel was comfortable and clean nice location to walk into the centre of town. Breakfast was good and well organised in current conditions. I would stay at this hotel again.

It is a good location hotel. I can walk to the center easy. The mattress and pillows very very comfortable.

Room was very clean, and agents were very kind. Also, the location of hotel was excellent.

I stayed one noght at NH Trieste. The hotel is strategically located at walkin distance between the central railway station and the historical city center of Trieste (Piazza Unitá). All the staff members I met were very friendly. The room was tidy, big, with a nice view over the Porto Vecchio. Wi-fi was fast, I enjoyed my brekfast too. Highly recommended hotel.
