Overall an outstanding experience.

I visit this property every year. The rooms are always clean. The beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning works and I can control the temperature. The staff is very nice. The only part that is not the best is the spa facility. The staff is great but the spa facility itself needs to be updated. The pool is large but not deep.

Beautiful grounds and common areas. Rooms ok.

Generally it was good, expect that I was waiting half hour when i was checking in, because the guy could not see in my booking, that it’s already paid throw the hotels.com, he was saying that I have to pay. So it took half hour that he finally see that it’s paid and let me in. The menu in restaraunt is average also. The other things are good in hotel.

No wifi in the room. The furniture of the pool is very old. It’s a shame being a beautiful place the owners don’t invert Mony in there buiasnes

Only reason for not having 5 stars is because there was no wifi on the room. And you pay good amount for a night.

Great service. The property is beautiful and the gardens are impressive.

Great location. Inspiring and great service from most of staff. Great food quality, except for service at pool…need to improve dishes and service from staff. They barely approach. Facilities at pool (tables and chairs) need to be replaced or improved. Gardens are majestic.

The hotel was beautiful but the ways to get there are not easy

This is a wonderful hotel. All the people are friendly and helpful. The hotel's internet only works in a few "Wifi Hotspot" areas, not in the rooms. That was inconvenient and the area has a pretty bad mosquito problem so it was difficult to sit out in the hotspot areas. Cell service is not very good either, especially where we were on the bottom floor of building three, which is the lowest elevation of the whole property. There is a bottle of water in the room with a note on it that says the tap water is drinkable but when I asked reception, I was told that was not true and we needed to use bottled water. They give you two little bottles per day and you have to buy whatever else you need. The 1.5L bottle in the room cost $63 pesos, similar bottles at an Oxxo cost $13 pesos so not a good deal and the property is isolated and not in a very good neighborhood so if one does not have their own transportation, they are stuck with what is in the rooms.

No WiFi in the rooms only by the lobby, not even in the hot spots, not water inside the gym and the pool was dirty, very expensive !

The property is beautiful. Te WiFi doses not work in rooms, restaurants, pool area, only in the reception area. This was a mayor inconvinience.

Great place

The hotel is beautiful, gardens and asian decoration is marvelous. Unfortunately in my room I found 3 cockroaches, which doesn't speak of nature but about cleanliness. This was very uncomfortable as to leave our things in the room..and when as we called to reception they would just send someone to pick them up. Premises are great however we had a spa service and there was no showers in the spa I think in an hotel as big as this one a full spa service would be great.

This hotel is incredible for four reasons: First, the property features spacious gardens that are amazingly well kept. A nice walk through the property is a great way to relax. Second, the hotel rooms are large and in good condition. Third, the level of service is outstanding. Finally, the Japanese theme and the story of the Woolworth family add a unique touch to a traditional brand like the Camino Real. Please note: The Wi-Fi service in the guest rooms is intermittent, a point made by the hotel staff during check in. The Wi-Fi is much better in the common areas, like the reception and restaurants. It's an annoyance but not a deal breaker.

The stay was wonderful. The room was great. The staff was very nice and helpful, in both Spanish and English. The property and the gardens were simply stunning. The only minus was the Wi-Fi connection, which was basically non-existent in the room, and somewhat sporadic in certain parts of the hotel.
