Ble oppgrader til superiorrom pga oppussing av opprinnelig rom. Flott rom med rolig beliggenhet. Rent og pent. Sengene var litt harde, akkurat som vi liker.

Superb check in friendly service recommendable

The room was not ready upon check in and there are no people at the property. Also Hotels.com could not reach the hotel so they moved us to a new hotel.

Nice room but the overall hotel smells like an ashtray, largely thanks to the 24/7 casino that is attached to the lobby.

Easy location between the Hauptbahnhof and the Altstadt, and only 100m or so from the Red Gate! Reception staff very helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable regarding the locality. Room was superb and spacious, only problem being the sirens of the emergency vehicles navigating the Red Gate intersection (think the main hospital is close by).

Standard room is aside from the bathroom great. Comfy beds and spacious. Two big drawbacks, 1: The bathroom is aged and uncomfy. 2: no fridge. Hotels location is great, it´s a bit overpriced for the standard, paid 364 euro for two night s (no breakfast) and parking is an additional 16 euro/day but it is a plain normal parking lot no garage.

Very nice hotel, close to the centre of Lübeck and next into the old parts of the town. Nice room, maybe the toilet is a little bit small. Very good breakfast!

Good location. Staff failed to arrange rooms next to each other after fumbling with internal hotel logistics and communication. Great breakfast. Who thought that transparent glass on bathroom door might be a good idea?

Breakfast was amazing. They even had some japanese Cup Noodles available. Location is perfect to walk to the old city and it is nice place to stay when you are in Lubeck.

The room was clean and location is good. But the view from the room was directly facing a white wall and the lack of a fridge in the room was really a disappointment. Although it is an economy room, a 4 star hotel room should have at least a fridge.

We had a suite with a nice river view. The room itself wasnt as spacious as on the pictures however. Overall the room itself looked beautiful. You could see the toilet from most of the room though. There was no way to cover the view into the bathroom.The left side of the bed was so worn out that I had to sleep on the small couch. The biggest problem was the cleanliness. My black socks were white after shortly walking on the carpet. Everything was very dusty, even the bed cover. The person I travelled with had an allergy and thus had heavy problems breathing at night. Even the toilet wasnt properly cleaned. I travel a lot and this was the first time I ever had problems with the cleanliness of a hotel room. The television wasnt working properly as it wasnt responsive and half of the programmes didnt work at all.There was no air conditioning. Because there was no fresh air in the room when we arrived, we had to open the windows at night and let the cold air in.There was no hot water boiler nor free water in the room. A hot water boiler could be ordered with a tea set at the reception. The staff was in general very friendly and helpful. At check-out we were also assured our complaints would have been noted. Nevertheless the given circumstances and especially the fact that the room was not properly cleaned were simply unacceptable, especially for a 4-star-hotel at the given price.

The hotel was ok. My husbands and I, we Were very Happy to stay there. The location was perfect. everything was very close to de center.

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I would have preferred two pillows, as apposed to one, and separate hand and bath towels, rather than just one. The breakfast was excellent and the checkout time of 12 midday was very convenient when compared to hotels with earlier checkout times.

i stay here every time I am in Luebeck. The staff are helpful, the facilities in particular the restaurant and the breakfast are fantastic and it is only minutes from the town centre.

Great location near Hostentor Gate and Old Town. Easy walk from train station. Room very small and poor air flow, but clean.

No air con in the room, for the price of the room this would be the least I would expect

the hotel was very central and close to the city shopping, cites, buses, restaurants. The staff were efficient and accommodation. I had them do heaps - business printing, call couple of taxis, laundry, extra towels and it was all done with a smile and efficiently. The Italian restaurant that also does breakfast is lovely. I would expect this in a 5 star not a 4 start hotel. proper wine collection. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean rooms, although they are a bit small. Location is perfect for a 2 day stay, very close to everything you must see in the city.

Excellent location but the double bed-room was rather small and despite confirming the room rate included wifi there was no signal in our room.... Not sure I will return....

Hotel is 10 minute walk from bahnhof. Staff is curteous and quick and the rooms are great. Less than 5 minutes to the Holstentor and the Altstadt beyond.
