Comfortable room in a great location

Overall, the stay was good and the hotel had a good standard and location. Unfortunately, there were problems with check-in and this unfortunately took a very long time.

Superb stay overall. Staff brilliant on arrival. Hotel clean, bright and modern. Great location with U station 5 minutes away from which you can explore this wonderful city. Suggest you purchase a Berlin welcome card that allows you to travel around Berlin without having to worry about getting a ticket every day. Breakfast is amazing at the hotel with an incredible selection. Didn’t eat at ‘bar’ as lots of places to explore and eat within a short distance. Small swimming pool but at no stage was it busy so nice to cool off. Sauna was great (but be aware that it is traditional at times) Overall I cannot recommend this hotel enough… we have had an amazing time exploring a wonderful city and learning a lot of the history behind it.

The area was great, hotel a bit tired

The pool is quite nice and I like the location of the hotel. Rooms are old and not in the best condition. Fridge was dirty.

There was en empty beer bottle in our room when we checked in, and the room was the really cold. The Air condition would not heat, so every member of the family woke up coughing and sniffling.

Location is convenient but the hotel is not a great family hotel. The rooms were a disappointment. We asked for connecting rooms since we were traveling with children but they could not do that nor did they try even though we booked about 6 months in advance. The beds and room is average and the bathroom is the worse one I've seen. It's very tiny and claustrophobic. Towels are limited and just old; they were scratchy and thin. The shower is in the entry way and barely two feet wide, two people can not fit in this bathroom. The main lobby is deceiving as it looks nice but the rooms are a huge disappointment. Breakfast was average. We went for Eurocup and the hotel lobby has advertisements for Eurocup but when we asked at the front desk for details they were rather rude. There were a few people that were pleasant, a young guy that fixed our bedroom safe and a young girl at the front desk at nighttime. I would not stay again.

In general it was a nice stay however our sheets were not changed when required and the towels were very thin for the price paid I would not recommend.

The hotel staff was lovely. The bartenders at the bar inside were very rude.

Convenient to U-bahn, shopping, and Zoo. Comfortable rooms, excellent wifi. Top-class variety of breakfast offerings. Room service daily.

The hotel location is really good, but inside it is old and missing maintenance in the rooms. Breakfast was really good. The staff in the reception was inexperienced and didn’t feel very service minded.

Wonderful place to stay in Berlin with great shopping and dining options. Property is in good condition even being already in service for some time.

Would be great if the hotel offered room service.

The gym & pool were amazing, as well as the location of the property right next to the main shopping mile. Will be staying here again when I visit Berlin.

The hotel was great! Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were very clean. Great location for the Zoo and Victory Tower, however the Brandenburg Gate is about a 45 minute walk away so if you are wanting to visit a lot of the tourist hot spots like Checkpoint Charlie, East Walk Gallery etc, I’d really recommend the hop-on hop-off bus tours! The hotel is on the noisier side as it’s on a relatively busy street but it didn’t dampen the holiday at all. The cleaning staff also seem to start promptly at 9am every morning so chances of a lie in aren’t very likely. Overall a great hotel!

Let me start off by saying I am well traveled. It’s really perplexing to me this hotel has 4 stars. Very dated decor, mediocre service, tub layout- I almost slipped and fell. I booked this hotel based on the reviews and the gym amenity. My trip started out on a bad note due to delayed flights and I arrived one day later than planned. When I arrived I was told that the reservation had been marked a “no show”, though I had messaged the day prior through the Expedia messaging service. I was warned I should’ve called directly, nevertheless they were able to restore the reservation. I was out quite a bit of money for the first night and I asked if there’s anything they could do, I was advised I had to contact Expedia for anything to be done. It was such a carefree, “sucks for you” attitude. I checked in and decided to go to my room since I was very tired, only to find out there’s no water or any mini bar in the room. You must go downstairs to purchase it, again not pleasant after a long trip. On Saturday night when I returned I asked for a late check out and was told promptly no, they had accommodated too many requests for late check outs, again “sucks for you” attitude. This request is normally honored by everyone I’ve asked, and I thought it would have given my difficulty in getting to Berlin. I will visit Berlin often, and desperately wanted to like this place so I could be comfortable with rebooking again. I will not consider this hotel in the future at all.

CP was very near Berlin's exlusive designer district, zoo and Tiergarten....fabulous! Dining options were abundant....

Great location to enjoy the Ku’Damm and easy walk to public transportation. For a cheaper breakfast alternative to the hotel, there is a great bakery right next door. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was lovely very central. Food was lovely. The bed was very comfortable

A comfortable mid range hotel in a convenient location near the shopping and dining belt. However pls note that if you are looking to be within walking distance to the various historical landmarks or sites eg Brandenburg Gate and museums this is not for you as these are 15 mins away by taxi. Staff is professional and service is efficient without being over the top. Breakfast selection is pretty good by European standards.

No AirPort transfer

I have been bitten by bed bugs while staying here. I called IHG and they refused to assist me. Shocking service and terrible experience
