Nice hotel would be great for a longer stay. Breakfast was nice.

Disappointed with the pull out bed. Mattress was terrible and couch was dirty. Continental breakfast was below average.

It was a good stay: room fridge didn't work, guest laundry has apparently been down for awhile, but the hair dryer DID work, so I was finally able to get my hair clean. Breakfast was amazing.

The sofa bed was damaged, the sink didn't drain, the bathtub had mold, the carpet, chairs and curtain in the room were very dirty, the carpet in the hallway was also dirty, the air conditioning in the hallway and breakfast area didn't work, the only good thing was the attention of the lady who checked us in, she was great. I will never stay here again!

After spraying disinfectant the smell was still strong. The bathroom shower was disgusting. I just left the room. I was only there for an hour and decided to just leave.

We booked a one-night stay and had an easy check in process, the room was clean as expected. Unfortunately there was significant mold in the shower/tub in the bathroom which did not feel sanitary. Breakfast in the morning definitely left something to be desired, the coffee had a bad taste, as though maybe the pots need to be cleaned.

AC did not work right kept giving us a P4 code manager made me feel as I was stupid because he said let me make sure you don’t have it on heat. Told me to call and let him know if it was working or not and I called front desk and also walked down their waiting for him to come to the room and he never did lil red head girl at desk offered me a fan that was very small and dirty looked like it came out the dumpster I told her that would not help and she said it might help a little. Never seen the manager person again so we slept with the refrigerator open and my mom’s small fan. Very pretty hotel but the night people are not accommodating the guest and girl at the desk made me feel like I was bothering her and the manager. When I went to check out the next morning the lady did not even ask me how was my stay.

It was comfortable but a/c unit in room was noise. Rooms need updating but otherwise were good. Staff super nice.

The electrical lock on the door was not functioning so I spent the night staying in my room. If I had to leave the room, I needed to place door jam on the outside--very unsafe. I wish I was offered I new room. Was going to ask bur night attendant was swamp with first responders and electrical power men staying there.

Outlets are not tight to the wall. The rooms smell stale, and the access doors from the back has a broken door handle.

Check-in was incredibly slow. Waited in line for about 20 minutes with 4-5 guests checking in ahead of me. Front desk was very courteous and helpful although I’m sure he was feeling the stress of being overwhelmed with guests and working by himself. The check-in process should not be that difficult and time consuming which is the fault of the hotel chain.

It was located off the freeway, I wasn't familiar with the area and a little hard to find, the street that is.

Ice machine broken in 1st floor. No ice machine on 2nd floor. 3rd floor was only machine in motel. Some bugs in the bathroom. Room was good.

We stayed at Comfort Inn because of their name. I was very disappointed in the room. The curtains were very dirty and the room was very outdated.

This hotel is the best hotel in statesville nc. Its right off the hightway tucked back away from the road. Pet friendly. The staff is amazing very friendly and very respectful. I would not stay anywhere else when we go to nc. I always have the same room as I request with no problems. If you need a room for a night or weeks they always have something for you.

Primary issue was mold in the bathroom (ceiling/shower). It was conveniently close to the interstate.

The hotel has cockroaches the bathroom as alot of mohoo, they did have laundry on service at all and i couldn't use the pool because they give alot of different excuses and they did not let me used it.

Clean, a bit dated. Was hoping for no carpets as it is a pet friendly hotel. So there is that residual smell.
Check in was extremly slow.
Breakfast area felt like a sauna and options and variety for food was very limited.

Kind staff. A few minor upgrades (lamp shades, room door, bathroom door) are needed in the room I was in, yet the rooms and bedding were clean. It was evident that housekeeping employees clean well.

Room was not clean, smelled like weed in a no smoking room. Main lobby smelled with 1980s Avon perfume gone wrong (they were trying to cover up the mildew like smell). Breakfast was from 6-9a. However, most things were taken up by 830a. I would not recommend. Keep driving!!!

Finally a room that is price appropriate . Clean and comfortable. I wish hotels would let you know when thier amenities are under construction or just closed. No dining and no pool available at this stop. Also had a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom. But thigs happen. We would stay again

The pool was closed. The washer/ dryer weren’t working. The air conditioner in our room was set on 72 degrees and it was probably 80 degrees in our room. It took until early morning of the next day to cool down. No compensation was made. We more than likely won’t be back.

Google maps GPS was bad for this area. Breakfast also not good. Universal Machine in fitness room not useable. Pool was closed at 9pm. Property and room was good, rode MTB at Lake Norman and loved it and the area.

The accommodations were just ok. While we were in a pet friendly room, I didn’t expect the curtains to be ripped and stains on the floor.

Good for a quick overnight stay.

The room was a bit run down, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was ok at best. Eggs were dry and biscuits cold and hard. Worst thing was the heavy smell of marijuana coming in under the door to our room late at night. I finally had to put a towel down to block it. But the desk clerk assured me that housekeeping could tell which room it came from and they would be charged extra. The desk clerk was very nice, but he was the only staff we saw.

We have stayed twice and have always been happy with it. It’s a decent quality hotel with a nice price. The bed is comfy, shower pressure good and the breakfast is good.
