I rarely leave unsavory reviews unless absolutely needed and I feel as though this place warrants so.
We thought it was closed when we arrived but half the town looks similar. The gentleman at the front seemed bothered I was checking in. Maybe I was interrupting vaping and TikTok scrolling?
The building looks like it had survived the initial zombie takeover and as we came across it, decided that the holes and smelly carpet were okay enough.
I’m honestly not sure who their housekeeping service was or when they work.. it looks like they’ve been off on their own vacation?
The suite only had two towels so we had to “bother” for some of extra’s and same with the sheets for the pullout bed. No bugs though, that’s a nice touch.
Lesson learned, don’t just book the link that hubby sends, read the reviews and such first.

When we checked in we were given a room for which the bathroom commode looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. We were switched to another room and the toilet flapper wasn't working properly. This property has gone down hill in the last couple of years.

The hotel's breakfast was not that great. The water for the bathtub did not have any cold water at all. It was either hot or scalding.

It was disgusting I will never stay here again. There was leaks in walls mold stunk like dog pee etc there was even black mold in the pool.

It was very quiet and secluded but not very clean. It was a last minute stay and I had two small children with me, the front desk wasn’t very friendly and welcoming

Property is in poor condition. Rooms are dated and small. I'm surprised this is a Choice hotel. Staff was friendly.

There was a horrible smell on the thrird floor near the ice machine. There was a few old air conditioners setting in the hall there. I believe that they was causing the odor. Other than that i enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and cool.

Stayed for a basketball tourney so thankfully the room did not need to be used much. The comforter had cigarette burns in them, the pull out sofa was not usable due to it being stained so badly. Stains all in the floors. The staff was nice, just needs a lot of updating/cleaning.

It was absolutely horruble the lady at fesk was cursing the customers when they walked away and telling us all kinds of bad things and a man had fied there that morning he was left with door open and it was just thr worst thing ever made my whole week terrible

The maintenance around the property is rather poor from the exterior down to the rooms. Broken tiles in the elevator, caulking slathered around the tub without even sealing the tub. Paint chipping off the wall above your head as you shower. My room smelled of mens cologne when I walked in and the toilet paper roll was less than half full meaning they didn’t even bother to put a new roll on even though it was sitting right there. Rather disappointing compared to other Quality Suites I have stayed at in TN. Breakfast also was extremely limited to egg Pattie’s, toast and one flavor of yogurt basically.

Guy at check in was ignorant. Lady at check out was so high she couldn't keep her eyes open. Literally fell out mid conversation. The overnight man was decent though. Hes the only plus to this hotel. In the morning I seen a roach in the bathroom. Housekeeping knocked early asking us when we planned to leave. They were also running Housekeeping out of a stolen grocery cart.

Besides the outstanding gentleman who checked us in on 3/29, our stay was quite yucky. Our shower had no hot water, the bathroom sink was clogged, the beds had bunched up mattress toppers that did not help the uncomfortable mattresses, and there was something mysterious in the bathroom sink. The breakfast area was clean, but the breakfast options were limited. We got in just before bedtime and left early, so we didn’t bother asking for help with anything. Just slept and left right away.

I’ve stayed at many cheap hotels over the years and this was the worst. Shower head broken. Water was luke warm. Front desk kid was not friendly…rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a replacement key. People talking next door all through the night and the walls did nothing to muffle the sound.

It was an okay stay but definitely not the best. The lobby and hallways has an odd, musty smell. Our shower had no hot water the entire weekend we were there. We booked a 2 bed room with a sleeper sofa. The lobby could only provide a sheet for the sleeper sofa- no blankets or pillows. We would definitely try to pick a different hotel to stay in next time.

Overall, a good stay. The most disappointing element was the bed pillows. I frequently with my own custom made memory foam pillow. In my haste, I forgot it on my bed at home. The hotel's pillows are far too soft and too small.

The room was clean and front desk was very friendly. The only complaint would be that housekeeping was too early on the day of checkout. Checkout is 11 and housekeep was knocking by 10.

Bug in bedside table. Used condom in trash. Dirty linen and towels and used soap in shower. Used coffee pot - was uncleaned. Left after only thirty minutes.

Let’s start with the good; beds were comfortable and no bugs.
The bad; mold and holes all over the ceilings, dirty shower, cobwebs hanging from the ceilings, chapstick and Cheetos in the pull out bed, mattress on the pull out couch was covered in brown stains….the non smoking hallway smelled horrible of both cigarette and weed smoke.

The room I was in could definitely use an uprade, bathroom needed an exterminator and work on sink faucets, toilet and tub faucets.
AC /heat unit runs continuously, no auto setting and no heat at 40 degrees.
I have stayed there before and all was good, guess I was in an older part this time.
I like the location, it is near my family.

The hotel really needs to be deep cleaned. The entry smelled of dirty mop water. The front desk clerk..didn’t get his name no name tag- did not greet us and was VERY RUDE!!

Mold, marijuana smoke in the halls, tub didn’t drain, water wouldn’t fully spray from shower head, large wet spot on the carpet, we left after the hotel could not provide the bedding for the pullout couch in the room.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. DO NOT PAY CASH . You can not get your money back once you pay cash. There is black mold, rusty broken doors, the cleaning staff cleans just a little , the dust in the air conditioner filter was so thick and gross . Stains on the pillow cases . I wouldn’t even give this hotel a 1 star. This hotel needs to be condemned.

Room was nice but shower was very small. Not clean and had to ask for towels, toilet paper and to have trash collected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Won't stay here again. Needs extensive cleaning and carpets shampooed. Furniture is old and needs updating.

Alyssa at the front desk was awesome we had a great stay over all the only problem was that the younger guy with black hair was kinda rude when we first checked in because I was paying with cash

It had stains on the curtains and one on the floor. The bathroom sink did not drain properly. The pull out couch bed was so dirty that you wouldn’t want to sit on it let alone sleep on it. There was no management around to talk to. We stayed one night and left and went somewhere else for our second night.

The hot water in the shower did not work on the morning I was checking out. I reported it to front desk, I asked for a room for a hot shower or a refund or discount. The front desk clert said since I booked my room with a Third Party ( Hotels.com ) that the hotel wouldnt be able to help me with a refund or even a room to take a quick shower.
