Confirmed booking was refused at reception. They said hotel was over booked and turned my wife and I away

Tricky getting to b/c of construction. NO complimentary bkft. EXPENSIVE valet parking. Unknown where to park unless using valet service. Sandwiches at ‘bar’ area were informal & limited…no seating other than around pool in the sun.

Mold has grown on the ceiling and elevator halls. Even small requests were not listened to because it was Company Policy. (There is no problem with other hotels), I wish it could be a little more flexible.

The resort was beautiful. The restaurant inside was very good and everything we ordered was very good both dinner and breakfast. The staff was helpful, friendly and most we saw very hard working.

It’s always nice to stay, but the only thing I didn’t like is they closed the pool early , we got done dinner around 9 and the pool was closed already, you pay for an amenity and should be able to use it

The hotel is nice 3 stars hotel and but definitely not luxury hotel with small bathroom but the worst is you must have only valet parking which extremely expensive at $45/night , also $6 dollars for small coffee and $6 for small muffin and $45 / person for simple breakfast which is not cheap or worthed will stay at much better hotel next trip and much cheaper

The staff was great! Had an issue with our shower temp but they sent someone immediately. The water activities are included in the resort fee but there is a very small area allowed to use them.

The outdoor property was well maintained, the main areas of the hotel indoors was very clean and well maintained, decorated very nicely.
Our room had furniture with chips and nicks out of it, outdated. Out of three elevators, one didn't work. It took so long for the others to come and you had to wait several minutes for an elevator to come, then it was filled and you had to wait again. People were always giving up and taking the stairs.

There was no parking. We were told we could park on the street, but they tow or we could $45 for valet parking. This is Sarasota, not New York City. There were 6 other hotels within half a mile that have parking, unfortunately because we booked with Expedia, I did not feel like I could just cancel and go some where else. Also elevators out of order. Nice enough, but not really Hyatt Regency standard and really unhappy with being required to pay $45 to park.

Overcharged me. I was emailed the cost of the hotel with the receipt and charged almost $300 more. Try to get in contact with management but was given the run around, and never received a call back.

This is a wonderful hotel and a great location! The pool is beautiful, and the area is very walkable to restaurants, cultural activities, and many more things. My only complaint is about something that the hotel actually has very little control over. Most of the evening there was a smell of marijuana coming through the ventilation system in my room. I called the front desk, and they sent security to try to find the source, but they were unable to do so. I’m not sure what they could’ve done differently, but this did put a little bit of a damper on otherwise very nice day.

Had a gecko appear in our room on the 9th floor. We had a good view of the harbor. One of three elevators was out of service our entire stay. Arrived first day at 3:30 and had to wait until 4:20 to get in our room.

I have been to this hotel many times before and was always happy. We were for a surprise this time with only valet at $45 a day but that was not the main issue. The valet situation creates huge lines to get in/out of the hotel. The hotel premises were not as clean as before. On top there is a new construction project starting next to the pool area. Not recommending.

All three rooms looked at had leaks and wet carpet. Power went out for 2 hours, no generator I guess. Hidden charges , valet only 45 dollars. Unable to use amenities due to storm. My whole experience should have been comped. Never stay hete.
