Great stay, great staff, clean room. The hotel itself was located in a business area - not much for an evening walk - still a nice area.

This Comfort inn was amazing.
Rooms are spacious and clean. They offer plenty of convenient gadgets. Bed and pillows are excellent. Good parking lot and access to rooms. The whole hotel was so clean, halls and elevators. Bathroom was impeccable, updated and spacious. We could attend the breakfast. Thanks

Of the restaurants listed in the area, numerous restaurants were closed. We did settle on a place within walking distance (1/2 mile) which was very good.

The lady at the front desk on Saturday, 8/3, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She was awesome. We asked if it were possible to have an hour earlier check in, so we could get our grandson ready for a wedding. She not only said that would be ok, but if a room became available earlier than an hour, she would call me. She called me, and we were able to get in early and get the grandson ready for the wedding. The front desk lady deserves 10 stars. She was great.

Great stay. Typical hotel with a great staff. Only downsides were a pretty chilly pool and horrible coffee at breakfast which are minor issues. Would definitely stay again.

The bed in room 102 smells really bad. It took a bit to sink in before I could detect it, and after I did, it was late. It was beyond a musty smell. In fact, it smelled moldy. It needs to be replaced because the smell permeates the entire room. The carpet may be impacted as well.
Otherwise, the room appeared orderly and "clean." However, based on this experience I would never stay here again. I was completely dissatisfied.

The best thing about this place is the manager at the hotel in the afternoon. He is super friendly, very helpful and suggestions about where to eat and what places to go in Salida. Just really made you feel welcome in their hotel. I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Salida, And this one stands out just because of the service of the staff and the manager.

We stayed for a weekend trip with my sister and mom. The room was great, the front desk clerk was very friendly, everything was nice and we were able to relax. The bed was really comfortable too!

Quiet nice room. Went out for dinner then returned and TV didn't work properly. Called desk someone came up and discovered the TV had cracked screen, he offered another room but we declined. Other that that we didn't have a problem. He called owner to get TV replaced.

The hotel room was in the basement of the buildings (which is weird). The room was not in great shape. Stains on the bed. Parking lot was filled with shady characters. Went to use the hot tub and it was not open and was located in some gross tiny basement area. .

Very nice -- lives up to its name. Rooms are much bigger than expected, and linens, bed, and pillows are really good quality. Wifi and shower were also very nice. Check-in was super smooth -- they had our cards (for multiple rooms) ready to go. 8 year old enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only issue was the morning cleaning staff were frustrating. First tried to clean the room at 8:15AM, even after we ran into them heading down the hall to grab breakfast. Then they knocked 15 mins later and tried to come into the room (while on the john! ;-) ). Then again 15 mins later -- so 3x before 9AM. Seems they need a better system to know when guests check out. Otherwise, it was good.
