Didn’t make the trip and hotel refused to refund any of the money. Paid $444 to hold a room!

We had a complicated reservation--three nights with two separate reservations--and we requested room change from one bed to two beds in the middle of one of the reservations. The staff was amazingly friendly, helpful, flexible and accommodating for all our needs.

The hotel is quite dated. The room was damp and musty. At least though the bed linens were clean and tidy. The outdoor seating/picnic space was soiled with several dirty ashtrays and beer cans. The exercise room has no fan or air conditioning making for an extremely uncomfortable workout.

Very nice hotel for after the football game, fast check in and very friendly staff, only bad thing was there was no elevator and I would have asked for a 1st floor room for my wife’s needs if I would have known but great once we got settled in

Larger space, clean and comfortable. Best Western Opelika convenient safer area for late arrival. Friendly breakfast & delicious coffee provided. Great travel choice for family.

Overall the stay was fine. It was just a place to sleep overnight on a longer trip. There was leftover food in the refrigerator freezer in our room-gross. Breakfast choices were not refilled when empty. I guess once it’s gone, it’s gone.

It seems to be a little older property, but it was clean and kept up. When I walked into my room, it had a fairly strong flower-like fragrance, but after I turned on the air conditioner and circulated the air, it went away. The room and bathroom were clean and everything worked as expected. The staff was helpful and considerate. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but it was hot and ready the one morning I partook. It's convenient to shopping and food and close to the interstate. I wouldn't hesitate to say here again.

This was a very nice hotel. Was in town for an Auburn football game. Air Condition in room was good. The room and hallway was clean. Glad they offer a free breakfast.

The bed felt itchy and we keep getting bites

Hotel appeared to be outdated and in need of renovation. First floor rooms were extremely musty smelling, overwhelmingly moldy smelling. The sheer curtains in our room were so old they were designated. Toilet was backed up (maintenance did respond quickly when notified), bathroom sink was very slow draining in my room and also in my daughter’s separate room. Normally we would not stay in a hotel in this condition but it was very close to our family’s house who we were in town visiting and the price was more reasonable than the other hotel that was close. Staff was nice and the rooms were quiet but the hospital is a block away so constant stream of sirens day & night which might bother some people.

The hotel looked nice and new, but there were small issues. The tub had hair in it, and it wasn't mine. Also, when I adjusted the showerhead, something weird happened. Water slowly fell out of the front of the sprinkler head instead of spraying.
The bed felt like it was a piece of foam on top of a piece of plywood. It wasn't comfortable at all.

Not a terrible hotel but I believe there should be an obvious banner or a very visible notice when a hotel does not have an elevator. My wife is physically challenged when it comes to stairs and this did not make for a good experience.

The bathroom floor had hair on it and an empty soap wrapper behind the door, which, if they had properly cleaned the floor they would have seen. Also hair in the bathroom. Nothing more gross! I cleaned condos and rooms for years. It is an absolute no no to leave hair anywhere especially the bathroom. Will no go back.

The hallways and stairways didn’t have air conditioning and it was very hot and humid. The outside temperature was in the 90s. It was uncomfortable walking from the parking lot to the room in the extreme heat. The consolation was that the AC in the room worked great.

The desk person when we checked in about 4:30 on 7 June was absolutely fantastic. Very personable and knowledgeable. Made our stay there the best.
