We had an excellent experience staying here that was highlighted by the great service provided by our server Caio. He was very nice, attentive, and gave us recommendations for local attractions. Highly recommend!

Outside the property car park was busy and appearance was odd and next to a main road the views around the property was good but spoiled by the road noise. The picture attached hides all the real issues.

The hotel is very old and needs to be renovated as stains are everywhere; walls, carpet, doors. The rooms are not clean with stains in the carpet. The shower and faucet tubs don’t get drained. It was the worst hotel ever we experienced

The worst service by hotel restaurant staff. The room sheets and pillow cases were dirty and unchanged. There was make stains on the pillow cases. The room was overall in a very poor outdated and dusty dirty condition. It does not have air conditioning. Also, the noise was unbearable. Every time someone closed their room door, their doors just slammed and it made a very loud slamming noise in our room. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. All plates smelled like rotten eggs and were dirty. The buffet should not be offered for human consumption. The dinner was another story. We made a reservation for three people and they marked two, so on top of the two hours we waited, we had to wait another 30 mins to be seated and another hour for food. Then they come and throw the bill with no pin or explanation of it should be paid to the room or a credit card, so another 30 mins wait for that and no one shows up. So, we go chase after them to pay the overly priced meals. Stay away. It a zero star hotel rating. We tried to get out and find another place to stay but everything was booked and full on Glencoe and driving at night is not safe there. Hope this helps.

The Isles of Glencoe Hotel was a fantastic place to stay with our family on our first two nights in Scotland. Situated in the heart of the Highlands, the location was perfect for seeing the main sights, and felt very peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when my father-in-law requested an extra bed sheet. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the property is on the most beautiful lake so I highly recommend getting a room with a lake-side view. My one comment is that it seems to be a hotel where many travel groups and groups with young children come through, so it was difficult to get in for dinner on the first night, and the breakfast buffet was a bit messy and less professionally run than some of the hotels during the rest of our stay. The dinner that we did have was very good though! All in all, it was a lovely stay and no real complaints. Thank you.

Great weekend away - and Loch location stunning

The property is clean and the lake view dining was nice.

Nice rooms, nice restaurant, poor service but high prizes. The hotel is rated a 3 star but restaurant prizes suggest a 4-5 star rating which the service personal cannot compete with. Rooms are small but clean, also the hotel has a sauna and pool, which are however in a sad appearance… we only stayed for a night on our way south, for that it was okay!

Staff was very helpful in changing our room when we requested it and in helping my fellow traveller with lost luggage. The pool looked beautiful. It was unfortunate we did not have the time to use it. The grounds were, of course, lovely, with the view of the lake and mountains. We had a very pleasant stay and would consider this hotel again.

We had a great stay at Isles of Glencoe. Our room was perfect for our family of 3 adults. The breakfast buffet was delicious - and had some of the best viennoiseries I’ve had. We had dinner here 2 of 3 evenings. The menu is diverse, all our meals were really delicious - kudos to the chef. All the staff were gracious and welcoming. The hotel is within a short drive to some incredible views and hikes. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Beautiful stay!

Very disappointing experience. Hotel was overbooked and so we were moved to a sister hotel - they didn't even bother to inform us (by email) until 1 hour after we'd already tried to check-in. Having been told that there was no room for us in the hotel we'd booked, we were then directed to another hotel (Ballaculish) 3 miles away. This hotel was also fully booked with 2 large tour groups. We were in the last room at the end of the annex and the water to the shower would run or stop altogether depending on usage in the rest of the hotel. We were told that we could still use the facilities in the Isles of Glencoe Hotel but we weren't going to drive 3 miles for a swim and sauna! The Ballaculish Hotel is tired and they seem more interested in prioritising large tour groups than offering any kind of customer service!

Amazingly beautiful surroundings

Staff do the hotel proud but the cleanliness of the room lets it down. Black mould on bathroom ceiling unusable wifi and dirty windows. Lack of vegetarian options on the menu

Staff is fantastic
