They have a pool plus it's very quiet & convenient for me. The staff is alright. We have stayed there every time I go to Matagorda which it's been 3:times in the past year. Will stay there till it closes.

Great front desk service

No decaf coffe offered in the room. Only had two towels for two people. The pool was murky and dirty. Wont stay here again

Easy access to where we needed to be.

Booked room at approximately 11:30pm. I got tied up where I was and not able to complete the booking. Called for a cancellation and refund that I spent the additional $9 on to cover cancellations and was denied.

The pool could have been better but the staff lady was amazing

The room was excellent, clean, nice towels, cold AC. The parking lots and pool can use some attention.

The door was missing a chain lock. Paint was peeling above shower. Breakfast area was closed and the coffee, that was provided, was nasty & luke warm. I wont be staying there again!!! I'll spend the few extra dollars next time!!!

Granted this model hasn’t been updated in awhile and there is fairly much road noise, but service was really very good, especially room service. They got a good tip because they kept the room stocked up and spotless every day. I would stay here again.

Property needs some repairs. Internet kept going out. Shower head needs deep clean and/or replacement.

I was very disappointed with our stay at the Days Inn in Bay City. The hotel is run down and not well care for. Their breakfast options are limited and not very appetizing. We reserved a room there specifically for the pool but when we arrived, we were told it was closed due to the inclement weather but that if the weather cleared up, it would be reopened. We went down to Matagorda to fish at my brother in law's campsite. Around 8, I called the hotel to see if the pool had been reopened. I was told that it was. So my husband and I left Matagorda and went back to the hotel to get a little swimming in before bed. When we got back, the pool was locked even though it was just after 9. I walked over to the front desk to inquire about it and he walked out to the pool with me to check out the situation. He told me that "oh, they must not have unlocked it after the storm passed." I asked him to please unlock the gate because it still wasn't closing time. He told me that he didn't know where the key was kept. At this point, I reiterated that we were there for the pool and if we weren't going to be able to use the pool, maybe we should just change our reservations for the next day to one of the other local hotels with a pool. At that point, he tells me that he grew up in this town and this was the only hotel in Bay City with a pool. I showed him on the app there were others. Then he says, let me get the key. I don't like to be lied to. Either he has the key or not. Will not stay again.

This property was not secured. The exterior gate was permanently open, and the key cards access to the outside were all broken. Inside our room the metal lock was broken, there was no fire alarm, there was no phone. The elevator was broken and the wifi didn't work. There were crackheads and prostitutes working and hanging out. We arrived from a harrowing hospital ordeal at 4am, and there were 3 children sleeping on the hallway floor outside of a door where there Mother must have been turning tricks. I saw the same 3 children in the parking lot the next day. Apparently Mom has residence there. I didn't even stay the night. We paid for early check in and slept 4 hours, went to see our doctor and left, even though we had already prepaid through Expedia for the night. I would love a refund!

Absolutely loved this hotel! Its not new by any means but the room was clean and the staff was phenomenal!!!

Check in was fast, easy, the young lady that did the check in was awesome. Very quiet at night, the room was very clean, bed was great. The guy doing the continental breakfast was a joke, rasin brand, fruit loops, 3 old danish, cold coffee, nothing else was offered

The air conditioning system was very noisy, and it did not produce the atmosphere conducive to an excellent stay. The breakfast was almost non existent.
