Great location on the edges of the Dutch Quarter. Spacious rooms. Tasty breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff

The hotel smells like cigarettes but the streets do as well, and the WiFi is really bad, the internet doesn’t work… The hotel is really clean and comfortable, good location and the staff was friendly!

Very nice hotel. Awesome building. Large and comfortable room. So was the bathroom. Catering possibilities in the hotel and around. An excellent hotel stay overall.

Really comfortable hotel

We booked this hotel last-minute as an overnight stay before heading to Berlin airport to fly home. A friend recommended Potsdam and we were not disappointed - though we only saw a small area, it's a lovely city and we would definitely go back. The hotel was great. Very centrally located right beside the Dutch Quarter. There was lots of choice for restaurants and bars. We chose not to use the hotel parking and instead paid for a few hours of on-street parking - the reception staff gave us directions to the best place. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. The reception staff told us which time was busiest so we came down later and had no issues getting a table (or food!). We would definitely stay in the hotel again if we return to Potsdam.

You had to get a key to access the gym and tell them when you would be in there. When I picked up my key I was told there would be a 5 dollar charge which I tried to pay with Euros. The desk clerk said it would be billed to the room. When I got back from the gym all the money was gone from my wallet which was left on the desk. They scanned the door which showed a door key created at the desk was used to open my door while I was in the gym with all the room keys. They couldn’t explain how another key was made and someone got in my room to steal my cash at the exact time the front desk knew I was at the gym.

I love NH, breakfast is especially yummy but expensive. The only thing that didn’t give 5/5 is that there was no AC so it was pretty hot in the room with just a desk fan.

Das Hotelzimmer verfügte nicht über eine Klimaanlage, nur über eine Lüftung. Das Fenster ließ sich leider nicht kippen sondern nur ganz aufmachen, was im 1. OG gefährlich ist da direkt unter dem Fenster ein Dach ist - Ein Einbruch wäre somit ohne Probleme in der Nacht möglich. Mit kippbaren Fenstern oder einer AC wäre dies deutlich besser.

Perfect location A nice hotel with perfect location just in the center of Potsdam. We found restaurants and cafes just outside the hotel. Nice shopping in small shops at the same street. Before we checked out we took a long walk in the castle gardens also in walking distance from the hotel. A hotel I can recommend.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was in an ideal location for exploring Potsdam. They had good procedures in place to cope with Covid issues. The breakfast was very good.

Excellent location in the center of Postdam. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi was unusable and on site parking was pricey. Room was quiet and clean.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location in the heart of the Dutch Quarter but our room was a nightmare to negotiate from Reception/entrance via lift to 3rd floor, followed by a long walk to end of corridor then down a short flight of steps then around a corner and up 2 flights of steep stairs and along another corridor! I asked for another more accessible room as I have mobility problems due to slight disability but nothing was available. I should have requested a more accessible room so not really their fault but a warning for the trek involved getting across the hotel Should be in the description of hotel.

The staff was incredible!!! I cannot express my thanks enough. They were great at check in and helped me so much with things to do that day. When I came down with minor illness the next day and called a Dr n provided me with tea without me even asking. I cannot thank the staff sufficiently for how nice and concerned they were during my short stay.

The hotel was pretty good except they didn't have air conditioning for the room. At a sweltering 36 C it was really tough to sleep.

Cozy hotel, good breakfast, great area in general

No air conditioning so very hot! The internet did not work properly. In order to complete my preparation for a big presentation the next morning I was forced to wander around and find a cafe with wifi. The area was lovely but the hotel was disappointing.

Quiet comfortable central location in Holland quarter,walk to all parks and castles,great for cafes and interesting cobbled streets and architecture

Hotel is conveniently located for easy bus, tram trip from Berlin airport. Very close to food and the sites. NH will be first choice on our trip back.

I don’t understand why the german people has to wash the hotel laundry with vinegar, it smells really weird. The curtains could have a wash instead, as they smell really dusty. The rest was ok. Good breakfast, garage and a very location.

The location, room and amenities were excellent. Just found the internet connection hopelessly slow, bur nor enough to put me off from staying at this hotel again.

It has been a pleasant stay though we only had one night. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are in good condition and quiet. There was nothing to complain about. We would always recommend this place to friends any relatives.

Nice little hotel but has not yet installed air conditioning in rooms, which is not wonderful when temperatures are above 30 degrees. Wifi connection was also unstable.

We spent two nights here in Room 350 this is an older room that would benefit from some time spent as the door has obviously been forced open and repairs werent going to hide that, the light didnt work and the bathroom needs a bit of work. For a superior room I was slightly disappointed. When they tell you its up a few steps and you like me imagine 5-6 (you know enough to mention, but not so many as to be an issue) Dont!! You get to the 5-6 that take you into the older part of the hotel... Turn a corner.... And there is two spiralling old fashioned flights taking you to the third floor!!!! When you arrive after traveling it might have been nice for you to offer us help getting cases and stuff up there! But onto better things... The hotel is in a lovely central position not far from good eating and everything you want to see is a short walk away. The breakfast room staff were fabulously welcoming and the food was very, very good. You get great value for money on the breakfast so dont worry about taking advantage you wont regret it!Receptionist was really nice advising us on what to see and where to go.

The front desk staff are very snobby and didnt care to serve. It was like they were doing us a favor to help us.Not very nice staff.The beds are as hard as sleeping on a piece of wood.

Buffet breakfast was good value. The cleaner was helpful and went out of her way to work round my schedule. I also liked the jugs of iced water with sliced lemons/oranges in the reception area (it was hot). It wasnt easy to understand how the room air-conditioning system worked (no temperatures on the control) and it would have been nice to have had a kettle for tea/tisanes in the room. Otherwise this was good value and my room was both clean and pleasant. A good experience.
