The room was quite suitable. Front desk staff were awesome. The bed was not very comfortable.

The hotel is good but there is nothing around! If you want to go to the sightseeings you need transport!

Great! Room, staff, breakfast all were excellent

The staff were all very pleasant, especially for us being non-Portuguese speaking Americans. However, the room wouldn't get cold, even with the AC on. There wasn't an iron or ironing board in the room. We were very surprised to find out that the hotel didn't have a pool or a fitness center.

The property was nice, clean and quiet. The rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. Large parking area was available across the street; parking is free on the weekends but paid during the week. There aren't many restaurants around within walking distance, but there is a fantastic little burger restaurant within a 5 minute walk.

Nice property but does not have a gym or a pool so not much to do. Nice breakfast.

The hotel is very well located ,nice spacious room and toilet ,nice bed ,everything was very clean ,only thing needed repair was the furniture where the frigobar is ,maybe there was a leak and the furniture is wasted. Everything else was nice ,the hotel has a parking and around there seems to be a lot of places to park. There are also shops,coffes and evrything else and its just a few minutes walking from the center .

My stay was fine. I found one problem that didn't affect me but could be detrimental for someone else; the alarm in the bathroom over the tub was missing the pulling cord.

The room was stark naked, no art work or paintings - Just white walls. Large room with sofa, no coffee table...lots of space but very institutional feeling. Very basic room. Out of all the places we stay at in 21 days this hotel was the least desirable. I had expected more from the TRYP chain. I would inquire about all the amenities, layout and get recent pictures of the room. There was no coffee in the room but available in the common breakfast room on -1 level as a charge. Most all other hotels have coffee makers in the room or breakfast included. Read the fine print.

2nd time I have stayed. Has a secure car park and is easy walking to HUC hospital.

The room had good conditions, confortable bed, clean and cosy.

It waz amaizing

Very basic, but clean room. Internet was virtually not working, after changed rooms only marginal improvement. tourist buses come every night, around 5-6 pm and leave after 8 am. Breakfast is ok, very busy from 7 to 8 am. If not for internet, overall decent place for the price.

Good travels. A little bit far for most sites in Coimbra but otherwise a very good deal.

We were 3 couples on a first-time road-trip through Portugal and this hotel served as a one-night stop-off point for our next day on the road. Everything went well until we got to the room and saw how dirty the place was (the toilet was actually disgusting! and most certainly had not been cleaned at all). We went back down to change for a different room and the person who took care of us was very understanding and apologetic. He gave us a suite to compensate for the terrible room, but the new room was nothing great either. It was certainly cleaner than the first one but just acceptable, nothing more. We ended up getting free breakfast, which made it such that in the end our stay was ok, but I do recommend that you see the room first and make sure it is clean. So all in all the staff was great, but the room not so much!

The room was comfortable, but not clean enough, specially in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok, the facilities not so much. The staff was kind and helpful.
