Close and easy. Personal was fantastic.

We came to Oberhausen for a concert at the Rudolf Weber Arena and this hotel is the perfect location for the arena. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. We will definitely be staying here again next year.

Great rooms,very clean Nice breakfast

We had a lovely stay. Considering the hotel hosted 6 different high school soccer teams, it was still good. For a 4 star tho, the room didn’t have a fridge, coffee machine, or even a water boiler. I’ve stayed in a hotel in a different city but close by that was the same so maybe it’s a regional thing.

Decent hotel but under construction and a bit run down. The elevator takes ages. We picked it for the proximity to Rudolf Weber arena and that was perfect. Lots of shopping at the Westfield and places to eat. Bar service was a bit slow but all staff were extremely friendly. Overall a pleasant stay.

Family room was big, clean and bathroom was also nice. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast also nice. Everything is on walking distance. Shopping Mall Centro is 2 min walk.

Very nice hotel, can’t fault the room, bathroom or breakfast, 5 stars all the way including the bar, drinks a tad expensive as they don’t do pints, only fault was the 8 euro for parking is a bit annoying.

The room was spacious, clean, but the hotel had no airco . In summer months thats is unbearable in Europe.

Basic rooms, quite dated. Bathroom looked recently renovated. Surrounding area did not look very interesting. Ok for a night’s stay.

Sehr kalt... Heizung hat nicht funktioniert, Low warmes Wasser, Matratze und Kissen richtig schlechte Qualität. Wir konnten überhaupt nicht schlafen. Eine gute Sache aber daß die Parkplatz haben.

Service and quality are much better than the neighboring Holiday Express.

Clean spacius room. Good service at reception. There is a promenade with many cafées and restaurants and inside huge mall there is a food court with many options as well. All within 5 minutes walk. Taking the price into consideration this is a very good deal.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff were pleasant and helpful. Well located for the event I was going to. It’s a pity the bar wasn’t open late but that’s a small quibble. I would stay again if I made another visit to Oberhausen.

Our stay was really good. I picked this hotel due to the closeness of the stadium. After our concert it was less than a 5 minute walk. It was clean, the service was good, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast had everything you could ask for. The only downside was that the hotel upped their price for the concert. For a basic hotel I feel like I paid a lot of money. I still think it was worth it because of how close it was.

Went with a group of friends for a weekend long event at Turbinenhalle. Perfectly placed for that, the Centro and the bus to the train station. Hotel staff were very friendly and assisted us in English, 24 hour bar at the hotel was of great assistance as well! Room was comfortable with a decent bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

This is a fine hotel. My room was quite small, but fine for the purpose I needed it for. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Paid parking which is strange as I could park for free directly across the street at the mall. They should offer guests free coffee in the morning.

We arrived at this hotel on July 27, 2018 around 6:60 pm, it was 38 degrees and the hotel does not have air conditioning! As soon as they told us there is no AC we wanted to leave but the front desk associate told us because we have prepaid he won't give us our money back ($816.16 for 2 rooms). Since we were tired and had no choice we took the keys and decided to see our rooms. The first time we went up the keys didn't work, the second time they gave us access to someone else's room and then finally the third time we were able to get into our rooms. The rooms they gave us were not the rooms we booked because they had to close two floors due to the heat! We didn't even spent 5 minutes in the rooms, never even took our luggage up! We knew we couldn't stay there because it felt like a sauna and I was afraid my 5 year old would get sick since she already has a history of respiratory problems. We saw they had a portable air conditioning unit in their front office so I asked Pietrich at the front desk if we could have one and they told us they were out. They didn't even have a fan for us! We decided that we could not stay there so we found another hotel with AC and left. I asked Pietrich to have the manager contact me but to this day she has never return my call or my messages! Now I am working with Expedia to get my refund back, Eric (Expedia Supervisor) he saw there is no warning on the website about the hotel not having ac but can only offer $200 Expedia coupon :(

The staff were lovely, the food was good, but the room itself left a lot to be desired. Very basic. Not even a kettle or any tea/coffee making facilities.

The internet scheme is an outdated way of charging for premium services. the free access is slower than a 4G connection (that nowadays costs nothing) rendering it useless. Very attentive team and good breakfast.

The hotel was nice. I was there for work at the CentrO mall and the hotel is a 2 min walk to the mall so it was very convenient. I gave a high rating on the service since I don’t speak German and the staff was very helpful and spoke English well so It wasn’t hard to communicate. The breakfast was very good. A little expensive but cnvienent and the staff was really good. I ranked it a little lower on the comfort. The room was a little sterile feeling and the bed was really small and the pillow was really big. I know this sounds crazy, but I’m short and if I had the pillow laying flat on the bed and I had just my head laying on it my feet would be off the end of the bed. So I had to fold the pillow up against the wall but then it was pressing against the rope of my head the whole night. I didn’t get the best sleep while i was there.

I arrived late, coming from the USA. All I wanted was a shower and a bite to eat. Checked in and went to my room, about to jump in the shower when I noticed there were no washcloth. I called downstairs and was told that they dont provide that.So apparently in German Hotels that is not something that is provided, and their Restaurant was closed, so as tired as I was I had to walk across the street to try to find a place to eat. Not very happy with that whole experience.

This is the place to stay if your planning on going to the Koenig pilsner Arena it’s just a 4 minute walk and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity and a massive shopping complex all within 5 minutes walk

Unfortunately they never set up my late checkout so I had to wait around for three hours for my traveling companions in the hotel lobby because the hotel staff forgot to accommodate me. By the time I tried to confirm what hour I was supposed to check out the next day it was too late to manage like I hadnt asked them four days prior. I will stay at the NH next year.

Nice hotel, 5min walk to Centro O. Only strange thing is that you have to pay 6 euros for parking. So park your car on the other side (Centro O) and walk a few minutes.....

The room was very clean and that is for us priority no 1. Very nice staff. Perfect hotel for the price.
