Nice boutique hotel. 3 couples had 3 rooms in a separate area. 2 rooms shared a great porch with great view.

Had a really pleasant stay here! Staff was kind and helpful, the building was clean and well maintained and it's in a great area of the city. Would happily stay here again next time I'm in Berlin

Good location. Clean rooms. Close to bus and metro. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes in the area. Didn't try breakfast so no comments on that. Front desk speaks good English.

This appears to be a family run/independent property. It's an old building so some rooms are really small and there is no elevator (or it wasn't working). Good breakfast options. Easy to get to Bus 100 or U1-3. Several shops/bars nearby. A good option for Berlin if you want a smaller independent property.

Charming hotel. Mattress is to soft. Silent when everbody sleeps, but when there is noice in the other rooms you hear it.

The rather unfriendly check in was explained with the "fact" that there are problems with people often, so if you look foreign, you might think about booking there, because you are susceptive per se. The female receptionist told me she has a room for me that fits beautifully and asked if I was "overly sensitive", I replied I do not have earplugs with me, turns out it was very loud, loud music across the street, to my question if there were other rooms available the answer was yes. I wonder why she did that. To my critique she replied with a smile never come back again. I certainly won't, there's a lot of other hotels to choose from. I really can not recommend this place, I expected an at least pleasant stay, not to feel bad because a receptionist can't keep her resentments in check and because I could not catch enough sleep.

Room was expected size, had all amenities. I am only 5’6” and my knees touched the radiator in the bathroom while sitting on the toilet, so either sit sideways or don’t use your radiator.

Very clean hotel and close proximity to the city and many local attractions. Slightly outdated with rather uncomfortable beds and physical keys, appreciated friendliness of staff

Myself and my partner stayed for 3 days this week and it was perfect. Fantastic location close to everything, so clean, staff so friendly and helpful. Great value for money. When we go back to Berlin will definitely be booking in here. Thanks so much 😊😊

This hotel does exactly what it says. I have no complaints.

The hotel is nice, clean and functional. It is central and within walking stance of everything in Berlin. The staff can be nicer to foreign non-German speaking guests. The seem to be nicer to locals or German speaking guests.

We booked a room for two adults and our 16 year old son. When we arrived, they said our son did not count as a child and the room only had 2 beds. She asked to see his passport to verify he was only 16. We ended up staying cramped in a room with only 2 beds. If the hotel has a policy regarding age, it needs to be specified. On the hotels.com website, a child is listed up to age 17. I found the staff very rude and it was insulting that they did not believe our son was 16. On the only positive note, the location of the hotel is very central and close to everything.

The website photos are a misrepresentation of what I actually encountered. The hotel is outdated and unsafe (using keys with with who knows how many copies out there). WiFi didn’t work in our room. The staff and management are unscrupulous, we checked out a week early and didn’t receive any refund. Construction, on the building next door, began at 05:45 Sunday morning with jackhammers. The only possible positive I can think of is the location but there are other hotels in the are that are nicer and a better value. Having traveled the world extensively I’m very familiar with hotel rating systems and would rank it a 2 star. Beware of this hotel...They took my money for services not received and refused to work with me on any arbitration.

It’s. Noisy and room is tiny with hard to work shower in the water temperature and not for summer anyway ! I hardly slept as the courtyard was always noisy and car park too with honks ! Room is congested and warm ! It has a fridge a table and chair and that is it ! A water bottle I thought was complimentary on table with compliments on it now is being touted as 4 euro each at 700 mls and that must be most expensive on planet earth! I think I will avoid this in future

I can not recommend this hotel. Although I paid by online payment in advance and made a reservation, I could not stay fully booked when I arrived. Furthermore, the fees paid will not be refunded. It is such a fraud. Even if you can not stay at the overbooking of the hotel, you can not afford to refund the fee.

Good location for meeting tours at Zoo Garden station and close to Witterbergsplazt Underground( U).

I liked very much that the room had a balcony. However, building is a bit old and unfashionable for today's Berlin

Clean comfortable and good value in a good location train line round the corner plenty of cafes and bars close by

Price was not cheap, but hotel design and interior was very cheap. Some tiles in bathroom were loose. The shower gel provided smells terrible. Unable to fully turn off radiator so room was very hot. Wifi was very unreliable. One of the receptionists was very rude.

Very convenient and clean. Staircase and hallway has character with historical furnishings.

I was attending a conference at the InterContinental just up the street and was really glad I booked here instead of there. My room was basic, very clean and the bed was comfortable and really a queen size, not two individuals pushed together. The shower was low-flow, but did the job, though the all-in-one shampoo/soap wasnt so great. The staff were very friendly and polite. Very good value for the price, and the location was perfect for me. Only complaint was that the wifi quite slow.

The rooms were nice, clean and tidy. The wifi signal was not great in my room so if you intend of being online a lot it is not appropriate for heavy usage. The stuff was nice and helpful. They did not tell us that breakfast is not included but I guess we could have asked. The breakfast at the hotel was average of quality and variety and they would run off certain things fast. Our rooms were looking towards the central road but it was quiet enough, although the rooms themselves are not very soundproof. All in all it was a nice experience but a bit overated I would say.
