place ha been renovated but unfortunately not soundproofed. Very bad Hwy 5 noise. Stayed Mon. night in Room 217 which surprisingly had a hot tub. You will get a light free breakfast. Very comfortable bed though.

It’s always great but I do wish hotel offered shower chairs if needed. Iam disabled but do not need the full use of an accessible room. Would not like to take away from someone who would need the accessibility of a handicap room. Maybe in the future hotels could offer shower chairs if needed.

Friendly front office staff. The rooms looked to be updated, very clean, and spacious. The highway noise is expected since the hotel is right off the highway, but i was so exhausted from Legoland that it didnt bother me or anyone of my little family. Highly recommend.

The room was clean. The only drawback is the motel is right next to the freeway. Luckily the a/c blocks out the noise. But the complimentary breakfast was a twinkie, coffee and juice.

The only thing I didn't care for were the pastry the chose to put out. But other than that, it was great, very close to downtown Carlsbad.

Everything about my stay was very good. Any staff I encountered was helpful, smiling and friendly.
I had two problems however. As a small 80 year old woman the bed was difficult for me to get into because it was very high. I also would have liked another grab bar in the shower.

The room was adequate and check-in was easy. They offered a small continental breakfast. The only complaint was the noise from other guests. The rooms are located around a small courtyard and the courtyard was used for a party. I don’t feel we received good value for the amount we paid.

Very simple place, but staff is friendly. Not that far from ocean despite being on other side of the 5. The room was clean. Only issue is very close to freeway so noise may disturb you getting to sleep.

The check in staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel is not new but is in good shape and our room were very clean. We have stayed in more expensive hotels and had less service and not clean. The only downside for us was the traffic noise when you step out of the room. The room itself was quiet considering how close the hotel is to the

It was the worst property we ever stayed at. We had a soccer tournament and we called 4 months in advance to ask if we gave them a 24-hour notice if we can cancel our last day of the stay if need they agreed to do so said it would be no problem. When that time came they said nope they can't do that it's policy so they lied to us to get the whole team to stay there and wouldn't refund our money back. Homeless people were wandering around the hotel. It's a joke that they call it a free continental breakfast they literally have one pastry and 1 gallon of juice. Customer service was rude. The rooms were dirty. The pool was green. I would never recommend staying there again. The whole place smelled and there was roaches.

Overall a nice place to stay.It got a bit noisy at night, which made the kids a little on edge and uncomfortable when they tried to sleep.

We wanted the room serviced once during my stay and didn’t get it even though I put the door tag for the room to be changed over. Our mattress pad got wet from water and I asked for a new one and they said they don’t have any spares for changing. All I got was extra blankets and sheets.

We were looking for something close to Legoland and the ocean and we decided to stay here, but never again. Since it is right off the freeway, you can hear all the trafic, it is so noisy.
Also we went with this because of the complimentary breakfast that they said they have, which is a lie!!! What they have is a snack bar (grab and go) with coffee, juice and 2 kinds of bread, that is it. Not sure why their website has a picture posted where u see, a nice breakfas area, that is false advertisement.

After I had a bad experience at a neighboring hotel I am glad the attendant showed me to the room and took care of me and my son. I wish I got his name but her worked 06/29/24 around 6-7 pm he was very nice
