We have stayed here multiple times because it is predictable, clean, staff are always friendly, and the beds aren’t horrible. The rooms are decent sized! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the breakfast was not great, there were a lot of options, but they weren’t great. Also, our room didn’t have very many lights available in it so that was frustrating when trying to play cards. Otherwise all was good.

Stayed in La Crosse on a fall weekend for some hiking with my 13 year old son. He wanted a hotel that had a pool, I wanted a hot tub. Front desk staff was super friendly and explained everything. The pool and hot tub were open and in good upkeep, we loved it. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, loved the computer desk and the dining table. The shower was a bit weak, however. Water pressure could have been better. The breakfast bar was also a nice touch, with more than just cereal and muffins. Overall a great stay! I go to LaCrosse at least 4x a year, we will be back.

Well, I’m from the Twin Cities but I come down here every so often because the guy that does my tattoos. His shop is down here. Very nice room. Last time they were remodeling well the remodeling is done for the most part that I know and my room is very nice. Second time we’ve been down here this year and this is the second time we stayed at this hotel.

Property was clean, bed was comfortable, staff at check-in was great, breakfast was good, nice pool area. Nothing fancy but for the price, was more than worth it.

The price was great, but you get what you pay for. Our room was damp feeling and the air conditioner smelled like urine. They could use a professional interior decorator when choosing their paint, carpet and furniture colors. Again, the price was great.

Building and rooms need alot of updating. There were areas around our sink that waa dusty and dirty. Obviously had not been cleaned in quite some time.

This hotel is obviously an older property, but efforts to keep it up are obvious.
PROS: Lady from the front desk, was cleaning the lobby and hall when I checked in. She was very friendly and informative.
Our room was clean. I especially noticed the clean carpet after getting out of the tub. Breakfast was good. Biscuits were tender and the gravy hot. They had a nice variety of hot and cold breakfast items. Breakfast area was very clean.
Cons: There was no place to hang clothes in the room. The handle in the bathtub for your wash cloth was missing. No decaf coffee at breakfast. (Those of us with heart problems have to greatly limit our caffine) No tip jar for the nice kitchen lady.
Over all we were very satisfied and would stay here again.

I was passing thru on my way home from a touring vacation and decided to stop here for the night. It was a clean hotel with lots of amenities in the hotel. The pool and hot tub were clean. It was quiet despite the hotel being full. My room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The breakfast was good with a lot of options. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Front counter staff was excellent. Loved the hot tub. Woodmans is right across the street, 24 hours anything you need. Only 15 minutes from lacrosse.

Staff was friendly, helpful and great. Our first room smelled like someone had just smoked in there so they gave us a new room. Room was clean, hallways and carpet felt a little less clean.

Our stay was great. Everything from the staff to the appearance of the room was perfection. The room was clean, comfortable and attractive. It was nice and quiet. It was close to everything we came to see.(Granddad Bluff, Lytle's Landing & the LaCrosse Queen Mississippi cruise) The breakfast layout was clean, organized, well stocked and had a great selection. And the price for the room was fantastic.

Stay away from here. The carpet in the room felt sticky and the end of my stay the socks were black from walking in the bedroom. Room was dark, walls were dirty and bathroom walls needed plaster. Breakfast was nasty not nutritious.

Both rooms we booked were not cleaned properly. Pizza box was left in one refrigerator meant it wasn't clean. The other room bathtub was left with water in the bottom and hair in tub and missing shampoo and soap. Pool being closed during stay hours. This was 1 star stay at a 4 star price

Hallways are a little smelly and dated, but the rooms are super nice. My shower was insanely loud, but that’s my only complaint. Good parking, mediocre breakfast. Overall, good value and I’d stay here again.
