The only thing that i liked was the staff at the property! The TV was messed up and the screen was fizzy and poor reception, it smelled bad in the room and i had to pay for parking yet i couldn't even park in the parking lot for the hotel

We were given a room that had not been cleaned upon check in. Then was given another room with a really bad order that was intolerable. Although the staff brought in air fresheners it was still unable.
The odor was from the air conditioning unit in the room.
We couldn’t switch to another room until day two due to availability.
The 3rd room was okay but the air conditioning unit still reeks bad order and the power button was also broken.
There was no manager on duty, we asked to have a cart to be brought in the room which they never did bring one. When we asked they said there is no more available cart. After insisting them to go back to the old room we stayed to bring it, just then they brought it up.

Our room did not allow the curtains to fully close and there was a light on the window so hard to go to sleep. The air conditioner was unplugged so we had to get the maintenance man to come up. We did not know that there was a switch under the plug to turn it on, how would we have. Dark colors not attractive furnishings - old. Never again

Love this hotel, have stayed here several times. Close to grocery stores & good restaurants and just a short drive to beach. Friendly staff and clean facility. Good breakfasts. Only suggestion is to deep clean, replace or remove carpets. Musty/dirty smell when you first enter room. Everything else is great!

Parking app is very cumbersome and time-consuming.
Breakfast was HORRIBLE. Very low quality items, flavorless, tiny child-size ultra-cheap plasticware and thimble-size cups. It was a pathetic joke. I used to stay at Holiday Inn Express for their great breakfasts... never again.

Worst IHG property I’ve ever stayed. WiFi is trash, rooms are old and dated, parking fee is a joke, staff is lazy and rude.

We left another hotel that was dirty to come here. What a treat! Friendly staff and CLEAN! Thank you! This hotel made our stay worthwhile. There was a restaurant across the way as soon as you exit the lobby. Breakfast was good.

The hotel location is great, cleanliness and customer service are good. The only thing I disliked was the fact that you have to pay for parking $12 and added fee, I would accept this charge if the parking was gated but it is not, so I don't understand why the charge, plus when I booked through Expedia the price did not include the parking fee

This place was busy! People in the lobby at all times — but it was a fun atmosphere as others and their families were also here to play and enjoy themselves. That said…our upstairs neighbors had many pairs of feet, and weren’t afraid to use them. I said a prayer (or ten) for the parents, and then zonked out.

The staff was great. They were all professional. And we love the area.
Upon walking into the hotel lobby, halls and our room at approximately 3am on Friday we noticed a very stonge musky/urine oder. We used room deodorizer for the room which helped a little and the smell wasn't as strong in the other areas at times.

we were on the ground floor and at 2 AM the guests above us sounded like they were jumping off the beds onto the floor above our heads--we barely slept --this was after repeated calls for help to the front desk beginning around 11PM---but they were not able to do anything about it??? WE will never stay here again---we stay at many Holiday Inn Expresses, but this was our worst experience.

When I first checked in I was just told my room was on the 2nd floor and did not give me clear directions on how or where I can park to unload my luggage and that was a hassle since I had my kids and had several things to carry very inconvenient and walking in to my room there was a musty smell the bathroom has a nasty smell and the shower door is broken it doesn’t even slide. My stay was ok.

It was clean and safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was ok, but we didn't like having to pay for it with a cell phone, rather than through the hotel. The walk to the beach was a little long, up and over a hill, but OK for younger folks. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The breakfast had some great choices and the pancake machine was pretty cool.

Totally average hotel experience. The front desk staff are just kind enough to be a decent experience. The breakfast food available was not great, definitely skip that and get something in town. The room is what you'd expect
