Room smelled musty...

It was decent. Initially it was overbooked so I was sent to different branch which was only 5 mins away

They didn't let me check in and turned us away

Booked 5 hours in advance showed up 2 hours after my flight landed! Showed up in the lobby up to check in the lobby was full no chairs or anywhere to sit! Was told they could not check me in as me and the lobby full of people needed to wait for the hotel manager to come from his home and clean the rooms before we could check in! Waited 2 hours for the manager to get there! He showed up handed us sheets and said we're not cleaning the rooms you can make your own beds! WORST hotel experience EVER. PERIOD. there was also some drunk guy walking around the lobby drunk mean mugging everyone while carrying a fifth of alcohol! The hotel itself was disgusting the rooms were the wost though. Zero star -5 star

The property is pretty old and while the bathroom had been re-done the exhaust fan was very loud any time the light was on. The kitchen-ette had 2 forks & two coffee cups that did not match. Nothing else like plates or spoons etc. The fridge worked and made ice which was helpful. Breakfast was listed as 'included' but it was only a breakfast bar and muffin (and many days they were 'out' before the breakfast period ended.) We left at 7 AM on Sunday and no breakfast was available, so I think that should not be included on the search. I specifically searched for 'breakfast included' to make my selection. As far as I could tell we had no room service for the four day trip. We did have all the needed items like soap and shampoo, so that was not a big deal for us, just fyi for others.

Incredibly dirty, hair clumps over the room, nail clippings on the floor, stained sheets, carpet.

there was a bug in our bed, tub that has never been cleaned, leaking sink, disgusting table, and terrible desk service. do not recommend.

I admit it--I'm spoiled by nice convention hotels. We needed a pet friendly (options limited) place in our community for 3-4 nights while our home was out of commission for remodeling--already spending a bundle on that stuff, would rather not add excessively to the total--options limited again. First off, booking process thru expedia is wierd, had to update app twice, re-register with different email, it was clumsy to have to make changes through the app vs directly with the desk... OK the property...you walk in and there is ... an aroma... oh yes, Minnesota legalized weed last year. But isn't this a non smoking property? Hmm...perhaps someone didn't get the memo? Check in at desk--staff utterly disinterested. In the room, it was passable. TV was small by 2010s standards. Wifi was ok, easy login and free. Adequate outlets, on one side of the bed at least. Lounge chair had an old cigarette burn in it. Furniture and cabinets looked old and tired. Bed was comfy enough. 35E out the window and the bathroom fan (see below) provide a nice backdrop of white noise. Bathroom fixtures...yuk...towel rack was bent...fan (at least there was one!) was loud and ran whenever light was on--only one switch. Soap & paper products were tiny and cheap. Included breakfast was...stale pre-package muffins, nutrigrain bars, or instant oatmeal. The coffee was adequate to allow me to function long enough to get to a place where I could get something decent. Final word--any port in a storm, I guess.

Front desk staff not happy to see us, made us feel like we were interrupting her phone surfing. The breakfast is pretty much non existent. They ran out at 730am though breakfast ends at 9am. The room we got was very rundown And who charges $1 for every call made, whether it connected or not?

The room smelled really bad and I look under the bed and there was a moldy apple or tomato I don’t know!! I grabbed it and it was black and the floor had it indented into the floor!!! It also had about 20 wrappers from various food. When I brought it to the desk they had an attitude and just told me that they didn’t have adequate staffing. I had Expedia cancel my stay

The staff were rude. My door would not lock and they didn’t show any concern at all.

Not clean and front desk staff not good service

The room had a kitchenette, which is good, But the whole third floor corridor smelled of the competing foods guests had cooked. And the floor of the room was definitely dirty.

The room that we booked was not available. Took the next best room option available that the hotel representative said was ready. That room smelled like a dog kennel. Asked for another room. The room we were given had a microwave that sparked fire, the curtains were deeply stained, the bottom of the bed was falling apart, and there were visible patch up jobs around the room from holes in the wall. We left we the kids to try to find other accommodations at 12am (our flight arrived to the airport at 1030pm).

The bathroom was dirty. Holes in the wall,The bathroom Door was broke got stuck in there had to have my husband come open it. There was two things for breakfast one breakfast bar and a couple oatmeal. No French vanilla and ask the front staff if the was any and was very rude and said I guess I could go check and see. Never will return to your property.

Needs full overhaul and remodel. Good location though

The hotel is located in a convenient area, close to shopping areas and lots of restaurant. I booked a hotel with kitchen, No pot was provide, no dishes , no utencils, no clothing hangers, not coffee machine. The bathtub was almost clogged, the bathroom faucet was clogged. Dont bother about breakfast, basically only coffee and dry oatmeal, no eggs or proteitn. The place is under staff, no room service at all. We have to beg to get hangers or dishes. It took 2 days to fix the clogged bathroom sink. I asked Expedia to get either a refund or discount from this hotel. The management never answered back to Expedia. Not worth it . I dont complaint to any hotel but the way conducted themselves was ridiculous. Pass this one

Our first impression of the hotel was a snarly lady who looked at us like we had three heads. The hotel is filthy, carpets look like they haven't been cleaned since last century, and the amount of ever changing unpleasant smells is flabbergasting. It's advertised as free of smoke but you smell more than cigarettes here. The hallways leading to the rooms are worse than the front desk, dirty, smelly, and worn down. The room does not look as advertised. The feeling of cleanliness is non-existent. The carpet in the room was dirty, the tables were dusty, the bathroom needs industrial quantities of Clorox to be decent again and the toilet has chips and markings of dubious precedence. Furniture looks like it was picked up from someone's lawn, not even Offer-up or marketplace sell this. The TV is small and on a corner like it's been grounded for 15 years. Some lamps don't work, and if all your appliances work and your trashcans are set, you're lucky. A room doesn't have to be luxurious to be pleasant, but it MUST be clean and functional. The only thing that restored my peace was the second lady that helped us at front desk, she should get a raise.

Booked a room and when I arrived to the hotel was met by a crabby front desk person who informed me there were no rooms left. After telling me this she walked away.

It's a total dive.

When I arrived the front desk, no staff service and can not reach till 21 mins later, the staff was late to on duty!! Same as I check out, also nor staff on duty and also can not reach! The room floor is sticky, the toilet is not fully clean.

It took over 5 minutes to get someone to come check us in, then we got into the room and the toilet was full of toilet paper and plugged. I went to the front desk and they gave me a plunger and told me to bring it back.... Then I went to get in the shower and the bathroom shower did not have a shower curtain. At that point I was completely fed up so I did not go back to ask for a shower curtain, I showered without one. Overall, not great.

This is the worst hotel I ever got using Hotels.com. The starter was the night desk crew. I stood in the lobby for 5 minutes, another person was waiting who said they had been waiting close to 10 minutes. When he showed up he told the other guy the "third person booking site should have never sent him to stay here. We had 1 bath towel in the room. In the SEVEN nights, we stayed there was no maid service, no fresh towel service. There is no garbage service. I never saw anyone vacuum the hallway. The Breakfast included coffee with powdered cream. Day old muffins, by 9 am there was one muffin. Every day I needed to get the door key reprogrammed to get in door. The first place I ever saw people checking in arrived with their luggage in a shopping cart. The day crew were ok night guy wasn't nice at all. Don't stay here unless it is the only hotel available.

Vending machine was broke. Couples FIGHTING, ARGUING right under window till after 2am. Toilet would not flush.

I think that there are some gnats or flies that are in the room, and I don't know where they are coming from. In addition, several times there is nobody to assist you when you need their help, and I have had to wait for someone to help me, because the person they do have there can't help me.

Convenient location with quick access to multiple freeways making it easy to navigate your way around the Twin Cities. There is no breakfast sitting area and all breakfast and coffee was empty by 8:30 and not replenished thereafter. There is laundry facilities but no detergent sold on-site. There is a shopping center right down the road and plenty of places to eat so you don't have to travel far for either.
