Room clean, huge bed but not very comfortable (maybe two mattresses) and pillows too high. Only one chair in the room. Only 2 tea bags and 4 sachets of milk.
Breakfast buffet style: bacon tough, hash browns not good, nothing was very hot.
Hot beverage dispenser in Dining Room: water isn't hot enough to make decent coffee and certaily not hot enough to make tea. Staff were pleasant and there is ample parking. Good 5G WiFi.

We arrived late evening and got a very kind welcome. As we had not eaten we were very gtateful of the Guiness and cheese/ham toastie that wax available. It was excellent.

Nice quiet area. Room and hotel were clean and had plenty of towels and shops. Just across the street was a restaurant and pub that has a great and friendly staff and the food was amazing.

Really happy with this hotel, very clean, excellent breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the super king size bed was very comfortable. I have no problem with recommending this hotel.

Bit disappointed this time. Stayed 2 nights but room wasn't cleaned after 1st night. Room a bit small for the money. Last time had a better room and experience. I will look for other hotels next time.

We liked that it had an easy access when arriving with car. Good and free parking. Close to a restaurant. It was also nice that you could open the windows or chose to operate the AC yourself. The sofabed was so hard though, that one could barely move one's arms in the morning. Otherwise nice with a good breakfast included.

An older looking hotel, large room, comfortable, plenty of free parking, buffet breakfast had variety. An adjacent pub style restaurant was ok for dinner, nothing else close by. Ten minutes drive to the iconic attractions.

Horrific sleep. Family rooms are not fit for purpose. No room round the sofa bed to even get up to use the toilet in the night. I would not suggest anyone who needs more than one bed uses this hotel. I complained in the morning to be told they hear this all the time and the rooms aren’t big enough for 4 people. Not to mention the sofa bed is utterly horrific to sleep in. Really uncomfortable.

The rooms were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed only one night but found the staff best friendly and accommodating. Breakfast selections were very good as well.

Outside of the town so wasn’t walkable but was great since we had a car and it had free parking, and clean comfortable rooms. Included breakfast was better than expected with hot options available. It was perfect for our one night stay on our road trip around Scotland.

Yes it’s a holiday inn express. Not worth what they charged per night . Such poor quality breakfast.

No space for luggage when we checked in…so had to wait an hour of our 24 hour Stirling stay in the lobby for the rooms to open up at check in. This seems unreasonable.

We have travelled extensively over the years and we can say this hotel was outstanding and the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. High five to all the staff for their outstanding service and hospitality.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have some difficulty with getting the toilet to flush and the staff came up to our room and made sure it was functioning properly. They also were able to print our boarding passes for our return flights for us. The breakfasts offered a wide variety of hot or cold foods and drinks. Staying in Sterling allowed us to visit sites in Glasgow, Ayr and Edinburgh. We only had a 30 minute drive to Edinburgh Airport for our return flights to USA.

Receptionist very uninterested, took ages to book in, then no directions or anything. Have been to this hotel before and can say its still only somewhere to try and get sleep! It is convenient, thats all i can say
