We were there for a funeral and stayed 3 days visiting friends and family. we have stayed in this hotel before and had a good experience that time too. The hotel is just south of the highway yet is very quiet and safe. It’s an affluent area so lots of upscale restaurants and stores and entirely safe but you must drive there. There’s plenty of free parking next to the building. The desk clerk was helpful and friendly. The room was clean, nicely decorated with good linens and pillows. the room had a sofa, desk and counter for coffee and drinks. everything worked. It was a comfortable stay.

Very good location close to shopping and wonderful resturants. Staff was professional and helpful. Room was comfortable, well maintained and his value. We would stay here again.

Overall our stay was great. It was very clean! You could tell it was a little dated but it was well maintained and again, so clean. Breakfast was good too, zero concerns. Felt very safe too.

Thanksgiving week…i arrived on sunday, it was quiet. As the week went by the property started filling up and it still had a private, quiet feeling. They managed the crowd well. The breakfast was amazing, everything you could ask for and always plenty to feed the crowd.
The hotel spaces are utilized well. Always clean.
EVERYTHING WORKED!!! You know that feeling when half the lightbulbs are burnt out. Well not the case here.
And the gym! Perfect!
The staff was ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and on their game working on many tasks. But there was always someone close by to help. You didnt have to search for anyone.

Only one elevator working….long wait times. Charged an additional $25 room deposit for each night that was unexpected. No mention of it on website when room as chosen. Did not have pets and no explanation could be given.

It was nice except our room smelled like feces and there were pubic hairs on the bathroom floor, I don’t know where the smell was coming from.

Requested a specific room Kathryn was unable to accommodate request. I then got online and the request was available. Very odd to me. There was a few insects in our room along with dirty washcloths from a previous guest. When they came for housekeeping they didn’t even vacuum or pick up the dead insects. For the price of rooms I would have definitely chose elsewhere.

It was a lovely room maybe even a suite. I like having a sitting area and a desk and an extra blanket and pillow. Would stay there again!

Have been coming to this hotel for past 5 years twice a year to attend a customer event. Always had good service. Upon check in around noon, was informed that there is an additional charge of $25 for early check in. NEVER had this ANYWHERE! Only one elevator working, and i was on 6th floor. Construction made parking very inconvenient. Will find another hotel to stay when i return in March!

Very happy with our family’s 4 night stay at this hotel. Very clean room and facilities, renovated room was spacious and our son had a great L-shaped sofa bed with a half-wall separation with our bed. Staff very friendly & breakfast food and area were fine.
Only 20 minutes from KC Chiefs & Royals stadiums. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt. The place was clean, staff was friendly and it was convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel. A plus was It was close to some shopping places. We will be back if we are ever in the area!

Let's start with the $25 fee if you arrive early and would like to access your room, utterly ridiculous. There was painting and construction going on all over the property which was not disclosed at booking and the pool was closed for the year the first week of September.

Need to change the carpets in the corridors ….. they are dirty …… and the corridors should be well lighted and bright ….. gives a very depressing look ….. rooms should have microwaves, silverware etc

The only detractors for this hotel was the parking lot construction, mostly for the noise it generated during the day while we were trying to relax by the pool.

The pool was an amazing feature of this hotel. The rooms were very nice as well. We had a minor inconvenience and the managers were very quick to make up for it. They were very kind. The breakfast was also very good.

The one thing that i didn't like was a fee of 25$ to check in early when the room was available and ready. I can understand if it was before 10 because of breakfast,maybe. We got there a little before 12. Out of all the fine hotels ive stayed in, ive never had to pay extra. The other thing was one elevator was down.

The property was being repaired on the outside. The breaksfast end to soon. It should be extended to 11am or 12pm. My room was perfect for a 4 day hotel stay. Spacious.

We had some problems with the air conditioner. It would run for a little while then shut off normally but would not continue to cool
the room. I had to awake several times during the night to shut it off and restart it to cool the
Room adequately.

We assumed that because we were getting a hotel with outdoor pool, that it was heated. Very wrong. The people working there said it was heated, and others said it wasn’t. It put a damper on our trip, as we booked this getaway for the outdoor pool feature. Water was literally too cold to go in, and it was 90 degrees August outside. Lots of other guests complained too.
Overall, breakfast was decent, hotel was clean, rooms were way too small, and bathroom situation was small and awkward. Would stay again if pool was heated. Otherwise, it was one and done.

The hotel is very nice and well-located, with no major issues. It's important to note that despite the hotel's website mentioning a restaurant, they do not actually have one. Instead, they offer a limited bar menu with items like sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. Due to staffing shortages, the service was limited when my family and I arrived on a Sunday. However, the room was comfortable, clean, and overall good.

I had trouble with getting hot water from my shower and sink. It got fixed and one of the solutions is to have the hot water to run for a minute (whereas at other hotels it's instantaneous.
My only other complaint was only one elevator was working. An out of order sign was not placed on the defective one. A couple of times I had to use the stairs.
Otherwise, a fine property.

Absolute best hotel experience I have had for many years. Caleb and Katherine were wonderful when we checked in and helped us throughout our stay. The breakfast was actually delicious and I never think that about a hotel breakfast. The room was large and clean. Bed was comfy and the Tv was large and great quality. The customer service is what really impressed me and I will definitely be back!
