beautiful old grand hotel with amazing views of Mt Etna and the Taormina coastline. Yes it's old and somewhat dated but it's easy to look past. Easy walk into town

Very nice but parking is a nightmare. Rooks are clean and have everything you need. Breakfast could be better.

There should be options other than buying water for customers

İt is located at a perfect spot where you can observe sun rise, enjoy Etna view and sea view. Very spacious room and a big balcony. The staff was very helpful, breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a bit outdated, nevertheless is one of the best locations. It has on site parking, also it is very easy to get to the highway.

The location of the property was fantastic. I travelled on my own and i felt safe and easily walked into town to enjoy great local meals and attractions. The breakfast was a highlight!

Rooms are slightly dated - but doesn’t matter. You have everything you need and the views are amazing from EVERYWHERE. Get a balcony room. Hang by the pool. Yummy aperol spritz. Easy walk to bus stop, Town, funicular. Great place.

Stunning property and views.

I liked the hotel even though it could use a refresh because of its location to the center of town for dining and shopping; Breakfast was very good with many options; Service at breakfast, by the pool and the front desk was very good. I would recommend this location to my family and friends.

The hotel was great - the check in was very rushed, I didn't catch half of what he said but he was very hurried. The room was lovely, the bathroom was tiny!

Diodoro was a very nice hotel with clean rooms and areas. Great pool and spectacular views. Good breakfast selection. Free parking lot a real thing for most. We parked at an overnight lot about 6 minute walk away. 20 euro a day. Better than driving back thru narrow streets though. Quad room worked well for our family. Long walk down lots and lots of stairs to reach Isola Bella beach area. Take the cable car back up for sure and give yourself time to wait in line for the ride. Good location for restaurants and shopping.

Very poor. It is a hotel from the 80’s that has not been renovated.

Great Location, Amazing View, Charming Hotel, Great Swimming pool...

Amazing place for a romantic week for two. Wonderful rooms and views, the pool was the best and the overall atmosphere was friendly and very warm. The staff gave us excellent service all the time, especially the breakfast staff were loving people with great smiles and service! The hotel breakfast could have had more variation, such as seeds and nuts as supplements to muesli, and there could be more Vegetarian options as well as lactose and gluten Free. The room was excellent, very clean and neat, beautiful details and very comfortable. The two single beds could have been replaced by a double bed as they slid apart. And the bathrooms could have had more hooks to hang things on. Despite this everything was excellent and we enjoyed our time to the fullest at hotell Villa diadoro. We will definitely go back to our next stay in Taormina!

The grounds and location are fantastic. Of course the rooms themselves and the facilities could use an update but still very pleased with our stay.

A very well-located hotel with amazing views. It is next a lovely public landscaped garden with view of the coast and the city. Directly above the hotel is the ancient Greek theatre and the main shopping and dining streets of Taormina are just a few minutes' walk away. The car park is small but very welcomed as parking is impossible in this area. There are a few public parking areas 5 minutes away but they are expensive @20 Euro per day. Once parked, you really don't want to drive again, best to walk around town - it has a one-way system throughout and the roads are very narrow. The town centre itself is pedestrianised. It is quite an amazing place with a very long stretch of interesting shops including some high-end stuff. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms and beds are comfortable and clean, although not huge. We had two rooms with balconies and sea view. Mount Etna was also visible so having a drink in the evening on the balcony or at the terrace bar is a must. The hotel is built into a cliffside so there are many levels, with the swimming pool on the lowest level - again with spectacular views. If you don't like stairs/steps ( there are lifts to most areas) this might not be for you. The breakfast is ok - croissants and pastries were good, but not much choice on the savoury side. Served between 7:30 - 10:00, but very little left by 9:20am and they don't seem to restock things like fruits. The staff were helpful with parking.

Hotel was located in an excellent location to walk to the Center. A little dated, poor water pressure in shower, knob of bathroom door fell off, small room, no toilet paper in room when arrived. Staff were nice and helpful. Free parking but difficult to navigate.

Fantastic hotel with amazing facilities and the view is to die for.

Hotel Villa Diodoro was excellent for our short stay in Taormina. The location,views, service, breakfast and rooms where just Perfect. We will be back.

Property was clean and in a perfect location to walk into the main street of town. It was hot during our visit and no air conditioning was available.

Great location snd amazing views. However for the past years hotel has sustained wear and tear to the point that it would be just appropriate to refresh the decor. Overall all is great.
