I was greeted with a smile by front desk each time I came in/out of the building. My room was very cute and cozy, most importantly it was clean and comfortable. Will be staying here again!

I've stayed at this hotel over the years, but it seems like in the last 1-2 years it's gone down hill. Or maybe it s just the room I got in the past few stays, but the last two stays the rooms had a musty smell to them, but otherwise appeared to be clean. Years ago when I stayed here, I don't recall that issue so I don't know if the property is maybe under new management / staff but it seems like it has gone from a 4/5 star property ot a 3/5 star for that reason. Otherwise everything else was fine, but that's one thing that stuck out to me. I know the MIcrotels tend to be budget hotels and that's fine, but the rooms should at least smell pleasant, and not musty. I almost feel that the room may have also had a damp feel to it as well, so I'm not sure if the hotel just needs a good cleaning or something else. I would stay here again if I was in the area, but only because it's one of the cheaper options right off the highway, but it probably wouldn't be my first choice moving forward. Convenience is the biggest appeal for this hotel aside from generally being $100 or less a night.

Whenever I visit WI, my son and I stay at this hotel. We love it for some reason, the people are super friendly and wonderful service! The breakfast in the mornings is nice too. We like the area and the rooms are pretty nice for the reasonable price of this hotel. Will definitely be back!! Always a great time!

Here is everything I didn’t like... the hotel had an awful smell, the sheets were dirty, water stains in the bathroom and the wallpaper was coming off the walls!
Very out dated. The outside looks nice but don't let that fool you!

The bed was supoosed to be a queen . It was a full. It was comfy ...but small.

The room needs updating and If only not the smell of the room, it should have been better rating. We only stayed 1 night so it was tolerable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Advertised as having large vehicle/truck parking, but when we arrived we learded this parking is a nearby cul-de-sac only.
The bathroom had mold visible under the peeling wallpaper.
Bedroom area was equipped with a full wall of mirrors which made us uncomfortable (2 females).
Our room phone rang intermittently throughout the night snd when answered there was only a dial tone. We had to unplug it around 2am so we could sleep.
Advertised continental breakfast was limited to toast and cereal type options.
The beds were comfortable so this was the highlight to an otherwise unfortunate stay.

It was a very nice hotel for a reasonable price. Our air conditioning wasn't working right and they gave us another room right away. Perfect! Continental breakfast was good for a grab and go too!

I would rate zero or negative stars if I could. I was traveling with my sister and my 2 young daughters. Our room (123) was musty upon arrival. The sheets were damp and there was evidence of water damage in the bathroom. When I asked to change rooms I was told they were sold out. I asked for clean sheets which they did bring but it didn’t help much. For the comforter, we actually had to decide which side was least stained and flip that away from us when we re-made the beds. The deadbolt on our door was broken and the door to the outside at the end of the hallway did not lock so we did not feel very safe. We went to bed at 10, woke at 5:45 and got the heck out of there. Breakfast was not kid-friendly in my opinion. Overall, would NOT recommend for families.

Lower end room. Torn carpet, older fixtures, generally run down in appearance. “Breakfast” was a basket of bananas, juice, hard boiled eggs, cellophane wrapped bagels, yogurt, and cereals in a dispenser. Milk from a gallon jug in the mini fridge. You get what you paid for and just needed somewhere to get a few hours sleep before heading out on the road again. If that’s what you’re looking for this place will do. Otherwise spend a couple more bucks at another place.

Stay was good. Traffic on the Interstate was load but I expected that being near the Interstate. Pillows were a little thick for me. Room and facility were clean.

There were empty gun casing in the parking lot , guys dumpster diving looking for food in the parking lot . Wasn’t sure if our vehicle would be there when we woke up

It appears that certain features of this hotel could use some updating....several places with peeling wallpaper, a bit of a damp smell in the room when we first arrived. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast choices were adequate.

I left a library book in the room when I checked out, and they had it for me when I came back the next day to retrieve it. Room was clean and had all the amenities: TV, fridge, microwave

The overall trip was satisfactory but the hotel needed a lot of TLC. The bathroom had only a sink, toilet and shower which was clean but in sad shape. No vanity in the bathroom. The room was small but adequate. It was rated a 9 but I would give it a 6-7. The beds were comfortable. I would probably not book a Microtel room in the future.

Micro is a good word. Everything was minimal. Room size, bed condition, breakfast etc. and not inexpensive! Much worse than other places we’ve stayed in LaCrosse area.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. It was right off the highway in a good area. You could hear the cars on the highway and the air conditioner was loud. The tv also had screen issues. But for a decent price and just a rest overnight was fine for us.
