Staff was very helpful.

Pretty clean hotel. No toilet paper, lights didn’t work, no towels, they didn’t have extra blankets, or pillows. Breakfast was barely anything but very clean

Average hotel

The room smelled of extreme human body odor. It was dirty with other people’s items such as hair bands laying around. Hot tub was broken and the pool was freezing. Tent city behind the hotel full of drug addicts. Do not ever recommend staying in this hotel or town. Ever.

Nicely remodeled hotel. Smelled clean and fresh. The staff was very friendly. The room and beds was very comfortable and the breakfast room was clean with lots of variety. However, we were disappointed the pool was not heated and the jacuzzi was not in service. Also, there is a homeless encampment behind the hotel. But they never bothered us. Also a plus, very near to gas station, restaurant and freeway.

It was nice but could have been better

We stayed because of the beautiful pool pictures however the front desk informed us that the pool is not heated and the hot tub had caution tape around it. This hotel provides full size Dove bath products in the shower but the conditioner was empty. It sits directly in front of a large homeless encampment but it seems to be an amiable arrangement between the camp and the hotel as we did not notice any issues on the property.

Good stay

The hotel is very close to the Tesla Supercharger (which is in a strip mall, so shops are available. Black Bear Diner is next door, but I haven't tried that.

During checkout, we went up to the front desk and were not acknowledged. We stood there for a few minutes and we were not spoken to, even though we were the only people at the desk. Our room had loose nails and a missing lock. There were bugs in the bathtub as well.

It was right off I-5 and right next to black bear restaurant,McD’s,and gas stations plus it was clean,updated and quiet.would definitely stay there again.

Evening desk clerk got me out of bed to ask if I had checked in yet. I had checked in around 3 in the afternoon the day before. He said I would have to bring a card to the front desk, for incidentals, asap. I told him, if the day clerk didn't do their job that was not my problem. He was very belligerent, and I finally told him I would go to the front desk in the morning. This whole experience on top of the upgrade, that's going on two years now, and the unobstructed view of the homeless tent city a half block away, has soured me on the Baymont. Too bad, used to be a nice place. After 8 stays with them I guess its time for Holiday Inn, or Best Western next year. Maybe the government will subsidies putting homeless people in the Baymont, just like the Motel 6 next door.

Good service

Not a bad place to stay. Some amenities and room features were broken during my stay, but overall a safe and quiet place.

Clean

Their Jacuzzi wasn’t working, and the room was upstairs and they don’t have an elevator. I’m disabled and I can’t climb stairs. They refunded our stay, the payment back to me hasn’t posted to my checking account, but we didn’t stay there, we ended up staying in Weed.

We needed a place to stay since we were breaking up a two day drive. It looks good on-line, but it's not what it seems. The pool is out of commission, the hot tub doesn't work, the TV looks like its from the 1990s, ... in general, it could be really nice but the owner/operator hasn't taken care of it like he should.

I was very disappointed by the fact it advertised a pool & spa. I had picked this motel for the indoor pool & spa. The pool was too cold to get into & the spa was empty. As we came back out of pool area host said “Oh too cold. He added someone would be trying to fix soon. He should have told us upon check/in, not after planning our eve around the pool & dressing down.

One thing there was a homeless camp about 150 yards from our window. The rooms were not nice, carpet was awful, shower didn't drain and the bathroom was so small you could hardly close the door. Did NOT look like the pictures. Non smoking room smelled like someone had smoked. Linens smelled even after spraying lysol on everything. Will never stay there again.

Property had homeless camp directly behind motel when checking in was given the wrong room that I had reserved at first then after disputing with worker finally got it resolved to a king bed but was not given the jacuzzi tub as shown on the picture probably only had eight guests total for the night will not stay there again

The room was very nice, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. The locked mental health center behind the building is very visible , I am a psychiatric NP so I was fine w that but other people might feel more calm not seeing that. But more intensely was the nearby fairly large homeless camp. I saw the police checking it and there were porta-potties, for them which tells me the community is trying to help them, that is good. But people get nervous near homeless camps,. I'm not sure what you can do about that. The back parking lot had some construction materials which maybe could be moved. You really try to do a good job for the customers and it shows. I also appreciated that I could bring my dogs here at a very reasonable rate. Your pool and sauna area was very attractive. Your receptionist said he checked the doors on the camera at night, I had not asked, but that was nice. I recently stayed at a very expensive hotel in San Diego, paid for parking there, three of my four tires were badly slashed and they did not express much care, all they did was re-imburse the parking fees, they did not attempt to help at all, that gave me a very different feeling about them compared to your less expensive hotel in a small unassuming town. Close to Diner

There is a homeless camp a few hundred feet from the back parking lot, and there were guys hanging out and smoking in the lot all night long. The exit door to that side of the building, wouldn’t lock…but worst of all- we discovered in the morning that the door to our room also didn’t lock. The lights in the pool didn’t work, so you had to swim in the dark. The hot tub was broken and had caution tape around it. The front desk guy was nice enough and did his job fine, but give the guy a raise. His black T-shirt had holes in the armpits.

Since I was put in a handicapped room with no carpet and a hard floor which I slipped on. I asked at the front desk, why? Apparently when booked by a "3rd party" I was put in a handicapped room as they usually book last. You should look into this, as not a regular room as promised.
