Mattress support appears to be made of sheet metal. The mattress slides very easily on it & the metal has very sharp edges. My husband cut his leg setting on the side of the bed, it was reported to the front desk.

Great room and amenities.

We had a very late check in at 3/00am and room was held for us. Also we were allowed a late check out so we could get some sleep. That was very accommodating of the staff. Hotel was quiet and clean for our short stay.

Good stay, beds were very comfortable, room was clean and quiet.

Little scary entering the dingy lobby with fans running and air conditioning broken. However our room second floor end of hall was newly redone it seemed. We were not told about the elevators which would have been handy with all our stuff to haul in. Lets just say it was in interesting stay.....

The hotel is very unorganized. I was twice given room with someone still occupied. The front desk staff is kind to cancel my stay. The same situation also happened to another lady who checked in after me with someone still in her room.

With the exception of one very rude desk clerk the stay was perfect. Management apologized for him

Facility is extremely worn and in need of refurbishment. Room seemed fairly clean but smelled like numerous smokers had been there and heavy cleaning didn’t cut it.

Expedia webite needs to updates about property amenties. There are no bars or restaurants on the property

We were able to check in early. That was very helpful.

We were not able to check in as they did not have a room for us even though we booked and paid on Expedia more than 1 week ago. Staff complained other staff did not come in to clean rooms and therefore we were without a room. We tried to check in around midnight after travelling all day...we were exhausted. They advised they would refund us through Expedia and l will be following up with Expedia to make sure. We had to find another hotel at a higher cost. We felt that the staff did not really care. The just said we have a problem. There were other guests at this hotel and we did not understand why if we had a guaranteed reservation a room was not cleaned. There were 3 staff in the lobby. This was very upsetting. We definitely DO NOT recommend this hotel.

For the price, it was surprisingly nice and clean. The hotel felt safe, and the location was very convenient for our plans.

My first impression was not good. The hotel is located next to a closed hotel and the windows for the main lobby were open, fans running and the air conditioning was not working. A customer in front of me was told they didn't take credit cards when trying to pay for a beverage. My check in went smoothly, as I pre paid. I went to my room and was pleasantly surprised to see a very clean room and the air conditioner ran perfectly. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. Check out was easy.

It’s definitely the nicer place to stay if you’re staying in Grayling. The rooms are dated but they have upgraded the TVs and have a good variety of movie channels. Staff is very friendly and are helpful.

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. Didnt notice till around 11pm. My son decided to take a sea shower and realized the bathtub wasnt draining

I was impressed by the size and add-ons for the suite we had.

2 day kayaking trip on Au Sable River. Room was clean comfortable and met our simple needs.

While the hotel itself is decorated from the 80s and 90s, I found my room extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was as expected- microwaveable omelettes, cereals, waffles, etc. Staff was pleasant.

Likes: big room, clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Dislikes: dated and old, walls are thin if you have noisy neighbors
