It is being renivated there was holes in the sheetrock carpet was coming up and had staples sticking out that cut my husbands foot

The hotel smelled absolutely horrible, mold all in the bathroom. Strong mildew smell, beds were a small full advertised queen. Mildew all over the windows . Beds hard the hotel hallways were strong mildew smell and very very dirty

It was an ideal location and looks like it is being updated, however our room was in the back and although clean it was old and smelly. Had to buy a candle and open windows. Because I had pets when they did their business there were no trash cans for pet poo disposal. Also the trash bins were far and few and full. Housekeeping of grounds other than front of building needs to be better maintained.

This is the worst place I have stayed in over 30 years. The hallways of the building were filthy, there was garbage stacked in the stairways, and even some in the main hallways. The bathroom door of our room would not close, the floor was stained and dirty, the cover of one of the large lights was dangling by one end, the bed linen was stained and did not appear to have been washed and there was human hair all around the outside of the box spring and mattress. This place needs to checked by the health department. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!

The exit stairwells are filthy.
There was stacked garbage in the stairwell that was not removed in the 20 hours I was on property.
The exit doorway to the outside didn't shut properly (anyone from the outside could access the inside of the building).

The person in front of me checking in complained that she had waited 27 minutes for someone to show at the front desk. Most of the time there wasn't anyone there. Our room was comfortable, but nothing by means of supplies in the kitchen. I think we could have perhaps purchased a set up with plates and cups. It was very convenient and very reasonable for us.

Stayed at 2 Extended Stay hotels. The first in Hillsboro, OR and the second in Lisle Chicago. Both were accommodating. Staff was nice at both places and the rooms were clean. However, both could use updates. At the first the lamp in the room needed repairs and was propped up behind the chair. Pots that we borrowed looked like they had seen better days. At the second one in Chicago the staff let us in after midnight when our transportation was delayed. However, the staff was preoccupied at checkout causing a 30 delay. Overall, not a bad experience..I would stay here again.

I did have some roaches in the dinning area. Did manage to spray some insect killer and by Econ’s night didn’t see any. Maybe because my room was located towards the end of the hallway where the trash was being thrown. Other than that, it was a great stay.

I waited 20 minutes at the check in desk while Tim talked to someone on the phone and did not acknowledge me at all!
The room was absolutely filthy. The bed sheets had stains or blood in them!!!

We could not stay here and just left the keys in the room and had to pay a lot for another hotel!!

The walls are very thin so there is a lot of noise from hallways or if someone talks loudly in another room. Fortunately, most guests were quiet at least by 11pm. Was in a nice area. The room was nice and roomy, comfortable bed. If you forget any toiletries, they have a lot of things available at the front desk.

I did not like that the information about the rating of 3 stars was misleading. The property’s parking lot was well lighted but many people were loitering at night. The hallway smells like dead fish. The king’s suites - carpet were old, dirty. The room smell so bad that even a whole package of chlorox wipes did not work and we cannot sleep with the smell. The lights in the room were yellow, making it dark. There are hair on pillows or bed sheet. The curtains have bloody stains. The chairs were dilapidated that it is difficult to enjoy stay. I do not recommend this place even for a night stay

Housing for the homeless, very dirty, very overpriced. Not worth $1450 for 10 nights. Moved 3 days before I was supposed to check out to another one 4 blocks away for $75 a night. Worst experience ever for an Extended Stays America, and shame on Expedia for not doing their homework on properties they promote.

I liked the bed. Room had kitchen, but no dishes and no coffee pot. Coffee was available in the morning in the morning. Breakfast was slight with a muffin or an energy bar. It was very sad.

Actually my son is staying here,he always stays here. The staff is nice and the place is clean

Overall it was an okay place to stay. At one point our key card stopped working and we had to go to the front desk to get it reactivated. The gentleman took our card and asked our room number and reactivated it. Didn’t check ID or ask for a name on the room. That didn’t feel very safe to me. Overall, most of the staff was very friendly.

The staff was nice but the internet was horrible, and had to pay for better service, whuch was unnecessary nerver have i ever had to do that before at any hotel. told them about the dishwasher not draining and all they did was suctioned it out and didnt actually fix it. Used it the same night and was stopped up again and it stunk so bad from the water just sitting in it. The internet was terrible and if you wanted better internet you had to pay extra which makes no sense. Worst place i have ever stayed but the staff was nice.

Room smelled like cigarettes and dog. Room was clean in appearance but definitely been used well. All in all, not a bad room for price and what we needed.

I liked the setup of the location having easy access to the stairwell to the back entrance so I didn't have to walk from one side of the building to the other when I was staying. I could after a long day out in Portland get into the building and into my room safely and quickly.

The location is great. The hotel is very dirty. My room had roaches in it. It’s an extended stay so you’ve got some questionable people living there as well. Tried to get into my room one night and it wouldn’t open. The front desk gal came up and had to body slam the door to open it. That felt very unsafe. There’s nothing in the kitchen for use, you have to ask for stuff. But I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because of the roaches. They did issue me a full refund because it was such an awful stay. There was a huge hole in the wall in the hallway. Just not somewhere I would bring my family and feel comfortable in. I came solo for the reptile show. I wouldn’t stay again though, it was too gross.
