We had an amazing couples week at the Barcelo

Bad Experienced and very disappointed with Kyoto Restaurant Hostess who was very rudely . I hope the Hostess at the KYOTO RESTAURANT would treat everyone respectfully in the future equally and be nice and kindly to all the Customers.

Great stay! Everyone was nice. Pool needs to be a little More cleaner.

overall, had a great time. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will return again.

It really is a happy island, People are very friendly.

The rooms were terrible. The hotel lobby was not well maintained. The property outside by the pool and beach were nice, but some of the chairs were broken so if you didn’t get out there early enough to claim the good ones, you were uncomfortable all day. We booked a room they had advertised as one that comfortably sleeps a family of four and our room had two full sized beds with barely enough room to even fit an additional roll away bed. We tried upgrading but they had no other options available. They also wouldn't let us book dinner reservations in advance but then when we got there and attempted to book reservations, we were told everything was booked up so we had limited options and we could only experience a few of the restaurants. We ended up eating off the resort one night because we didn’t want the buffet again, even though we paid for all inclusive. The whole place seemed poorly managed and maintained and for the amount we paid to stay there, it was not what we were expecting. We love Aruba and the staff there was amazing but overall, we were very disappointed with this resort and will never book with Barceló again.

Food was not great

Jazon and Willians provided great service at the Japanese and Italian restaurants. The resort can use an upgrade overall. Although the food was good, the buffett is timed and the ala carte restaurants require a reservation which can be inconvenient for someone on a different schedule. One of the best beaches to swim in. Lots of fun water sports to enjoy.
