Lovely clean hotel with fantastic staff. Also the bedroom and bed was very comfortable. The bar cosy and would certainly stay again on my next trip to Scotland.

Hotel lovely and very clean. Restaurant not fantastic for evening meal, tad over cooked, think they could do with less choice so they can do what they do better, just a thought. Venue and staff fab though.

So we have history with this hotel, are used to say that all the time and probably hated majority of stays. but time moves on and so does what I want for hotel so basically it’s different now than it was for five years ago itself is functional but large rooms the beds are divinely comfortable TV et cetera are all good so from the room point of view 10 out of 10 is the bar area is shabby, old-fashioned , without being quaint. And the choice at the bar is pitiful. I understand that some people inexplicably like lager that’s okay but not six sort of lager. It’s all the same . That wouldn’t have been so bad if there was a few real Ale, a few credible draft bitters but there’s nothing. this is becoming more of a problem as I wanted to spend the evening in the bar with a couple of beers and chill out. I couldn’t. the whole experience for me was subpar for a decent bar. As a disabled person the access is really easy. The staff were very helpful but not too helpful. The breakfast I missed because it’s too much to eat and it’s £12 or so too expensive. The meals were okay, I suppose but I didn’t eat them because I’m a vegan and there was no vegan options. I could see other than the veggie burger. In summary nice place to stay and sleep only, but for a meal and a bit of ambience, poor.

My Bathroom had a flying ant infestation. I did move rooms, buts hassle after a long day & drive

A very clean and welcoming Best Western hotel. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Very nice to lace to stay

The bed was extemely uncomfortable, we were put in a room that yhe heating was on full blast and couldnt turn off, there was a factory across the roaf and the fans were going all night and we couldnt sleep. The food was awful, the chips were soggy , the bacon was rock hard

Stay here at least once a month. Round the corner from a vast business estate. Good size rooms, comfy bed, hot showers and clean. Some rooms much nicer than others, I’ve stayed in a few!

A listed building providing facilities for functions. Some bedrooms are in the original building with old beams etc. Other bedrooms are located in adjoining annexe building. We had a mini suite which was spacious, had a large double bed, sofa, table with 2 arm chairs. Ensuite walk in shower, wc etc. Lighting was a bit gloomy but the room was very comfortable. Good dining options, buffet breakfast was very good with hit and cold choices. Staff were friendly and attentive. Free parking in the hotel grounds. Gardens were pleasantly maintained.

Last minute booking. Enjoyed our stay. Hospitality was great, friendly atmosphere, good sleep, breakfast and dinner was great. Wouldn stay again. Thank you.

Lovely hotel, staff pleasant no real issues other than pointing out an ill fitting carpet in room 83 not professionally fitted as curled at edges really let the room down. Food excellent but a tad pricey. The room rate @ £102 for one night also excessive.

Nice and friendly hotel handy for rugby and football

We enjoyed our recent two night stay while visiting family. The hotel is very nice. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. It's situated just off the M58 about 5 mins from the M6, on the edge of an industrial estate with no local amenities within walking distance. The bar area is good with a well stocked bar and a good selection of bar snacks. We would have given a 5* review if the second night hadn't been spoilt by other guests shouting, banging doors and throwing things between 2:30 and 4am.

Bar area smells like sewage. No hot water from shower. Pee on toilet rim. I wouldn’t stay here again. Also no clean tables at breakfast

Great property and unique. Large room well equipped and comfortable. Bathroom was a little tired and needed a little tlc. We would stay again. Great welcoming staff.

The staff are this hotels biggest asset. Everyone we came into contact with, in every deoartment, were all helpful, smilling, willing, hearing and reactive instantly when an issue was raised. I.e. no USB ports, they charged our phone while we had breakfast. A hairdryer dud not work, a replacement was delivered in minutes. Food was delicious. The breakfast is excellent value for money, all you can eat, hot cold buffet. Hot drinks and toast brought to your table. Ideal link to motorways in the area. The great hall is amazing. Down side is minor. The aporoach to this 1790 building is through an industrial estate. Nit tgat you notice noise etc once in the building.

Absolutely beautiful venue. Friendly staff and excellent food and service. We asked for a quiet room which they provided. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only watch out is that rooms further away from reception suffer with poor wifi

Lovely Hotel Friendly staff

It’s a great hotel, but so noisy. The walls thin, so other guests talking could be heard & the water system so loud, constantly woken up through the night.I’m a best western member but won’t stay at this location again
