The 4 star rating should be reviewed as it's outdated. The room is ok but the whole place needs some renovation. Altogether it's ok for a short stay, great area, nice pool.

I like the location, its service, very friendly.
I didn't like the location of the lobby, the ticket desk is located on the second floor, it is not signposted, the elevators do not always work correctly, you get lost until you know the place.

This hotel was better than expected! The outdoor entry area is beautiful, the breakfast was full of delicious options, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely return!

Rooms need updating, and A/C needs to be stronger the heat in this city is intense and therefore a good A/C is a must.

The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. One of the best attributes of this hotel is the location, near downtown and the Aristides area filled with nice bars and restaurants. The hotel offers a nice breakfast. However, this hotel looks quite outdated. The rooms are old: windows do not open, bathrooms are old, etc. The elevator doors get stuck (do not open) on the first floor. The first time, I got stuck and thought I had to hit the alarm button until I pushed the button for another floor and was able to get off the elevator. I informed staff about it; however, after 48 hours, the problem continued. Again, the location is the best attribute of this hotel.

The hotel has large rooms. We are a family of 4 and it was perfect for us. The breakfast was good. But the bathroom needs a makeover, is old and outdated.

Quality, well located hotel in the center of Mendoza. Nice courtyard area with cafes etc. Pool area looks great but didn't get the chance to try it out.

The Hotel is unfortunately not really a 4* Hotel & quite old & run down. There is to be a shine on the outside of it looking ok, but the rooms are very old and run down.
The beds are comfy though - but not really special.

My stay was good, they have an area of the hotel under construction that disturbed one night but the staff was very prompt in solving that issue.

We had a wonderful time !
Check in was fast we arrived two hours early and they allowed us to do an early check in! Our first time in Argentina and we love it!

The location is nice, though a little bit challenging to unload your car (if you have one). The breakfast was a little on the simple side for such a nice hotel. It would have been nice to have a few hot dishes, like eggs or some meat, but it was great to have fresh fruit.

Really great hotel, in wonderful location right by very pleasant green Plaza, with easy walking to all downtown locations, including the famous Beer Street ! where during Happy Hour ( up to 9 pm ) Craft Beer in Hangar 52 was two pints for Pesos 140. Tours to Vineyards and the Andes Vilages collected from hotel

The hotel is in a good location, has friendly and competent staff and a great breakfast. But the facility itself needs updating. The rooms are decent but uninspiring and the bathroom is too small. The elevators are tiny, with long waits during rush hour.

The hotel is dated and when we were there they were undergoing some construction for upgrades; but it is very comfortable, the construction did not bother us, the staff is great and their service was excellent, The hotel is very clean and it is centrally located, close to shops and restaurants.

Excellent location. The Hotel is improving the service, with a much better breakfast, cleanliness and renewed gym. It still needs work to be done so as to become the 4 star hotel it used to be, but it can be recommended now.

The staff were very helpful and kind despite the language barrier and the rooms were clean/comfortable. The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious! The Wi-Fi did not work though :(

The hotel lobby and staff were pleasant. However, the hallways and rooms were in very poor condition. The pictures on this site do not represent the condition of the hotel. The carpet in the hallways and rooms were stained and torn. I checked out of this hotel as soon as I booked a room in a nearby hotel.

Arriving at this hotel we were surprised at small the rooms were. Beds were not perfectly clean. The safe took a key that was only available through the front desk. Other than that normal dated room.

I don’t recommend a room adjacent/ overlooking the square because it can be a little noisy when you need to sleep. Otherwise I would highly recommend the hotel.

Good location within a short walking distance to parks, areas of interest, restaurants, cafés and bars. Tour groups service the hotel so pick up and drop off is easy.

First we arrived and our reservation was not complete I had confirmation for grow rooms they only had one. once the reservation issue was taken care of they assigned us a room , when we entered the room it was dark and clothes on the floor only to find that a man was sleeping in the bed. we went downstairs to tell them they gave us another room, got in he room and the springs oin the bed were wormed through the mattess material, the next room was suppose to be an upgrade, not, the shower peeked on the floor from not being sealed properly and large bug was caught in between the soffice outside our window making buzzing sounds all night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Popular hotel for trips to climb Aconcagua. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants
downtown. Late arrival on return from Aconcagua climb was no problem.

The Aconcagua is a very nice large hotel. It doesn't have bed and breakfast charm, but does have a very professional and helpful staff,and a lovely restaurant with a spacious outdoor patio. My room was fine, nothing special, but clean and well appointed.
The buffet breakfast was great- good selection that was representative of Mendocino produce and products.

For the price we thought the hotel was great. It was in a great location. The front counter staff were very polite and helpful especially in assisting us on whether the bus terminal was open on the holiday and drawing us a map on how to get there. Our waiter in the restaurant was amazing as well actually arranging to make us a dinner that wasn't even on the menu. We were totally happy with the hotel and the customer experience.

Should I say more... Ok sink plug mostly solved the problem... Also, ok the location is very good. Laying around the pool was fairly nice. Even without the poor smell we would call this a 2 star hotel in American/European standards. The lobby seemed ok, and the staff was nothing special. Breakfasts were not any good. A few kinds of bread with limited additions. I liked the fruit. No hot food without paying. If you expect a 2 star hotel it is fine.

We were on business and really didn't spend much time in the hotel, but it seemed to be convenient and was clean, friendly. Our room smelled of smoke, however, and the rooms are a bit "cold" and a bit sparse. The front desk was helpful and the restaurant was convenient, though quite slow on service. I was surprised that the food was decent, rather than the standard boring hotel food. Convenient if you have a car, as there is parking. The gym leaves much to be desired - out of date equipment and dark, scary room
