We requested a ground floor room, but were on the second floor with no elevator. The room was really hot, had two fans and left the windows open for sleeping.

I had no problem with respect to my room in terms of size, comfort and cleanliness. For this I will highly recommend the hotel. On the other hand I was very disappointed with respect to the restaurants. I had 3 meals breakfast lunch and dinner and all were very disappointing. I was in Dawson for 4 nights and can say the food was great elsewhere.

Very disappointed that this is now a Holland America property and was not advised of this in advance! Crowded and buses coming and going! We would not have stayed there if this information was shared by Expedia!

It is part of the ambiance of Dawson City. Old buildings in bright colors. Well maintained for an old building. Parking and streets are gravel and dirt. Also part of the city’s ambiance. Housekeeping does an amazing job. Good onsite dining.

3pm checkin was repeated denied / delayed apparently due to insufficient staffing. Front desk staff repeatedly said it’ll be just a bit longer. Got room at 430pm.
A self described “manager” Melania Chavez was condescending and rude. And apparently not in tune with the housekeeping staff and schedule. A lot of folks were denied timely possession of their paid for room. Schedules were disrupted.
Chavez represents this property poorly.
The room was fine once available. The restaurant lounge was fine. I’ll not stay at this facility again.
