We stayed at 5504 and were very dissappinyed on the onset. We arrived on 8/16 and stayed until 8//21. We found out that we were eligible for upgrade only when we checked out. The person who checked us in was mean. She didn’t give good directions as a result it took us 15 minutes to find our room. The bathroom was moldy and the stand up shower area was disgusting it appeared that the tile in the shower was fixed it was uneven and moved when we stepped on it. I was afraid that it was going to cave in. We asked for blanket the 1st night and received it in our last night. Out toilet clogged it took 1 hour and three calls for them to come and address. At checked out they tried to have us pay for a charge we didn’t make when clearly the receipt had someone else’s name on it. I was so very disappointed as the Divi are supposed to be the Best but we will never set foot in that establishment again. The only positive interaction we had was Ervin. He was great. I attempted to purchase coffee at the shop 1st 2 days it was great the 3rd time the older woman was not professional she didn’t know what went in the drink when it was clearly written. I had to tell her whereas the younger lady who helped me on Sunday and Monday was great she even remembered what I had previously ordered. The bottom line is that they have to do better. The bathroom was a huge dissapointment in in need of repair. I felt I was fighting for my life every time I got in the shower as I thought I was going to fall.

The resorts in a good location the beach right across the street only thing I didn’t like it wasn’t water in the room. It wasn’t water in the lobby at all.

The renovation and construction work was creating so much noise and so early on the morning ,not to let you relax. Not a good place to be.

The rooms are great! They are spacious and the balcony with table and chairs is an added bonus.

All the staff at the Divi Golf & Beach resorts are kind courteous and helpful.. make u feel like family

Our room had a bad odor emanating from the kitchenette area. It smelled like musty old mold or spoiled food. We looked under the sink and there appeared to be black mold on the PVC pipe. We reported it to the cleaning staff and it was not cleaned. Our sheets had old stains on them that should be thrown away. We were disappointed with our stay.

The resort was very nice but the only thing that turned us off was that we were given a 3rd floor room in a building that had no elevator. My husband and I are both in the 70’s and my husband walks with a cane due to balance and walking difficulties. The front desk staff offered us a first floor room which was bigger so we were required to pay an additional $400 , which i found ridiculous and out of our budget. So we navigated the stairs for 6 days. And when I requested for a later checkout of at least an hour, we were rejected. There was a nice bellman who transported our luggages though.

Very lovely place to stay! Different food options and shuttles that transport you around the villas. Staff was nice and willing to call taxis for you upon request. Our room was spacious and clean however I did see a roach in our room. Other than that the room was clean and I was satisfied with my stay.

Overall, the property is good, excellent swimming pool. I would suggest cleaning the bathroom better and there was a mold smell in the bedroom.

The Divi is a wonderful place to stay. Perfect for couples or families. They want their guests happy. The food at the restaurants are good. The beach is great. The pools are also nice! Love the Divi!

When we arrived at the hotel, the room, while generally a nice space with a nice view, was dirty. We asked for cleaning services for the shower multiple times but none were sent. On two occasions, staff members came to look at the room, agreed it was dirty, then said they would send someone else to clean. Then, a security guard came to our room, spoke to us aggressively, and threatened us. We can only imagine that this was in retaliation for having requested cleaning services because there was no other interaction to justify it. We talked to the front desk staff (who confirmed these facts with the security guard correctly) and they were very apologetic, but offered no accommodation. We found a new accommodation and checked out immediately. The hotel continues to refuse to grant us a refund or apologize for this treatment. I would not recommend this place unless you are looking for unclean rooms, disruptive construction, and disrespectful treatment.

The property was nice. Front desk staff and service were not that great. Concierge was not that interested in working with us if we weren’t willing to sit thru the time share pitch. It was definitely an issue for them that we were not willing ti sit thru it, as they kept offering us free stuff to do it and were visibly upset that we refused. Prior to our arrival, we attempted to communicate with them about making excursion plans before our arrival. We could not get a reply.

Excelent place to stay and good beach

Loved this resort & would chose it before the other all inclusive property only because this one is a bit more private/quiet less crowded thus we’d rather pay for our own food options & all. If you’d rather save on food & drinks then go for the all inclusive. They have shuttles to their other property which has a casino & shopping. Divi Golf Resort is only about 8 minutes away from L.G. Smith Blvd (The Renaissance hotel area) where there’s lots of shopping/food options. This is the area where the party bus drives through. Eagle Beach 🏝️ & Palm Beach area isn’t too far away from Divi. We’d definitely stay again😀

Everything was amazing

I told them that I was an Expedia VIP but was told no room available for an upgrade. This is not true as the hotel is not busy. We were placed in a corner room on the third floor with no elevator. I just feel the this expedia benefit of room upgrade could not be achieved because the resort can lie and say there is no room available. Housekeeping staff and the trolley drivers are nice.

Pool area could have been better. They should have a service that brings drinks to the people around the pool. The beach area should have a drink service The bar staff at the pool should have been more attentive. ERVIN THE LEAD BELL HOP PERSON WAS FANTASTIC!!!! He was a pleasure.

Everything you need in one place. Great pools & beautiful beach right across the street. Nice dining options right on the property. Have been here many many times and will be back for more.

Wonderful everything! Staff were very helpful and pleasant, nice options for dining, our room was spacious and lovely. The beach was amazing as well as the infinity pool. I have been to Aruba many times and this is definitely my favorite. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!
