Good location and friendly staff

Staff very welcoming. Excellent location for train travellers.

The hotel is good and we had a decent experience. The only thing it lacks is decent closet space. For the suite it only had 1 small closet. The breakfast is good and no complaints on anything else

The property is located in a very central place and has beautiful view. The staff at the front desk and at the breakfast are very courteous.

We had a suite and it was good for a short stay. It's directly across the street from the train station so perfect for traveling.

Hotel was lovely. Located only a 10 minute walk from the Eurostar. Lovely breakfast. Only downside was that the air conditioning made more noise than cold air. Other than that I would recommend

The room distribution is horrible, there is no way to walk in between the table and the bed, I founded hairs, rest of nails and mold in the toilet and dust in the balcony.. it’s the worst NH I’ve stayed in my whole life, nothing to compare with Nhow Amsterdam.

Great service on entrance. The security, reception and room staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very modern, the room was clean and well equipped. A great location for travellers only moments walk from Gare de l'est.

No air conditioning even though temperatures were above 75 degrees (28 degrees Celsius), one Staff member mentioned that air conditioning will not be turned on before June, other staff members kept on pacifying by saying they will get it fixed!!

Layout of the room was very weird. Bathroom was not good either. There was no barrier for shower. Once one person takes shower, entire bathroom is wet. Service was excellent.

The hotel was good. We were two families and had two suites. Rooms were a good size. The breakfast was good, with good options of food. Staff overall were helpful and friendly. The only negative was it was extremely warm everywhere in the hotel and rooms. Upon informing the staff, we were told it was because the weather was unusually warm for the time of year and heating system was set. We also had an incident where reception made a mistake and gave our room to another family. We were woken up at 1.30am being told we were in the wrong room. Eventually the family turned away and came back with the staff member. To which, we said again we’d been in the room for 3 days now. He apologised and turned away. It turned out, we were in 518 and they should have been given 418! Hotel manager apologised the next day and offered us a complementary late check out until 5pm.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient to use Metro and bus. Gare du Nord Station was about 15 mins walk. Rooms were a bit small but were nice and clean.

Great hotel, with friendly helpful staff we had a family suite which was 2 bedrooms. Daily housekeeping was included unlike in some other hotels.

This is a great place for the price. I wish they would updatebthe carpets but the reatvis so clean and the staff so friendly i keep returning tobthe same place despite the walk! The breakfast team especially makes your day!

My room was just the right size for me, the bathroom had a tub and a cute backlit mirror. The room was very clean and the staff were attentive. It may not be the beat part of town but I wasnt bothered and never felt unsafe. The metro is right out side the door and gard l'est is right across the street. I'd stay there again for convenience.

We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Gare De l'Est! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered room service twice and was very happy with the quality of food and how quickly we received it. The beds were comfortable and the shower was awessome with the rain shower head.

The hotel was so convenient to the train station and for getting around Paris. Perfect for me.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. They overchage you and it is a battle to get anything back. Still fighting. First of all despite being told of a late check-in (midnight) and the room not being refundable they gave it away. Read the reviews (sadly we didn't) they overcharge everyone. we were charged 80 euros above quoted price for room. It is sneaked through on your credit card.

obviously it’s a typical French hotel, quite ancient, but still very good rooms were quite small but more than enough for me on my own but the location has got some great cafes right next door and the train station is only 20 m across the road and that goes all over Paris from there . All in all, we enjoyed our stay there.

I would recommend this property, only for the fact that our room was clean, and we had no issues There. The bathroom wasn’t really fundamental. The only issue we had with the room is the AC was on full blast and the room was still muggy and hot. We opened the windows at night (we were in top floor) and that sorta solved the issue. I would recommend only because other hotels could definitely be worse. It’s across the street from the Gare du Nord train station so you hear the hustle and bustle from the street below and the people. Lots of sirens all through the night. My husband and I are kinda heavy sleepers so that didn’t bother us so much.
