Reception staff not very helpful except Jessy. Would not give us any milk for tea and rather patronising attitude of the young lady. The rooms are small and tiny toilet. Loud sound of underground trains all day and night. Beds of poor quality. Miles away from the city centre and Main railway station.

The staff is not caring. When we arrive at 18:30, they send us to the room and it was not ready. The second day,when we return the room was not ready also, and when asking they told us they only make room once every 4 days. And this was not mentioned when we reserve.

Excellent location, only downside for me was the fitness facilty offered was terrible

It is a cosy place. Everything is beautiful.

Room clean. Staff was polite. Bed comfortable. Window was a bit small for lightening all the room.

Despite this being out of the city center and there is nothing near the hotel. There were great transport links to the city center with the train station being a 30-second walk from the hotel. The staff was friendly and there were no complaints about the cleanliness. My only suggestion would be more variety for the hot food during breakfast as there was only bacon, sausages and scrambled egg. I would definitely stay again!

I stay here every week and always have to ask for my club membership privileges, not to mention the request on my booking for certain rooms which are never met automaticaly but always get the room on the check-in desk but have ask if they forgot to read?! clearly dont read bookings nor look at the profile of the customer and just see "numbers" rolling in. Apart from checkin process and check in at the desk when i arrive, the staff are brilliant especially the restaurant and breakfast staff, rooms are great, and location perfect for office

Everything was good but quite a distance from main attractions Surrounded by high buildings nothing natural about and around it

We rent a room for 3 people (1 adult and 2 children). However, the room has only 1 bed. We requested at least 2 beds.

Very clean, only downside were the pillows. Hardly anny support so woke up with a sore nek.

I liked the second door to the room- it really cut down the effect of any corridor noise

Really nice stay for a friends trip. We came for a concert and the service at the hotel made for a memorable weekend. Highly recommend

The hotel is amazing in every aspect. Pros: - Amazing service - Good condition of the rooms (newly refurbished) - Nespresso Coffee in the room - nice touch - Good breakfast - Good Wifi Will I ever stay here again? - Definitely not. Why? There is a Paris Metro train station underneath the hotel and the Paris Metro trains run from just after 04:00 to after midnight meaning that if you are susceptible to noise, that you will not sleep very well at all. The hotel offers earplugs as standard in the room, but sleeping with them is uncomfortable and may mean that you may not hear your alarm clock. To me the issue with the train noise is a massive shame as the hotel is great in every other aspect.

Apart from the sound of trains from the RER station below the hotel,our stay was very pleasant,bed was comfy,room was clean and the right temperature. Breakfast was excellent,the choice was very good with something to satisfy all pallettes

Nice hotel to a good Paris price. 10 minutes to central Paris by RER train leaving right by the hotel. A bit of noice from RER though. Good beds and easy to sleep despite noice.

The location is very convenient. Right next to the train station which makes seeing the city much easier

The hotel is located a bit outside Paris center but its very connected by Metro.

Very close to Nanterre Prefecture RER station, 1km from La defense, breezy check in & check out. Friendly & courteous reception. Strongly recommended even though on outskirts of Paris

The worst is the underground noise in the middle of the night, I was in the 3rd floor and I thought it was running under my bed!

My overall impression was of a hotel that did not deserve its fourth star. It was functional at best, with no atmosphere or buzz, a poor breakfast offering (including the most revolting cheap supermarket style baguette I have ever eaten in France) and the overwhelming feeling of catering to tired businessmen not paying their own bills. Poor.

Very nice hotel and very close to train stations connecting you to all of Paris. But be careful to discuss extra cost for their "free" breakfast. If room through Expedia, likely breakfast is not included.

Consider any other then Mercures, lightning is not enough,room service is awful at all

Very good location next to subway station, and by this subway Paris down town is just 6 min breakfast is good and also you can get express Breakfast which is cheaper, includes coffee, orange juice, croissant, butter, jam and bread with 8 euros. outside the hotel you find all many restaurant and cafes also supermarket. room is small and it is not 4 stars room I can not categorize it as 4 starts hotel, in my opinion the hotel is 3 stars. No stuff to carry the luggage with you. Internet service is poor, you can just serve internet and no skype or peer to peer download.
