The hotel is located at about 5 minutes walking from the beach promenade, in an area with many restaurants, bars and shops (but still quiet). The room was just big enough for two people and nicely decorated. We quite enjoyed the backyard area with outdoor sofas and tables, and the free coffee/tea. Plenty of options for breakfast and good food quality.

Booked last minute as I was stuck in Nice. A very welcoming hotel and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Comfortable and close to plenty of restaurants and Promenade des Anglais.

We loved our stay at the Deck hotel Nice! The location is amazing! 1 block away from the sea and the famous boardwalk. Restaurant right there, a bakery and grocery store just across the street…10 minutes walk from the train station and the tram 2 to/from airport is like 7 minutes walk. We had a nice big room with all the modern amenities. The breakfast was delicious! The staff were very kind and helpful. We will be back for sure.

Check in was quick. Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to many dining options. Room was a little small, but had everything that was needed. Would stay again.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Specially the front desk reception the manager the breakfast selection was quite nice and the snacks were special touch. Very warm and welcoming would highly recommend.

The front desk staff was super friendly and helped us in a challenging time. Just for that, The Deck Hotel deserves a 10/10. The vibe was fantastic on the deck with free welcome drinks. The location was also great only hundred meters away from the ocean with many restaurants in its proximity. The only down side was the sound insulation causing us to wake up in early morning/late evening. Overall, I would stay here again!

Great place! Very clean and close to lots of restaurants, shops and the beach. Room was smaller than I thought but it served its purpose so all was good!

The hotel is clean. Rooms are quite small but that's normal now. The staff is great and helpful with suggestions. They say they have parking but the lot is over a block away making it inconvenient and not properly advertised. It's in a good area and convenient to get to as long as you don't need parking or have a lot of luggage.

We really enjoyed The Deck hotel. The location is great, walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants and beaches . Breakfast at hotel is very good with lots of choices. We have stayed there for 7 nights and would definitely go back.

The property was updated and fun, and the breakfast was fantastic. My only problem was that I accidentally left a stuffed animal - my daughter's - in the room when I left, but when I called they said no one had turned it in. The conclusion I drew is that it was found and taken or thrown away. :(

I would happily recommend The Deck Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. Right at the edge of old town and walking distance to the beach, shopping, great restaurants, markets and much more. It is also easily accessible from airport (just take the L2 tram to Jean Medcin) and from Gare de Nice station. The premises were very clean. The rooms are a bit tiny with little room to move around. But that is quite usual by European standards. The location was also quiet during the nights despite being in the busy downtown area.

My friends and I had an excellent stay atcThe Deck Hotel. Its close to the promenade, shops restaurants tram and train stations. It was value for money as they serve delicious full breakfast. Staff (Carlos, Jill, Eleonore, Svetlone )were so helpful and provided excellent service. Staff were very cheerful and made our stay very comfortable

The hotel is located at a nice area. There're public transportation stops around. If you like to walk you can reach most of the attractions on foot. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. Seashore is a few minutes away by walk. Cruise concept is lovely however smaller rooms are in the size of a cruise cabin. Breakfast buffet offers many delicious varieties.

This hotel focused on the wrong things - much more flash than substance. Poor quality towels, showers that look cool but leak onto the floor, that sort of stuff. Perfectly clean but not very comfortable.

Perfectly comfortable, but not at the luxurious end of the scale. I suspect this used to be a hostel, but its been done up to be nicer. Clean throughout, friendly staff, and comfortable. Centrally located so a good base from which to explore.

Brilliant location and superb service from all staff helped make a very enjoyable trip to Nice. Would definitely book here again - or another HappyDeck hotel if standards the same. Special thanks to the staff who helped me recover a forgotten item.

The hotel was in a great location with plenty of restaurants & the seafront close by. The hotel was really good excellent staff & a very good breakfast. The only downside was the size of the bedroom for 2 people. It was far too small & no proper wardrobe to hang clothes but I would definitely stay there again

The hotel is in a great location, and the amenities were wonderful (free coffee, food on location, pool table, amazingly accomodating staff, etc.) However, our room was really tiny, with inadequate space for our luggage and clothing.

Hotel in excellent location, friendly welcome. Room was small with not a lot of storage space, but sufficient. It was comfortable. No trouble with noise. Did not have breakfast as many bakeries within walking distance. Great communal area where there is free hot drinks/water and great to relax. Can also purchase other beverages from the bar at a reasonable price. Free WIFI.

Good location in the Grimaldi section. Right at the center of the tourist section and walking distance from the train station. The staff is extremely friendly and the $15 breakfast was very decent. Although we stay at the beginning of October 2023, the weather was still warm and one the night the room was a little hot and we had to turn on a table fan we found in the room. Not sure if the Air Conditioner was working at full capacity, but it also a concern the room temperature in a hot summer. We did not bring this up to the from desk and if this is just an incidental and temporarily problem, we will definitely stay in this hotel again.
