Convenient and fast check in

Clean room. The hotel was clean and accommodating. Only complaint was that the pool was indoor but pretty chilly

Average but desk staff and maintenance staff excellent

Great check-in. Hotel is very nice and clean. Overall it seems to be a safe area. When coming in later in the evening, there are some questionable people along the road that takes you to the hotel.

It was a beautiful hotel, clean, and modern. Service was excellent. We loved the interior design of our room. The only issue we had is that I was overcharged for our room instead of the rate I had agreed to on Hotels.com. The manager wasn't there when we left, so I had to leave a note. Hopefully it was corrected.

At check in nobody was at the desk. We waited for 10 minutes before the lady came out of her office to check us in. The bathroom wasnt cleaned. There were 2 bars of used soap in the bathtub. The toilet seat was broken. It was just balanced on the toilet. The mirrors had hand smears all over them.

Pricey for the condition and surroundins

This is easily one of the best experiences I have had. The room was clean and looked like it was well cared for. The entire team working was pleasant and I really enjoyed my interactions with each of them. I wish we had spent more time in this location or similar properties, because our family loved it!

Everyone was really nice, rooms were clean and hot breakfast in the morning was great!

We did not get the room type that we signed up for. Instead of rooms with 2 Queen Size beds, we got rooms with a King size bed and Pull Out from couch.

Reserved the room with queen beds and sofa bed but I was given a room with double beds and sofa bed. The reason is because that's what available and Expedia(through which I booked) is at fault it seems.

We booked a room same-day on our way, and when we arrived they had cancelled our room without contacting us. It was late when we arrived, and the city was packed from a big concert. We had booked 2 queens, but they only had one king room left that had no couch, so wouldn’t work for our family of 4. They didn’t have a key to the room that held rollaway beds. Basically, they had no room for us because they cancelled our room. Terrible.

Check in took 40 minutes and the desk person had to verify the room was empty as he had no idea

Great place to stay as a half way point of a long drive. The lady at the front desk was amazing and helped us out with a couple issues that we encountered (no towels, no TV remote and the need for a toilet plunger) as well as an upgrade to a room with a pull out couch. Great breakfast in the morning before getting back on the road. Would definitely recommend this location to all families on vacation as a rest stop on a long trip.

The refrigerator had the last guests’ food still in it and was dirty. The bathroom needed a better cleaning also behind the toilet and water/mold starting on the ceiling. They were out of laundry bags and the front desk tried to be helpful and gave us a garbage bag. Breakfast was not too bad. The pool is small and needed towels restocked and the floors cleaned. The gym was decently equipped. I wish they had some mats for the floor though

My husband and I stayed with our two kids for my daughter’s dance competition. We arrived to no towels in the room. We also needed to use the pull out couch for my kids, it had no sheets or pillows. Called the front desk and the lady told us to come to the desk to pick them up and wouldn’t bring them up. Got to the front desk to be told they have no towels available at the moment , they just put some in the dryer and to come back in an hour. I’m confident that the liner in the shower was no washed. It had globs of a mystery substance all over! No trash can in the room anywhere and we had a king suit with bedroom in it. We love holiday inn but this experience was very poor and the front desk staff was not kind. Our key cards had to go to the desk 3 different times to be reactivated as well. Lastly, we were in a pinch for breakfast Sat morning to get to the dance venue. We were told breakfast starts at 7 am. We got down there at 7 sharp and the lady said she had just started the hot food and it wouldn’t be ready for 15-20 more minutes. There were very limited “cold” items available.

Too close to highway, no toilet paper when arrived in room. Pool clean. Breakfast lady was very nice. Hotel small and lobby small.

Stayed here twice in 7 days (on the way to and then on the way home from SC). Easy to get to. The lady at the desk both times was the same and she was wonderful. Upgraded our room so a family of 5 could sleep. We had a couple issues (while on our way home) - no towels, no TV remote - which this lady rectified immediately. Had an issue with the toilet (not the hotels fault) but she helped us out again. Much appreciated. Had a decent sleep before another long drive. Had a great breakfast and said bye to the lovely lady behind the desk which I hope was close the end of her shift. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone travelling and want a rest 1/2 way.

Brenda (the woman who was working the breakfast bar) was awesome!!!

Staff was friendly and check in was a very smooth process. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bath did not have a plug to hold water. The elevator had a wet floor sign however it was filthy. The floor and the walls both. The following morning it looked as if they had spot mopped the elevator but did not clean any of the walls. An hour before breakfast ended we wanted to eat before getting back in the road and there was no eggs and no biscuits. The gravy was plentiful but dried up so we skipped breakfast.

Everything was great except the bathroom was out of body wash and conditioner

Traffic noise all night was bad. Talked to manager and told him a quick fix would be ear plugs in rooms for guess. Everything else was great! Breakfast was awesome and the room was very clean and nice!

Holiday Inn Express is my go-to for travel. This one was exceptional in updated rooms & carpeting. The staff was terrific, the young man who helped us find the room we wanted was friendly and professional.

The breakfast was good. The hotel is located right next to the highway and therefore noisy. Check-in night staff was not pleasant. Worse part was overcharged. And no remedy despite efforts. If you chose to stay here - be sure to ask for receipt at check-out!
