Terrible service. Terrible hotel. Would not recommend

We checked in late, but they did give me a call letting me know they won’t have anyone at the front after hours and gave me instructions on how to get a hold of security to check me in. I got there. I tried calling security at least 5 times and no answer. There was another number I called and got a hold of their manager. He tried calling security but was unable to get a hold of him/her. Luckily he was close and got there in 10 minutes. Unfortunately there was no elevator, got to the room, bed was not as comfortable as I’d hope, but for the price, it was not bad. Area was not bad, restaurants close by. I would stay there again, but def would not recommend checking in after hours.

Everything is good, except the hotel can significantly improve the customer satisfaction level by offer coffee cream, better soap etc. that only cost a couple of dollars

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Facilities outdated, but were clean and adequate. There is a sitting area with couches and tables for gathering. Free coffee/tea in the lobby every morning. Location excellent - everything in walking distance. Beds quite hard, and pillows very slim. Towels also “budget” quality. Great for a short stay!

It is a little bit of an older place. But it's clean and the people were really nice

We had a good stay here and enjoyed Canmore but it was a pretty basic and slightly shabby hotel so we found it overpriced even though we knew Canmore would be expensive. Communication about access, checking in, parking was excellent and front desk staff very helpful. But there were quite a few things that would have made the room better. The beds werent very comfortable (hard mattresses). The bathroom was cramped and lacking hooks on walls/doors to hang clothing. Even the rack provided for hanging wet towels didn't really serve its purpose as it was small and flimsy, just balanced on a screw on the wall. Bath had no non-slip mat included for the shower (a grab bar might be a good idea too). Charging outlets for electronic devices are usually standard in high priced hotels but this room had none. Having said all that, I probably would book there again for the convenience of free parking and being able to walk into town.

Close to downtown

Should be renamed “Streetview motel”. Close to train tracks. Virtually no counter space in bathroom. No sofa or comfortable chair to sit on. Front desk person couldn’t even say goodbye.
