Lovely clean,spacious room,good customer service good amenities and lots to do in walking distance so brilliantly situated.we have stayed many times always been lovely

Very comfortable room clean

We had noisy people above us on our first night, manager moved us to a better room for the rest of our visit at no extra cost and all was good from them on. Food and service was good. Would stay there again.

Excellent car park,very good reception, Room spacious with good quality fittings excellent good quality large tv comfortable bed,restaurant good food and service,kitchen ignored dietary request but polite waitress sorted matter out in minutes,very impressed, BUT, Avoid room 319, continual noise of machinery from 3pm to next morning,worse 11pm to 1 am and 5.30am to 6.30am. Managed 2 to 3 hrs sleep only.

Rooms were lovely, staff were lovely. Evening meal was delicious and the bar was great. Other guests were noisy but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Spa facilities were also very good.

Amazing stay, friendly staff and food In the restaurant was absolutely lush for a reasonable price - not too busy apart from a wedding but that’s understandable and they all looked beautiful. The only thing that wasn’t great was the noise from the extraction fans on the top of the building which is constantly running - I’m guessing it’s because we stayed facing the canal side and it’s directly above on the roof, it wasn’t loud but just in the background which isn’t the hotels fault as they need it running. Didn’t use the pool or spa area but other half said it was great 👍 thank you for a good stay.

One thing they change the iron in the rooms and they are waste of time . Cheap pound land no stream

Staff are so helpful and friendly

The reason for choosing a Spa hotel is to have relaxing time to unwind. When we went to use the facilities we could not relax as the no. of children that were in the pool was ridiculous they were screaming, shouting and jumping in the pool. After 10min Myself and my wife got out and thought we would ask at reception when the quieter times are as the amount of children in there. We were told there is no quiet times as in was a bank holiday weekend. I believe this should be accounted for and have an adult only hour in the morning and afternoon. Myself and my wife like a cocktial but we only ordered one as the taste was awful the expresso Martini was sweet and watery there was little coffee flavour. The bar tender brought this to the table save me waiting at the bar which is normal when making cocktails, little did I know your bar tenders do not make the cocktails they are out of a bottle, but you are charging the same prices as one that would be properly made. The room we had 315 we could not close the window as no aircon in room and the weather was warm, but the music and the bar was load on the Sat Night until around 1.30 - 2am. The bed was comfy and the room was clean.

It is not a cheap hotel and just did not live up to the price. Reception was not at all welcoming, very basic process the customer as they arrive. Are twice in the restaurant and one of the staff made up for all the others, made us feel very welcome but she was the only one. I got grilled corn on the cob that was ice cold. A glass of wine that didn’t arrive until we had finished eating. Just very average.

Staff were very helpful and friendly and quickly addressed our issue. Breakfast was fantastic and lots of choice. Good to have a pool too.

A little tired and outdated, needs a refresh

We had a higher expectations based on the reputation and number of starts associated with the Copthorne. There was not a refrigerator in the room as mentioned on the booking There was no A/C and we were provided a small fan. The windows open at the top and do not provide much airflow, if any. There are events held at this hotel, which is fine, except the room we were given was nearest to the events and we could hear loud music and people talking until at least 12am. There is limited parking because the lot is not big enough to include guests and event goers. TV is very small for the room. The cleaning staff did not vacuum or leave us any milk and sugar when we had them service our room, which was only 3 times during our 13 night stay. One positive is the location. Next time we will stay in the same area but not at this hotel.

Everything wax just as i would want it. Staff were fast, efficient, polite. There was a reduced menu due to problem with the gas but still enjoyed my pizza.

The room was dusty, clearly not been in use for some time, with a sweet wrapper under the desk and 2 going mouldy Maltearers on the carpet (seen in pic) when I complained about it when checking out ZERO response! NOW! As a customer service trainer in the Hospitality industry, it's all about what happens next when a customer complains about anything, No response is not acceptable, your staff clearly need some training. or have just can't be bothered.
