My room was newly updated, no carpet, new flooring, clean room & bathroom. Very good mattress. No highway noise, very good location.

Look, it’s Motel 6. We had lower expectations going in, however the room looks very well-worn, tiny towels, thin sheets with no comfortable, no breakfast, and this Motel 6 is right next to a freeway and we were put on the freeway side. So noisy. No elevator and the stairs made me nervous. Still, it was one night and we got through it fine.

Checked into this hotel to watch sports, which the first floor rooms have a nice tv package of sports. But i was put in the second floor where the tv package has all sports channels deleted.

Horrible .. shower tub clogged with ridiculous amount of hair..and we found 2 alive Cockaroche's in our room ..ice machine is disgusting

Stayed with the family, my only complaint would be that the floor was dirty.

Vending machines broken. Only coffee available. No water or ice anywhere. Lights don’t work in room. Cigarette burn marks in bed.

When we arrived, the rooms smelt like cat urine I had rented two rooms three people and one and four people in the other. I was only given two towels per room when I asked made when I returned the dirty towels if I could get more and she handed me two towels. I proceeded to tell her that we had more than just two people in each room. She slammed the towels in my hand and told me only two so I called the office. I asked for more towels. They told me it would be there, I waited for hours showed up so then I had to go buy our own towels and then when we were getting ready to leave, we were packing our stuff. The maids proceeded to enter the room, open our soda and Gatorade and help themselves to it, and when we said something, they just looked at us and laughed , and Handed the rest of our drinks to us. I will never stay and a Motel 6 again after this experience.

The nicest Motel 6 we've ever visited. Renovated, quiet, and immaculate. A spotless swimming pool is also available. I hope Motel 6 management can maintain the same high standards as this motel. I think it's the guests' responsibility to maintain the cleanliness as well.

The staff here is top notch, so friendly and easy to deal with.

The motel is old, the windows don’t open, there is no shampoo or hair dryer. The staff was very helpful. The outdoor pool is small, not heated, but very clean. Ok for 1 night budget stay but don’t expect any luxuries.

I arrived early by almost 2 hours and the staff welcomed me without additional cost. Very polite and helpful. The bed was extremely comfy, I had a great night sleep. This is really the best Motel 6, I have stayed in. Thanks so much for making it a great stay!!!

Right next to the interstate. VERY noisy.

I had stayed at this property for roughly two weeks. During the end of my stay, a few days prior to my departure I had noticed an increasingly horrid smell it ended up being a dead rodent and a rodent bait station behind the refrigerator. I kindly and promptly reported it to the front desk staff in which they told me they would switch me rooms asap. The next day by 12pm I still hadn't even heard a thing. From there I was pretty much forced off the property for voicing my concerns to corporate due to the lack of urgency with this issue. I also had to remove the said rodent myself. Very disappointed with the outcome of my stay.

Close to walking distance to South Carlsbad beach. Close to Bressi Ranch shopping center off Palomar Airport road. Good value. Like getting an extra star for free. Friendly staff that try hard to accommodate you. Fast check-in and friendly staff. Close to "old" Carlsbad Village with cozy shops and dining. Convenient location that's easy to find.

Excellent staff and well kept hotel. For motel 6 standards it is very nice. The rooms are upgraded and have very comfortable king size beds. The staff is very accommodating and polite. The housekeepers are very hard working and thorough.

Great value for recently renovated rooms at a convenient location a minute or two from Carlsbad beach and a number of restaurants within walking distance. Consistently friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking and good signal strength WiFi and the rooms that works with VPN. Maids come around on a daily basis asking if you need anything like towels for example. Feels like a safe property to me. Never had any issue with my car parked here.

Concrete stairway step had the front quarter of broken off, unsafe. My room overlooked the freeway which meant I heard loud traffic all night.

It was okay for cheap and a place to sleep for a night. I wouldn’t stay there more than one night, It is run down/old. Decently clean but I didn’t use the shower cause it was stained and old.

The Room was typisch for Motel 6 - it was ok. We know nicer ones. The hole Building is very old, there a really bettet ones. Terrible ist the shower- so old, super mini , the paint from the shower Spams, the towels are so thin and old.

I saw indications of prostitution. At 1 am a woman was screaming. 'F you mother f r I wont do that for you again' I was gonna call the Cops but it stopped about 2 am and left because it was annoying

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

First room we got was on the second floor in front of the stairwell, big mistake. We could not sleep because it was very noisy. Also the AC in our room (232) was not working properly and letting out lots of moisture. Floors and counters were constantly moist and room was super humid. We complained to “D” and he moved us to another room which was great.

The property is very old. I felt like I entered a homeless shelter. They didn’t even check the room they tried to give me at first. It wasn’t clean. Someone just move out that room and was very messy in that room. The second room I got was bad as well even though it was clean by the staff. Bedsheet has hole, pillowcases had stain all over them. Bathroom is terrible. Small, dirty, cracks on wall, very old. Price is not cheap for a motel. Costed $150/ night. I would not book here again. Good luck!

The property had very good lighting, was clean and felt safe. because I had a handicapped room I was interested in the shower accommodation and found it to be excellent. the only complaint I had was the mattress shifted around on the bed platform too much. if the mattress had been anchored - maybe with double sided tape and the corners - I would have felt safer, as I'm not a tall person so getting onto the bed was challenging. but overall the experience was a good one.

Fast checkin, convenient parking, we had a good night sleep. Everything as expected, No surprises.
