Great Hotel to stay in When You Are a Big group or Family!

Great location! Beach front view was breathtaking

4 ladies l stayed in Flatotel We had a 2 bedroom appt. 1 bed was broken.. 1 toilet of the 2 we had was broken and leaked and we were told there was a problem with it before our stay. We were not offered another appt as the hotel was busy. So it ruined our holida. The manager said there was a problem with the toilet. We were offered a free night if we ever stayed there again.

The stay was unfortunately horrendous. Multiple complaints to Reception regarding other guests and noise, with no offer to resolve. Ultimately ended up checking out a day early to try and make sure we were ok for flight home following day.

Was pleasantly surprised.

There were cockroaches in the suite. The furniture is dated. daytime staff are very helpful and kind.

Not good at all short of staff

The apartment size and location were pretty good. The main parking area is not easy to locate as it's kind of hidden and has no clear signs - you have to walk around to figure it out. The rooms are decent sized but the appliances are pretty outdated. There is also no indication that you have to insert your room key in this vague, random little box for AC/Heat units to work. The staff is helpful but they also missed that detail when we mentioned the heating wasn't working. They do have cutlery but have to get your own detergent to wash them. You also need to turn on the fridge manually and that wasn't clear either. Overall, a good experience but these small nuisances one needs to be aware of.

Spacious room, with a bedroom and a sitting room area

The apartment very spacious. But quite dated. Don't have hot water after 4 peoples shower. Need to wait for an hour for warm water. Next day we need to work out how to spread out the bath time😅 Foods available, but wasn't great The facilities such as swimming pool, kids club, things that listed on the description in the hotel either wasn't open or not available during our stay. My 4 kids were very disappointed. I felt that the advertisement was bit mislead. Location is good. Not far from the airport. Apartment seaview also is a plus point. Both reception and restaurant Stuffs are friendly and helpful.

The hotel had a few cleanliness issues which needed to be addressed. Staff were polite and accomodating but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The apartment was very spacious but needs renovating. Nice view of the sea.

I wouldn't stay again in winter. We had stayed twice before and enjoyed amenities like the pool restaurant, the little store, where one could purchase groceries and toiletries etc, Things are different in winter. The hotel is literally empty and consequently, the restaurant service is very, I mean very--I mean the same hamburger and pizza menu as the down the road tourist traps-- limited. Some days on weekend they had a wonderful buffet, but that happened two nights out of ten. Because the property is on a hill, a bit removed from the hotel zone, we had to take the bus and lug groceries from the supermarket, and because the restaurant was so limited we had to take a bus to Benalmedina or Torromolinos, unpleasant at night in the rain. There's an air of scarcity about the place. The apartment had two cups, two spoons, two knives, etc. consequently cooking and eating very restricted, no salt, no clean up dish soap, kitchen cloths, etc. no pepper, sugar, it had lots of toilet paper but one soap dispenser, no shampoo or shower soap. On the other hand, the people are fabulous, very helpful and professional. The apartments are older but lovely, marble floors, roomy, and immaculately clean. The view is the best! I would revisit but in other seasons, not winter.

The room was very big with a beautiful view. It is little bit old and it is not in a walking distance to downtown.

Great space fir price but a bit too noisy due to other guests running around in the corrudors. Need to have a no noise policy. Also one of the front desk personnel was very brusque and rather unfriendly

Loved our one bedroom apartment., Isobella at the front desk was sweet. However, work is needed Doors were broken off the cupboard in the bedroom. It would be nice to have a lawn chair on the balcony. I would return. The view from our room was second to none.

The hotel was really nice and offered a lot for the price. There was plenty to do within the hotel itself such as a pool, bar, games area and supermarket. The rooms had a good amount of space and the bathroom was at a high level. It was also nice to have a balcony and plenty of available car parking. My one gripe would be that although there was a large selection of food available for breakfast a door was kept open and so flies were rife on certain food items that put us off eating more of that available.

Pros: good for families or groups that want to hand out in the same room (livingroom), good opportunity to buy food and eat a meal at home since there is a kitchen. Breakfast is a big buffet, plenty of variety and even soy milk for me (I am lactose intolerant). There was live entertainment one of the nights and it is easy to catch a bus to the main boardwalk if you dont feel like walking. Cons: one of the persons who slept on the bed complained it was not comfortable and hotel does not look all that new.

Rude staff! No customer service at all! We asked for cleaning our room within the hours they offer cleaning (11 am to 3 pm!) and the front desk staff respond was like we ask for a favour. We got the same attitude from all 4 staff we dealt with!

Nice view. Not many restaurants or things nearby. no dish cloths or soap provided to wash dishes.

self catering hard to cook on two rings and no oven every thing burning as no instructions on rings, no dish cloths. staff quite helpful.air con floods the balcony when used so plenty of mopping up every day for us,very far out of the was but lucky we do not mind walking, all and all it was not too bad for a two star hotel,

Good size apartment, but kitchen was very small, without conventional oven or grill which greatly reduced what you could consider to eat. i.e. forget Pizza for a meal. 3 flags flew at entrance; English, French, German, but all TV channels only offered entertainment in Spanish language!Reception staff were not welcoming and made no effort to be friendly.The cleaning staff and hotel shop assistant were very friendly and helpful. Flatotel is 3 miles from Marina (1 hr leisurely walk).

This hotel was sold as a 4 star on Expedia, it definitely is not. The hotel was very basic, very noisy, could hear people in the room next door going to the toilet. When you went in the lift you feared for your life as they arrive on a floor and then suddenly drop. Rooms were not too dirty, things were broken. Pool was ok. Staff were mostly friendly, although some were a little rude. Breakfast was ok ish, just not much selection and a little greasy. Location is in the middle of nowhere, although the bus stops are near, car parking is free. The small beach is near.
