The room was small but clean. Staff was very gentle and professional. There is a parking where you can park your car for 15€, as there is not a lot of place where to park in the city.

Check in was fast, i wanted a meal and tge reception recommended a restaurant not far away which was excellent.
Room was fine and breakfast was of a goid standard with a great choice.
I would stay here again.

The hotel was an excellent choice for a weekend trip to Stresa. The location is central and close to the beach, but not next to a busy road. An iron was not available and there is no experience with breakfast, but otherwise the service and accommodation are really smooth. You could park your car for an extra fee in the parking garage under the hotel, really easy!

Well we are on a 6 week tour on our motorcycle and we chose our hotels as we go from place to place. We were in Brig Switzerland when we chose the Hotel Boston Stresa what a great find this was the place is really nicely decorated very clean and bright. The staff are very helpful and nothing seems to much trouble if you need something. The bedrooms are well appointed and of a good size with balconies. We didn't have breakfast here as we are retired and to be honest we don't normally get up until 9-30 ISH so we normally eat around 11am. The hotel has underground parking which for us was great as we are touring on our motorcycle it costs 8 euros a day and it's safe and secure. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the lake front of Maggiore and 10 mins walk into the main shopping and eating areas. You can get ferries to the islands on the lake and there are plenty of places to eat out lakeside. The hotel is also only 10 mins walk from the railway station and a Conad Supermarket so all in all this is a great place to stay.We will recommend this to our friends and family if they come to Italy. We had a great time here and would certainly stay here again if coming to Maggiore.

We stayed for 3 nights. The welcome was warm and the staff were very nice. The room was clean and spacious and we were fortunate to have a corner room with a view of the lake. Breakfast was good. However, for 2 of our 3 days there was no hot water in the bathroom so we couldn’t shower, the internet connection is intermittent and the hotel doesn’t provide an iron and ironing board (even via housekeeping). There are no yea-making facilities in the room so we couldn’t even boil a kettle for hot water in the sink. On each day were assured that the water was fixed shortly after we left to go out for the day (around 9-10am, so not late). The location is good if you don't want to pay the silly prices for lake-front property, but the issues with the basics let this hotel down quite badly. We weren’t offered a discount for the severe inconvenience.

Fair hotel. Confortable enough for a good sleep. However wifi was not working in our floor, and they told us it would be solved during the day, but nothing was done ans no excuse was asked for it.

Only problem that I experienced was the availability of tables for breakfast. Certain tables were reserved for no apparent reason and it was a struggle to find a table which was free to use.

The room was fine for a night. The beds were comfortable enough, but the wifi did not work in the room. The air conditioning worked, which was nice because the windows do not have screens on them.

Good location set back one road from the lake where the hotels are 4 and 5 star. Ask for a room with a balcony and lake view. Breakfast is OK if nothing exciting and the wi fi didnt work in the bedroom. Comfortable 6 ft bed (two twins pushed together) Stresa is the perfect location for a stay at Lake Maggiore

If approaching by car, do so from the East as it's much easier. When you enter the traffic restricted zone, take note of the time, you'll have 24-hours parking from then. Drop your bags off at the Hotel and get a parking ticket from the hotel. The parking offered by the Hotel can be used within the white lines (blue is pay and display, yellow is for residents). Parking is a nightmare, you'll have to drive round several times to find a space. Display the ticket on the dashboard, and enjoy!
The Hotel is very well located, and is suprisingly quiet. Rooms are nicely decorated, a decent size, and our bathroom/shower was the best of all the hotels we stayed in. Breakfast nicely presented (pastries, meats, cheese etc.), and good quality. Would stay again!

Awful little hotel. Do not cross the elderly woman behind reception. Our room was very small and we asked to move but because I posted a check in review that mentioned the poor check in, Mould and damp in the bathroom and the small room I was told by her that they would not move us because of my comments on hotels.com!!!!!!! One further point, we were in Italy, the home of coffee and at breakfast which was included but was basic and cheap, they actually wanted to charge for an expresso coffee. In addition, in the four nights that we were there we never got any replacement soap and there was only one glass for two people cleaning their teeth. Will not stay here again, very very poor.

Nothing bad but nothing great either about this hotel. No late checkout and if they keep your bags after you have checked out, these are just left in the lobby for anyone to take.

I would say the positive points outweigh any negatives. Don't expect lots of bars as there tend to be lots of restaurants rather than our type of pubs. All staff seem to be very friendly and keen to give advice on types of wine etc. If you go out at the right time you get little tasters of foccacia, pizza, sandwiches etc which were always of great quality.
No wild nights out, more of a relaxing holiday. Absolutely spectacular scenery, so many photo opportunities

We stayed here for one night. We thought the room was a little on the small size but otherwise it was fine and was in a convenient location for central Stress which was about a 10-12 min walk away. We didn't have the breakfast.

Stayed with our 22 month old for 3 nights. Room had a double and two single beds. Stayed in late July so it was 30+ degrees but rooms are well air conditioned and very clean. Good shutters on the windows so room was properly dark. Easy to reach - at the bottom of the road down from the railway station and just one block back from the lake with an easy 5 min walk to the town centre. A nice play park en route to town for little ones. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - treated us very well, and were even more attentive of the individual families/guests staying with them on the days when a coach party was in. Tables had been reserved for us at breakfast and we were checked on regularly. Nice continental breakfast, free wifi with a code and a good shower.

Stayed 5 nights in early May. Friendly welcome, very clean and comfortable room with balcony. Good breakfast including cereals, fruit, cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs. Recommended.

I selected this hotel for our stay in Stesa as the location where we would spend less money. We really liked this hotel value & location. We easily walked from the train station and enjoyed our balcony view of Isola Bella from the 4th (I think) floor. The balcony was very small, but we could sit in the two chairs after exploring the area each day. The hotel staff were very kind to open the breakfast area early on the morning that we needed to head back to the train station.Loved the islands, strolling in Stresa, and exploring the pedestrian friendly shopping/restaurant area! Hope to return to Stresa.

A pleasant hotel, family-run and perfectly placed with Lake Maggiore less than two minutes' walk away and the town centre less than five minutes. Breakfast was adequate but the hotel does no other food. Our beds were not comfortable.

Unfortunately when we arrived we were given a room that had not been made up. We were then given a room a floor higher and nicer than the original room. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and the same distance to the lake. Next time I would probably book a hotel on the lake as they are just as convenient for walking from the train station.

We spent three nights at this hotel in September. We booked a lake view room, which is smaller because it's in the attic (has a small balcony), but affords a view to the lake and mountains (the hotel is a block from the lakefront and lower level rooms face a building across the street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just downhill from the train station, and is an easy stroll from the town center and the ferry dock. The shower was small, but everything was clean and worked great. Breakfast and Wi-Fi included in rate.

We got a really good last minute deal and it was worth every penny. The rooms are relatively modern, have aircon and are clean. The location is in between the train station and the beach - probably 2 mins walk from each in either direction, and then 2 mins walk to the town center.
