We have stayed many times in a campanile including Bethune. It has changed completely. No buffet or even a menu in the evening of which we didn’t know about prior to coming. Coffee machine was broken at breakfast. The basin was cracked in the bathroom. There was a very pungent cleaning smell in the room which caused breathing problems to the point that I had to sleep with a mask on. At 1.30 in the morning there was very loud music being played outside in the car park. Edwin was a very friendly member of staff.

Great for an over night stay after a long drive from the Alps to be close to the tunnel the next day. Rooms are basic but very clean and tea/coffee making facilites. The breakfast the next day was very good, great choice of everything

Booked Campanile as I like the restaurant to be included. Almost exactly as expected. Large, clean, comfortable bed. Adequate room and bathroom, although I would prefer walk-in shower rather than one over the bath. Friendly staff and good evening meal and breakfast. Great buffet choice.

Fine for a travel stop but near a main road its a prefab construction so you can hear the road and anybody talking outside very easily.

Great place to stop near the A26 motorway. Friendly and accommodating, good meals on site. We'd happily stay again.

Good clean quality hotel with warm welcome.

We had told the hotel we would be delayed and were told the desk was open 24/7. Due to a Eurotunnel delay we arrived at 3am (as did a few others). The hotel was locked up and the phone number on the door went to answer machine. Thankfully I had another number the hotel had given me or we would have spent the night in the car. Vague instructions to the room which was in another building were really bad service. Not a good experience.

This was an overnight stay. I had chosen it because it had a restaurant and a pleasant outlook. The room was a reasonable size. There was no tea/coffee making facility in room even though the room description said so. This may have been because of Covid19 but all notices were in french . After travelling for some hours we were glad to have a shower. This was very spacious. However the hairdryer did not work. We then went out to eat in the restaurant. This was closed!!!! even though description said open from 7 - 10pm. We ended up with KFC takeaway. The breakfast was 7.90 Euros each. This was dearer than previous hotels. For this we were given a tray consisting of - a paper cup of orange juice and half a small paper cup of coffee. A plain croissant and a chocolate croissant, a yogurt and a pot of stewed apple. There were 2 wooden spoons. I know restaurants/hotels have to be careful because of virus but cups and cutlery are usually washed. The other hotels we stayed in during our trip gave a better standard of breakfast @ 5.90 Euros. It was a disappointing ending to our holiday.

On entering room found floor outside bathroom door saturated with water. Unable to convey poor condition of room to receptionist due to language barriers. Disappointing that restaurant was not open for evening meal, only option was McDonalds five minute walk away.

Really useful stop v close to motorway perfect to break up the trek to the alps. Basic but super clean and comfortable

We like Campanile stays on our journeys as they are very convenient for overnight stops, clean, good for food and take our little dog. We had previously stayed here and it was great. On this occasion, however, there was a huge party of bikers, who had set up camp with vans, drinks and very loud music right outside our bedrooms. We had three rooms and they spread their camp along in front of them. They should have been placed in another part of the car park, away from other guests. I appreciate they need to stay, and somewhere to gather, but not right outside our rooms.

Great hotel, very convenient for the autoroute and within an hour of Calais. Location and parking easy. I liked it, would stay again.

Food wasn't the dish ordered. Reluctant to change so I gave up had a very poor steak.

Spoilt by person in adjoining room standing outside our door and making a telephone call at 0500hrs and motor cyclists riding up and down nearby road until early hours. I know its outside Campaniles control but reflects on the soyndprooding.

Very convenient for where we needed to go, however difficult to find due to lack of directional signage.

Close to Motorway but quiet.Could do with more signs as it was not easy to find.Excellent staff,good English spoken,interesting menu,polite quick service.Would visit again.

Access from the motorway is very quick, just remember to take an IMMEDIATE right off the roundabout BEFORE Decathlon Shop. Parking was plentiful and secure. We were greeted by a very helpful bi-lingual member of staff and check in was very quick and easy. Our twin room was very comfortable, clean and spacious with a tea/coffee tray. We ate in the Restaurant, the food was cooked perfectly and very tasty with a good selection of wines too. We set off early for our return sailing from Calais so this hotel was perfectly placed for the final leg of our journey, it takes less than an hour by car to the Port. Would definitely recommend using this hotel.

We expected the same with this hotel but it was lovely. It doesn’t smell of cigarettes, it doesn’t have holes in the duvets due to cigarette burns and its clean! It also has a real bathroom rather than a shower over a toilet in a little cubicle and there is a little tea and coffee making facility too. We would stay here before catching the eurotunnel again.

Perfect for a quick 5 hour sleep on our long journey

Small room but very good value for money for a one night stay. Very nice staff.

The hotel was a great place to stay when travelling from or to the ferry ports for British travellers going through France. It was very clean, bathroom and towels plus beds were very clean. All facilities were ideal, except for the Restuarant. We had to wait about 45 minutes after ordering a very simple meal for 3 people. Even though there was only about 8 or 10 other guests in the restaurant. 1 very plain Omellete, 1 burger and one pasta which is normally with minced beef, but we were asked 3 times what meat we wanted and settled for beef, which turned out to be as tough as old boots. So was not reccomended Although the Girl who seemed to do the reception and serve the tables was very helpful. The best option would be either Maconalds or KFC near by which would be much quicker and a lot cheaper.

Everything was fine. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. Nice location which was quiet too. food a bit expensive but would not put me off going again. I would recommend this and will be going again
