Good if you want a nice quiet evening in Saint Malo. A bit far away from the tourist spots so good or bad depending on your plan. The property itself is lovely, I would avoid it on hot summer days since no AC is provided.

Lovely location, friendly, helpful staff. We had 2 garden rooms were the gardens interconnected. Perfect for our dogs, and to sit out & enjoy the summer evenings. Breakfasts very good. Only slight misgiving was the cups for the coffee/tea machine in the rooms were paper. Surely a China cup which can be washed up is more eco sound?

Wonderful boutique hotel in St Malo. Just a 2-minute walk to the beach, a little further to get into town. We stayed here before taking a morning ferry St.Malo-Portsmouth. Also convenient for visiting Mont St. Michel (by car). Clean and comfort room, limited parking so make sure you reserve a parking space well in advance. Breakfast is available for an extra charge, and there’s an on-site bar for the evening.

Our stay here surpassed our expectations beginning with the staff at every level. They all went beyond for us. The hotel is well laid out for relaxation outside and inside with amenities to pass our time. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

A very nice hotel, within walking distance of the old city.

Located in a quiet residential area just one block back from the seafront. Easy 45 mins walk along the promenade to the walled city. Excellent breakfast featuring local produce. Only downside was expensive on site parking. Although it is advisable as the on street parking was narrow and always crowded.

Delicious and varied breakfast, loved the Breton delicacies. The whole property was immaculate and the bedrooms well equipped, we enjoyed spending time in the pretty courtyard. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was much too short so we hope to return! Very courteous staff.

The staff was extremely helpful to someone like me who struggled with luggage since I was on crutches. I had fallen in Paris 2 day before and I was hurting a bit and the weather was a bit stormy, so I was not able to make it to the specific place that I had planned but the hotel was very accommodating and to me.

Hotel La Villefromoy is a 2 minute walk to the beach. The staff is very welcoming and kind. My children loved it.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely neighborhood one block from the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff (especially Sandra) went out of their way to ensure that I was happy with everything. I ordered room service for breakfast and dinner and the food quality was very good. My dog was given food and water bowls and a mat to sleep on. They also offered laundry services for a fee which was well-worth it. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

what a charming place, the opposite end of the boulevard from the old town, beautifully quiet and easy access to the prom. I stayed in the old part of the hotel at the front, I was upgraded to a suite. The staff were extremely helpful. rented a bike from them, they ordered me taxis, gave me beach towels. was really impressed with the whole operation would def go again.

How often can we say we love a hotel? Well, we really loved this one. This is quite a historic building which has been extensively upgraded with tremendous flair, while remaining true to the original. Everything is impeccable. Bedrooms quietly luxurious, supremely comfortable beds and bedding. Good breakfast, light suppers available, private parking. And a spa if that’s your thing. It’s in a lovely quiet, tree-lined street. Our room 9 had a view of the sea about 100 yards down a short side street, which leads on to an extensive promenade running along the shore. 12 minutes drive to ferry. For us, best we’ve encountered in years. Last but not least, welcoming, smiling obliging staff who obviously lovely the place as much as we did.

Great location with access to the sea promenade just metres away. Whole hotel decorated in excellent taste. Helpful and friendly young lady on reception who had to amend our reservation twice in the days before our arrival and did so with great grace.

Great location and spacious space

This place is a jewel! We've stayed here before and were delighted with our return visit. The staff were extremely helpful. It's a shame that the lovely bar/salon is still closed due to COVID, but ownership seems to be taking sensible precautions. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is well-located near a lovely beach. We will return in the future.
