The best hotel I have stayed in France. It has a unique medieval style that is both confortable and beautiful.
4.4
Right in the heart of the city and everything was within walking distance.
The room though was way too small and even opening our case was a struggle. I’d advise anyone wishing to stay in the property to upgrade.
4.4
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

We were expecting more from our stay here. It is very centrally located … so ideal for a short stay - however that is if you don’t need hot water or reliable WiFi. They pride themselves on being a 4 star hotel but I felt that housekeeping was average from no new clean towels to the carpet being very very dirty. The chairs were also very stained and dingy looking. We didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot in the room.
The room itself was kind of sad and very void of natural light. However, its saving grace was the restaurant and wine pairing we did the first night. The food was excellent and I would recommend perhaps just booking dinner for that and staying elsewhere.

Right in the heart of Colmar, beautiful hotel and very dog friendly
4.4
The hotel is a lovely old building close to the town centre. We found all the tourist attractions easily accessible on foot. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes on foot from the train station.
4.4
Delightful hotel in the Little Venice area of Colmar. Charming and helpful staff.
4.4
Our stay was fairly good, only things to note is that rooms are small, the river is just beside so there was two spiders inside our room (one big and one small) and the food/restaurant area was pretty. Comfy beds and shower.
4.4
Staff friendly & helpful. Location is ideal for the not needing to drive anywhere
4.4
This hotel feels like traveling back in time but in a good way. Perfectly preserved and decorated old building and rooms in the heart of Colmar with little venice just behind the hotel. While our room was fitting the style of the hotel there was a little portal to the future leading to a modern and stylish bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful.
4.4
The view is amazing, overlooking Little Venice. The room is small, but that's to be expected since the building is from the 1500s. But the location is unbeatable!
4.4
A very nice and cousy hotel in the city of Colmar. Very friendly and helpful staff, (even though I do not speak French). Beautiful room and good breakfast. I was very positively suprised by the sparkling wine served at breakfast, it felt luxurious.
4.4
The hotel is just as imagined: French Hotel. It is very quaint and gorgeous. This hotel is very close to all activities including shopping and a boat ride. The staff was amazing.
4.4
Amazing location just off little Venice, room backed onto river. Charming little place, could do with slightly modernising but guess that is part of the charm
4.4
Great location right on the canal in little Venice the staff all spoke enough English great restaurant and bar if u r looking for charm this hotel runnith over!
4.4
They gave us a room in a separate building. The room had nice view and clean but lacked in character and had a strong smell of cleaningchemicals. The carpet was too worn out which was an eyesore. The A/C wasn’t cooling much.
4.4
The hotel is beautiful in a fabulous location. The staff were helpful and the hotel including rooms was kept spotless. This is a 16th century building, so it’s not very disable friendly. There is also no lifts in this hotel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re able bodied. The location is perfect.
4.4
Historic building in great shape - very central - easy walking to key attractions- car parking nearby - great breakfast, but don’t be last down! - very accommodating staff - would definitely stay again
4.4
Clean and great location.
4.4
Beautiful hotel in the perfect location!
4.4
Lovely and quiet space, stay in the scene. Great food and service.
4.4
This property is in a wonderful location, easily walkable all around the town to shopping, restaurants and site seeing. When you walk inside, you are taken back to life from generations past. Very clean, staff is nice and accommodating too.
4.4
Our view of the canal was stunning. Breakfast was lovely
4.4
Outstanding service in the hotel, the room key was very heavy
4.4
Beautiful hotel close to everything. The staff helped us with a private driver who took us to a few villages and wine tastings. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice it was so good and staff was super nice. The bar was also very nice. We will stay there again in the future.
4.4
Just a gem built in the 1500’s with a fantastic breakfast. It is old but not tired at all. They even have a lift. Everyone was so gracious especially Madam who makes the most dreamy eggs. The hotel Sits on a canal in the Venice of France it was delightful sitting on their enclosed deck sipping our coffee watching swans and ducks go by. We could walk the entire town from our hotel and we did. Try to get a one hour guide to familiarize yourself with the history of the town. Just so you know there is a Monoprix in town if you forgot something.
4.4
The carpeting in the room needs updating - it has stains and is obviously old.
The bathtub is elevated and has a precarious step to get out.
4.4
Great location. As they say location location and location
4.4
Fantastic cozy hotel with very pleasant service and perfect placed in the historic part of the town.
4.4
Charming hotel and friendly staff. The hotel has no 'communal lounge area' but there is a cocktail bar. Not one where you would sit to read a book though.
4.4
Very nice hotel. I wish they had more stuff that spoke other languages tho, I speak 3 languages and it wasn’t easy to communicate except our last night we had a waiter (Camille) who spoke English.
4.4
We enjoyed our room very much. The hotel is very old with unique architecture. The hotel was also beautifully decorated for Christmas on the outside. One Christmas market is right across the street. Breakfast lacked any gluten free bread but was otherwise well stocked.
4.4
Very dated room, misleading pictures. But of a smell to the room. Was very disappointed from the pictures we saw online and felt very misguided. Breakfast was great tho and the staff was nice. Just a shame it’s so dated. Felt like we rents an apartment from 1992 vs a cozy room as the pictures showed.
For example, the room we got wasn’t in the main building, it was off to the side where you had to walk back out the front to the street and take a hidden door on the side. The show was a sliding glass quarter round, back to what they looked like in the late 90s. Except the door wouldn’t close. Wheels were off the track. There was mold on the baseboards of the room, and the limited carpet area was rough looking. Over just super weathered and not very maintained. Again it’s more of a late 90s apartment rental vs a cozy Christmas hotel with the premium price

Perfect location. Excellent service!
4.4
We love it ! Wishes we could stays little bit longer
4.4
Parking was very very difficult! I wish i had been told ahead that the Christmas market structures would be constructed and parking would be difficult. We had too many luggage pieces to walk many many blocks and then up to roof floor.
4.4
Excellent location. Beautiful property and views from window
4.4
great location.
4.4
The outside is beautiful but the rooms are outdated and bathroom was not super clean.

Very impressive and super
