Hotel was ideally situated for both the train and bus station. The hotel common area and room were in good condition. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The allocated room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Although the room had a kettle I would have liked to have seen a bottle of complementary water. The breakfast provided was very nice with hot and cold options available. Thank you for a comfortable and relaxing stay

Hotel City is perfect for short or extended stays. Comfortable, friendly, welcoming, good location, immediate access to bus, train and taxi. There is an excellent breakfast buffet included in room price. It is a hotel which does all the basics for you properly and efficiently as well as making you feel at home

Excellent clean central hotel in Villach. Walking to the river and centre/old town was 2 minutes. Lots of restaurant options and a grocery store next door. Great hotel and staff very nice. 10/10

Hotel City is perfect for the single traveller like myself. The rooms are perfectly comfortable, cleanliness is first class, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. It is modern and efficient but avoids the soulless character of many contemporary hotels.

Set opposite the station it was easily accessible and only a few minutes walk to the main town parts. The rooms were light and spacious with more than enough room and a nice view over the town to the mountains behind from the one I stayed in.
The staff were friendly and polite and the breakfast was very good with a wide selection on offer.

This was an excellent little hotel. It was clean and modern, very well maintained.The breakfast was included and was excellent. We had free parking during our two day stay. I would stay here again if I return to the area.

Great place to stay, near the Railway Station. I was taken Unwell and need to go to Hospital, the Hotel arranged every thing and the help and assistance required was great.

Reception, brunch and room excellent. Only complaint is location of our room which, once we open our window it is level with part of the roof and you feel like someone could get into your room.

Perfect for reaching the station easily as we had an early train to catch. Town centre within walking distance, lots of places for an evening meal. Very good breakfast after a comfortable night. We would stay here again.

The area was not impressive, but the hotel itself was immaculate and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. You only have to walk around the corner and over the bridge to the pedestrian area of the old city. Great location, good parking, and fabulous buffet breakfast!

Since I had no car I chose this hotel because it is directly opposite Central station and has a taxi rank outside. Also handy for a supermarket, bars and restaurants within walking distance

The hotel is opposite the train station, about a 10 minute walk from the town centre. The room was small but comfortable and clean.

We didn't realize the hotel didn't have air conditioning. This may not be needed in Villach, Austria usually, but we visited during a heat wave. Staff supplied a fan, but we were still uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Everything was great except for the internet. The internet kept disconnecting and each time you had to re-enter a user name and password. Very annoying.

Very pleasant stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast options and a chance to relax in the sauna. Perfectly situated on the edge of the historic town centre.

Very nice place located directly in front of the main train station and maybe 10 minutes into the city center by foot. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that even in the middle of November, the room was very hot, yet all the heaters were off, so there was no way of dealing with the temperature other than opening the window.

We only stayed here a night but found this a good, clean and comfortable place to stay, especially as its so close to the railway station. Its within walking distance of everything you might want to see too.
