Had a bad smell

Smelled like cigarettes at the front door, asked if we wanted a non smoking room, didn’t know they still had hotels that let you smoke, room dark, dingy with all lights on, opened the window curtains, stains all over the white bedspreads on both beds and one bed had a burnt hole in the bedspread, even though ours was non smoking room. Most uncomfortable bed I ever had, like a big hole you sunk into the middle, could not move all night, feet black walking across the floor, no toilet paper left in the bathroom, who cleans bathrooms and does not make sure there is tissue? I have always like Best Westerns never have stayed in one that looked like this. Oh yes forgot about the people in the hall you had to listen to their conversation and the herd of elephants above you that ran across the floor all night.

Decided I would try saving 30 dollars by going here instead of the Hampton. I won’t make that mistake again. I’m surprised how much more that 30 dollars got me at the Hampton.

The hotel is old, so the rooms are not updated. The employee that checked us in was very unfriendly and dismissive towards everyone checking in.

No toilet paper was in the bathroom and toilet was not clean. The refrigerator was freezing food that was not suppose to be frozen. Every item that was put in the fridge was frozen like a popsicle.

Great hotel. It was clean, beds were awesome and the staff were all pleasant. Wonderful breakfast selection(hot and cold items).
Only compliant I had was the trash truck woke us up at 6:30am right outside our window(ground floor room 123). The dumpster is literally 6ft from that room and the 2 on each sides windows. If I could offer any advice to the hotel to make those rooms Perfect, it would be move the dumpster somewhere else! Other than that, absolutely perfect!

2nd time stying after 7 months. Tried other hotels around because we are traveling on weekends for a project. This time we stayed at 102, this time no door slamming, or people making noise at 2-3am sleepped fairly good, pillows and bed were confy, they have estra blankets in the closet, room seemd clean, we used the pool this time and all well. The mini fridge was broken on the top and created a noise and some mold on the floor but other than that ok. No smoke smell thats a plus traveling with an asthmatic kid and the breakfast was really good.

Everything was pleasant, clean, and up-to-date. The breakfast was fine, though I admit I am not a fan of the watery scrambled eggs. One minor issue was that there were only two towels in the bathroom even though we had booked three guests in the room.

It was a good place to stay to visit the Okefenokee Swamp.

Everything was great besides killing at roach at the door when we first opened our door the. Another one on the table in between the beds. The shower was very slippery which means it wasn’t cleaned very well.

the handle came off the toilet. the bedspread was stained. no coffee or tea bags in the room. no hair dryer in the room

The beds were too high. I am short and it was very uncomfortable getting up on the mattress to sleep. When I got off mattress I slid till I touched the floor which was a drop. Everything else was Perfect.
