Wonderful balance of large resort facilities with boutique quality service and convenience.

The service was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. There really was nothing you could fault. A really beautiful property with fantastic standards in all regards.

Truly astonishing hotel. Our room with vaulted ceiling was stunning. Both pools were fabulous. The service was impeccable and very friendly.

A very nice hotel, although could feel a little nickel-and-dimey at times. Beware the 5 euro bottles of water (only complimentary at breakfast). Breakfast was very good. Pools are lovely. Staff are very friendly and helpful; Maria at breakfast especially so. Housekeeping is top-notch and very thorough.

Had a long weekend at this hotel with my daughter. We had a lovely relaxing weekend which was just what we needed. The staff here are really lovely, always smiling always on hand to assist with anything you might need. The food in the restaurant was superb. The breakfast also delicious.

A quiet & restful place to return to at the end of a days tour. Beautiful, traditional buildings set in lovely gardens. Rooms are well appointed. Food is excellent. Staff are superb! Love this place!

After a wait to get checked-in, and several missed promised deadlines, we found the hotel very comfortable.

History, luxury & great service set this hotel apart from the crowd. Quite simply one of the best places we have stayed anywhere, from the lovely toiletries to the great food, lovely gardens to stroll in, choice of 3 pools, quality furnishings and wonderful staff and only 15 mins from beaches,airport etc

We really enjoyed staying at Son Julia. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. The rooms and the grounds were clean and spacious. Down stairs rooms had comfortable private patios that faced the quiet orange groves.

Perfect hotel with an amazing pool and beautiful surroundings

We stayed for 5 days in October 2011. It was unsually hot for the time of year. We were automatically upgraded to a deluxe room (204) which was huge and full of antique furniture. It had 3 juliet baconies, however the room was a little darkened by trees outside. The superior rooms are perfectly acceptable and have a small balcony with sun directly onto them in the afternoon and evening. The superior garden rooms are below them. The furniture in these rooms is more modern and typical of most hotel rooms and of course smaller (35sq.ft.). The staff at this hotel are lovely. All were helpful and accommodating. Despite being 5 star there is a totally unpretentious atmosphere in this hotel. The communal areas in the hotel are stunning. The main pool is absolutely beautiful. The drinks at the pool bar are reasonalbly priced and they have a happy hour between 4 and 5pm. My only gripe is get rid of the music by the pool - I like peace and quiet, not thumping music when I'm relaxing! The food in the restaurant is fantastic and incredibly good value at €39 for the set meal which changes daily. There is also an a la carte menu. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, some manicured some a bit more rustic and some just barren. They grow alot of their own produce on site and have chickens pottering around the grounds, plus a noisy cockerell! Truly organic! (Cont below)

This is a fabulous hotel in a remote location. If you want to see Mallorca you need to hire a car but we spent most of our time there at the hotel pools (indoor and outdoor)and walking around the grounds. The staff are excellent and attentive and the food first class - there are some unique features like the small 15C chapel and the upstairs outdoor pool! With only 24 rooms you get a personal service. The views are not spectacular but then you can't have everything!
