Make sure to book a room with a balcony with riverview, location was great, little outdated but still a great hotel with free breakfast

The staff few of them were not as friendly the restaurant couldn’t accept more reservations we were offered by one kind lady to eat at the bar so it was grossly overpriced based in n amount and quality breakfast buffet excellent Overall a very mix experience

We have used this lovely hotel each time we stop off en route. When we booked this hotel back in September last year, one of the requirements we needed was own parking which this hotel had. When we stopped there this time, we were advised that we couldn't use their car park as they had sold it and there was a possibility of free parking about 200 metres away. 400 meters away there were only 2 spaces available and that was only half hour after check in commenced. This meant we weren't confident we could go out in the car and be able to find a space when we got back. We had driven 400kms to get there. Such a shame, lovely hotel, lovely location but not really what we need now

Staff were very helpful, but if you're lucky enough to get a balcony it comes with problems, the views are excellent, but the noise from the Rhine (barge's) and the train's on the opposite bank can disrupt your sleep , my advice is pack your ear plugs and have a fantastic time.

Great location in Boppard. The room was small not made up for our booked number of guests, once the bed was made up the sheet did not fit correctly and the beds were uncomfortable. The breakfast was adequate, tinned fruit was an option! The hotel itself is very dated, ate in restaurant this was not the best either, over use of salt on the schnitzels and fries. We will not be rushing back to Boppard, and would not use the hotel again.

The location of the property is ideal for anyone interested in in walking or cycling along the rhein. Evening meal very good and well priced.

Great location for a stay in the origin of the Mosel district. The staff was very friendly, the hotel had great parking possibilities and the town center is only a couple of minutes away. The condition of the room were so-so, and the breakfast was definitely not one for the books. But all-in-all a very priceworthy hotel in an excellent location.

Good breakfast. Clean room. Great location. No water pressure in shower. The hot water was almost non-existent. Parking was free but a couple blocks away.

Great location - very tired rooms and fittings. Wi-fi almost non- existent. Parking only available 500 mtrs from hotel lobby. Bedrooms just not very nice to be in. Town of Boppard is well worth the visit

We had the feeling we were staying in a block of flats from the appearance through to the room. The room was clean with plenty of space, simply furnished. Bathroom was nicely finished for the most part, but towels were well past their best, even threadbare! Booked room with river view which we had (just) as room set back looking over car park. Good choice of things for breakfast but no fresh juices. Hotel complex is vast and seems to cater for large tour groups. Limited car parking facilities although free 5 mins away.

One night stay to visit Rhine region. Nice traditional hotel in perfect location but temperature that day was so hot and without air conditioning the sleep was miserable. In addition, the fish fly’s ( what they call mosquitoes) were so numerous we didn’t dare open windows, not that it would have mattered.

Great hotel with a beautifull balcony-view over the river Rhijn

well positioned by the river and near lots of restaurants and the town centre. We had a room with a river view and balcony which was very welcome during the hot weather. Breakfast was plentiful with good selection of cold cuts etc. The room was spacious if a little old fashioned, but comfortable and clean.

Room with lovely view of Rhine could do with a fan in the room as you can’t leave window open at night because of moths. Breakfast very nice staff helpful

Lovely location for visiting the Rhine Valley. You can catch a train into Koblenz, cost 3 euros and your there in 15 mins. You can also hop on the boat cruises and go either way. We went down to Bacharach about 25 kms away. Then travelled back in stages, hop on and hop off. Spent time in a few of them. Only cost 16 euros { 0ver 60s} return.Great value. The hotel although a little dated was great. We had a balcony overlooking the river and could watch the boats and barges pass by. The staff were really great, nothing was too much trouble. On our last day we left early (6 am) the night manager put the coffee machine on early, just for us. He also offered to prepare us some breakfast but we declined. They really make you very welcome. I will return.

The room we had was spot on , although not directly facing the Rhein we had a Rhein view . However if you dislike train noise the railway system is very active and can be heard throughout the night . Having said that I would say every Hotel on the Rhein suffers the train noise . The staff are very pleasant and the room service is very good .

Clean. WiFi sucked. Outdoor cafes, trains and car ferry immediately outside, so meals and transportation were easy. Tour bus pulled up...annoying and loud.

The Rheinlust is in a prime location, in the lovely town of Boppard. The hotel is very well placed for the river cruises down to Koblenz or up the Lorelei, seeing castles and picturesque traditional Rhine Valley towns. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with little in the way of 'frills', but good value. We have stayed many times.

Rheinlust is located right on the Rhine river. The room we stayed in was a family room, which had a double bed, a sofa and coffee table, and a separate room with a twin bed and a trundle bed. The bathroom was large and clean. The room was decorated nicely. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a large selection of items. The staff was friendly and we were able to communicate with them easily. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Terrific location. Staff was very helpful and had everything waiting for us upon arrival. Only surprise was when they apologized and said they had to collect the town tax--all of € .50 per person! Only real negative was construction on the building next door started early in the morning.
