An older style motel, but well maintained, clean, no old converted up smoke smell you often get in these even in the "non smoking rooms." I'm sensitive and mine was fine. Room was clean and kept up, although older style. But for the price was great. Much better experience and cost effectiveness than what I paid twice as much for the previous night elsewhere in one of the bigger chains.

Office was not open when we got there at 2:30 pm and no one was anywhere on the grounds. The telephone number they left to call was disconnected. We had to find a new hotel. If I am charged with this bill, I will never use travelocity again.

This was a very clean place to stay. I only needed a night to sleep while on a long drive, and was quite pleased with what I booked. It was clean, quiet and I felt safe there.

The motel was a nice little place. Clean and convenient. The only thing is the bed was not very comfortable for me. I didn't sleep well.

As a no frills stay the American Inn is a great stay. It’s conveniently located just off the highway and is near lots of restaurants. The proprietors however leave a lot to be desired. The service that I received made me feel as though they didn’t want my business. They refused to provide fresh towels even though it had been incredibly hot that day and I had been working outside. They told me that I’d already used my towels for the day.

Cute little hotel. Not fancy, but very cozy. The lady at the desk was so friendly. Large bathroom and great water pressure. Located near many restaurants. On the main road, but set off some so very quiet sleep.

Got in late and left early so it was ok. Carpet was very stained and bedspread had burn holes and was very old. It was farely clean otherwise. Bed was comfortable. Not bad for the price.

I stayed several days. Each time I had returned to my room it was tidy, clean and I always had fresh towels. Very pleasant stay!

This was a good location, easy to get to places. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean with a great shower. The TV reception was good and there was a good choice of viewing. The staff made a good recommendation for an Italian restaurant that was not far from the motel.

We found this motel to be fine for our purposes which was an overnight stay on a round trip. We were not looking for fancy amenities or extras. We also weren’t looking to eat breakfast so I can't rate that either. Our room was comfortable and clean. I was moving and traveling to my new home with three cats. Many places are pet friendly but not cat friendly so the fact that they welcomed cats was what was important to me.

We stayed here because it was as far as we could get leaving later in the day. Check-in was smooth, room was clean, A/C was loud. Breakfast was available but there really wasn't much there, a few donuts and pastries, cereal, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

Good value for the price, and they accept pets. Downside was the skimpy breakfast

Rooms were very scary, not clean, old and smelly. Door looked like it was once busted into, carpet dirty and old, tiles on the wall in the bathroom above mirror were missing, 4 or more electrical items plugged in to one outlet, bed covers were stained. Worst place I have ever stayed for that kind of money☹️ Should never be a AAA listed place to stay!!! Very upset as we hardly slept due to the condition and the noise outside!!!

This is a basic, clean hotel. It is an older facility but it is not run down. But know that the breakfast is just cold cereal, sticky buns, orange juice, and coffee which is OK but not a full continental breakfast. I checked in at 11:30 PM and there was an attendant ready to assist. That was appreciated. Stay at this hotel for basics, not for pampering.

Didn't want to pay much. Room appears clean, has coffeemaker, microwave, frig. Decent tv. Don't provide much for bkft, only 2 small bath towels......room has essentials and is clean.

I was told that my passport was not a valid ID. I was then placed in a smoking room because the front desk clerk smelled smoke on my clothes, but I was never asked for my preference when it would have been a non smoking room. The bed had seen better days, but the room was cheap and that's what I was looking for.

This place was much better than I expected. Yes, it is older and not remodeled in probably 40 years, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was plenty roomy with free wifi, A coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. It was a great deal. And they allow pets!

Air conditioner was so noisy I couldn't sleep. Breakfast wasn't served until 7 and we are always on the road before that. Room was dark.

Wonderful, kind check in process after a long, difficult drive in icy conditions in 15 degree weather. Warm room which retained it heat without the heat running all night.
