We loved the kitchenette because we were able to eat our own breakfast and make our own lunches.

Staff was awesome. View was pretty.

It was a beautiful beach front property that was in such a close proximity of all amenities! It was fabulous!

Quick, long weekend getaway with family before school started. Property was perfect for what we wanted, spacious rooms, full kitchen, gorgeous view of the ocean, immaculately kept property, private beach, and walking distance (both north and south) of several little shops, restaurants, and bars. Would stay again.

We had an oceanfront room, the views were absolutely beautiful. You can watch the sunset either from your balcony, or right from the beach which is only steps away. Definitely will be coming back to this hotel!!

The elevator need fresh air, the smell of grease is strong

An ideal place to stay. We were just 5 min from the John Pass Village. You can walk there along the beach or the sidewalk. There was construction going on near the elevator during our stay but perhaps the next stay it will be complete. Chris from maintenance was quick to fix the elevator and a ceiling fan. Jeremy, Heath and Cindy were very knowledgeable and professional at the front desk. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.

Even with a storm coming this place was perfect.. the beach was beautiful the room was well thought out and had everything and the pool and hot tub were truly amazing... The staff is awesome so kind and helpful.. can't wait to come back to stay longer

We LOVE the Barefoot Beach! The staff is so friendly and kind. The resort is right on the beach.

This was our second time staying here and we will definitely continue to come back. Because of Tropical Storm Debby there were a few hiccups but the staff dealt with them wonderfully and we were able to make the most of our time there.

This is our third or fourth year staying at this property. Overall, we have enjoyed it in the past few years. The price is reasonable. The rooms are kept up to date. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Although it seems like the area near the elevators on the oceanfront part of the hotel have been under construction since we first started going there. The elevators are quite slow, but it is only four floors and you can take the stairs. Unfortunately, the cleanliness this year fell short. We were finding Band-Aids all over the pool and lounging areas. I am not sure if they don’t have someone to clean after Saturday night into Sunday morning, but there was trash all around the pool area, including a ton of bottle caps, which my young son cut his foot on. There was an extremely large and loud group celebrating an event there with very loud music and they left their trash behind both at the pool area and at the tiki hut area that overlooks the ocean. it would just be nice if somebody came behind and cleaned up after them or that they were required to clean up after themselves, as it seemed like most of the party was not actually staying at the hotel. Just to keep a nice fresh experience for everyone else. We would possibly return, but we may also keep our options open to looking at other hotels in the area.

Check in easy. Our room was poolside, updated and clean. There is construction taking place, but we weren’t disturbed. Had a glitch w the toilet but someone was fixing it immediately. Nice rooftop view/sunning patio. Beautiful views. Club is directly on the beach. Club within walking distance from John’s Pass and multiple restaurants Will stay again!

I did not like the construction going on. We were told it would not affect our stay but it did. It was noisy and we had to pass the workers working every time we used the elevator. Guest were also loud after hours and the air conditioner did not keep the room cool. The area was convenient to St John’s Pass as least. The hotel had no refreshment areas or restaurant.

Yes! Great spot on Madeira Beach super clean with helpful staff like Chris to make sure you enjoy yourself.

Pros- Beach access with great view, pool available, 2 bedroom suite was very clean and spacious for family of 6, check in a easy, staff very friendly especially Chris! Cons- wifi was not great
