Poor service for evening meal. Disinterested, little choice didn’t bother to ask if wanted dessert or coffee

The hotel was easy to find and good value. There was very little milk for tea/coffee but the receptionist gave me more on request.

Comfortable bed, but very creaky. Only pizza for dinner. We weren't given bread or offered dessert or salads (others used a salad bar we didn't know of till later). Room heating didn't work; there was a portable heater in the room.

The original configuration room reserved (single double bed) was originally not available... the room provided was very stuffy and the AC not working. Being a ground floor, it required opening shades and door for a while to air it out, with a parking direct view. Then sleeping with windows open and the associated noise.
Otherwise tight bed and clean bathroom.

Very disappointing. Air conditioning and wifi did not work and nobody around to help. Windows in our room did not open. Restaurant closed before its stated closing hours, although they did find us an indifferent meal of steak and beans. Staff unwelcoming.

The Check-out time was 11, but someone, propably the cleaning lady, opened our door with her own keycard at 9.15 shouting us in french to get out. We were sleeping and the room had no lights on, but she still kept shouting us in french. When I did the Check-out I asked what that was, but the lady refused to speak english.

Reception staff offhand to the point of rudeness. We were given disabled room which we did not need and which had a wet room that flooded. (Avoid room 7). On arrival we reported a blocked sink which was not fixed. We had no apology and no offer of an alternative room despite the hotel not being full. Would not stay here ever again. The gentleman in the dining room was pleasant and did his best.

Our only proble was finding the hotel using your directions. We think there should be more clarity on how to find the hotel from N154. We followed your directions and got lost.

We've stayed here before...it's great!
Trouble was room 19 stank of smoking...not just a hint but sufficient to affect my breathing and sleep
Either it's allowed to be a room for smokers or it's where staff smoke
Admittedly I hate smoke and I have a high sense of smell but it really affected my sleep
I presume the non smoking laws are applied at thus hotel but someone disregards them
Other hotels have smoke alarms to stop this happening
I'd stay here again but ask for a non smoking room!

Nice cosy room with comfy king sized bed, good lighting and window blind. Spacious room with a heater which was easy to use. I liked the mirror in the bathroom which didn't mist up. 2 minuses about the bathroom - the hairdryer didn't work, this wasn't a big deal for us as it happens. Also the extractor vent didn't appear to be working. The hotel is in a good location and easy to find. We had dinner in the restaurant which was a good standard and the staff were very attentive - Thank you!

The room was bigger than I expected based on other European hotels. The breakfast was fine, but selections were limited - could still eat enough though. Bed was comfy, room was fair size for one, might a slight small for two - queen size bed. Still, pretty good though. I could stay there again if needed. Dreux is a very small town with not a lot of anything going on. Again this was strictly a business trip.

Stayed here for a night whilst travelling down though France. Hotel was clean, comfortable and well run. Did not eat at the resturant but food looked good. Kettle in the room was useful.

I booked hotel in march having stayed there before,when we arrived we were advised there would be no restaurant or breakfast facilities due to repairs ,we had to walk one and a half miles to find a restaurant,i reported water coming through bedroom floor to night manager who did not seem to be interested.we should have been advised of these changes before we got there,i feel on this occasion the hotel was not fit for purpose.i would not have stayed there if we had been forwarned.hope I get some sort of explanation

We arrived on a Sunday evening just before 9pm, to find no restaurant, despite what had been said. Apparently some fault in kitchen. No attempt to provide any fall back at all. In the morning, no breakfast service, so for us, instant coffee out of a paper cup in our room. Staff arriving for work stood around drinking expressos!

Pretty good overall but the reception staff were a little abrupt and not particularly smiley. Also the waiter or he may have been the head waiter, at dinner seemed to be on another planet he just didn't seem to be able to cope with the number of people in the restaurant.....and there weren't very many. The room was very new and bright and comfortable...good value for money.

Easy to locate with parking and restaurant on site. Clean and tidy room with nice bathroom and shower. Would stay there again, very good for price.

We have stayed in many Camponile's over the years and this was definitely the worst. The manager was not at all friendly. Supper was chaos - due to a large group (not staying in the hotel). The staff could not cope with the volume of orders culminating in the recording of our order being overcharged, by 25 euros, at check out.

Hotel isn't close to center of town which really is where we would have liked to have been to experience the area. One of the hotel's staff was not friendly at all while the others were okay. Small room but clean. Not in the best part of town and I didn't feel safe walking in the area but okay in hotel.

I spent maybe 6 hours in my room - and most of that asleep, but front desk staff was friendly, free coffee and tea in the room, and good little shower and bed. The other wedding guests stayed in another nearby hotel, and judging from their reviews, I definitely picked the better choice with Campanile!
